Maybelline groaned. “I getting harder just thinking about that last statement.”
“I know. I love hard. I love you.” Blanche grabbed Maybelline around the neck and hung on. “Yes, May. Baby stick her in deeper. Plumb my depths. You know I love deep. You’re thick and long tonight. Let me feel you inside me. I want you. I need you so badly. We haven’t fucked in days, May. Oh yes Honey, make me slick with your wetness.” She reached underneath May’s clit to poke fingers into her dripping vagina. “You’re wet too,” she whispered, kissing Maybelline. Their bodies teased and challenged each other climaxing and moving on to begin another climax. While it was freezing on the porch, both women were sweating. Their clothes were in disarray too.
“We’re gonna catch colds out here with no coats.”
“Nope, we won’t. Lottie and Bonita always leave blankets out here. There a way to pull the plastic sides down too.” Maybelline figured out how to pull the plastic sides down, which provided shelter from the wind coming at them from the woods.
Meanwhile, Blanche brought over an armload of blankets. She spread a blanket over a sturdy chair then had Maybelline sit down she sat in Maybelline’s lap and spread more blankets over them. “How’s that feel?” She watched Maybelline wiggle and squirm until she managed to pull up her dress again, exposing herself. “Sit on me,” she challenged with a wink. “I dare you.” The words barely left her mouth before Blanche accepted the dare. She straddled Maybelline, grabbing Maybelline’s sturdy shoulders and slowly moving up and down. “ You feel so good.
“Because you excite me so much. I can’t stop it.” Maybelline leaned up to kiss Blanche, thrusting her tongue deeper into Blanche’s mouth. Her clit followed her tongue’s moves; or her tongue followed her clit’s movements. Whatever, it felt so good to her.
And it was very addictive to Blanche as well. How was she going to leave Maybelline? After nearly thirty years, they still fucked. No, correction. She still loved fucking Maybelline. Heat washed over her and then settled in her vaginal region as Maybelline rubbed herself into her so and it felt so damned good “May, Baby, look at us. After thirty years, we still want to fuck. And we still do fuck.”
Maybelline kept up the slow, deep movements Blanche loved. She did too, but it drove her crazy as well. Hell, Blanche drove her crazy too with her talk of coming out. Would that be so bad? She had a damned good reputation in NYPD. Declaring her homosexuality might turn some folks off. “Fuck ‘em!” She was tired of playing games too. Would she have to transfer out so Blanche could stay in her slot?
“Did you just tell me to fuck ‘em?”
Maybelline sighed. Her clit returned to normal. “I was thinking out loud.” She smiled when Blanche stopped her movements.
“And?”
“If I announced. Erase that. When I announce I’m gay, I’ll have to transfer one of us. Married folks can’t work in the same office.” Maybelline sighed. “Or maybe it’s just the same unit or work on the same floor. I’ll have to look it up when we get back to the city.”
“But we aren’t married, May.”
“Which was so stupid of me not to do that for decades. Marry me, Blanche.” She studied Blanche’s surprised face. “They say weddings bring out the oddest things in folks.” She sucked in another deep breath. “I was thinking how much I like it up here. With all the arrests, there are job openings for sheriff and for deputy undersheriff. Of course, I’d have to move up here. Something about residency requirements and such. I could be appointed until the term ends, then I’d have to run and win an election. Sharpie and Dutch think I have a chance. I wouldn’t do it if you didn’t come with me.”
Blanche sat upright, accidentally squeezing the stalk inside her.
Maybelline’s forehead broke out into a sweat. “Oh Lordy. I can’t think when you do that.” She thrust up into Blanche hard and fast. “Huh. Huh. Huh. I’m coming, Blanche.”
“Me too,” Blanche moaned, squeezing hard.
Sweaty now, they looked at each other and laughed.
“How is it still so good after thirty years?”
“We were made for each other, is how.” Maybelline studied her perfect mate. “You didn’t answer my question.”
“Which one?”
“All of them. Marry me, Blanche. Move up here with me. Be my executive assistant up here. The sheriff’s office doesn’t seem to have rules about married couple working together. If they do have some obscure regulation like that, the FBI has openings and so does the state according to Sharpie and Lindy. With your NYPD experience, you could even work for Dutch, who’s a private investigator. She works out of here and the city.”
“And you’ll come out to your family, friends and coworkers here and in the city.”
Maybelline had already told her immediate superior what she was considering. He wasn’t too happy about it and offered her more money. She didn’t refuse the increase, saying she wanted to think about it and claimed so did her executive assistant. When her superior asked what that meant, she finally admitted she and Blanche were a couple ever since the divorce. He said he didn’t know whether to congratulate her or kick her butt for hiding it for thirty years like she didn’t trust him. It wasn’t as difficult as she thought it would be ‘to come out to her boss,’ as the saying goes.
Blanche grabbed Maybelline’s chin and shook it. “What are you thinking right now, May?”
Maybelline exhaled debated how much to tell her. “I told my boss what I might want to do about the sheriff’s job. He offered me more money to stay. I mentioned you would go with me. He wanted to know how I knew what you wanted. I told him about thirty years of you and me.”
Blanche studied Maybelline then shoved her in the chest once she realized the truth of her declaration. “Since when do you speak for me, Maybelline Ellen Dodge? I just might stay in the city and find me another woman while you’re busy playing sheriff up here Wickwire!”
Maybelline did the only thing she could think of that didn’t come naturally. She apologized. “Blanche, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to speak for you. I shouldn’t have done that.” She sighed. Moaning now, Blanche leaned down to tongue-kiss Maybelline. “Marry me, Blanche?” Maybelline asked in a strained, shaky voice. “No more sneaking around or living in separate abodes. I promise.” She closed her eyes as Blanche started responding with her actions.
“When?” Blanche managed to squeak out. She groaned softly then moved quickly. She couldn’t outrace the pending storm. “Oh, Honey. May, you make me feel so good. I’m gonna explode!”
When the orgasms were complete, Blanche used the end of a blanket to wipe the sweat from Maybelline’s forehead and chest. She studied Maybelline’s face. “If I answered in the affirmative, what would that mean for us?”
“I’d have to apply for the temp position up here and let the right folks know. Then hope nobody else equally qualified applies. If I got the job, I’d move up here find us a place to live.”
“No, when you get the job, I’d already be up finding us a place. Didn’t you tell me Viola’s niece is a realtor?” Blanche asked as she dabbed at Maybelline’s damp chest.
Maybelline studied Blanche. “I completely forgot. I hope that means yes.”
“Could it mean anything else?” Blanche remarked with a wide grin.
G-Ma cackled with delight. She could see what the others could not when the two lovers moved around the corner into the darken area of the porch. She could hear what the others could not. The promises Maybelline made to her Blanche. “Babies come soon,” she said, then she held up three fingers. “Three babies, Little Tee, another little Ally and boy for Rendie to love. We get new sheriff too. We get senior deputy too.”
Dutch and Bonita exchanged looks then sighed.
“Are you gonna tell us what you know, G-Ma?” Dutch asked.
“Yeah, tell us please. G-Ma, I wanna know too.”
“For me to know. For you to wait. See.”
Lottie giggled at the disappointed looks the cousins gave the older woman, who was also her dear friend. “She’s right, you two. We’ll just wait and see. Anyway, one of her predictions is already true. Lindy’s baby is a boy. As for the other babies and the rest of it, like she said, we wait and see.”

The 10th novel in the DC Adventure Series
DUTCH CHOCOLATE 10: BABY, I need a redo!
THANK YOU FOR READING!
Dear Reader,
Thank you so much for purchasing DUTCH CHOCOLATE9: Where is Vita Louise Kane? I’m glad my adventure novel captured your interest enough to purchase it. Was the novel a quick read for you? Could it have been longer? Which of the characters do you like the most?
Is your favorite character Tanya Dodge, the hero patrolwoman who became a rookie NYPD detective? She’s not sure she belongs in the detective squad. The work is hard. Getting used to the routine of investigating has been a difficult transition for her. Her trainers aren’t sure she’ll make a good detective and they have no problem telling her so. Especially once they learn her mother is a deputy commissioner working out of One PP. Vita Kane, the one woman she meets and develops a liking for, is older and thinks she’s a little naive but treats her like a grown woman. It’s the first time that’s happened to Tanya, and she likes it. Just when Tanya thinks their relationship might go somewhere good, Vita disappears. One day, she’s here. The next day, she’s gone, leaving no note, no call, no email or text for Tanya. Is Tanya Dodge your favorite character? Why do you like her?
Or do you like Vita Louise Kane, the sensual, experienced, NYPD administrative assistant who works for a lieutenant in a Central Harlem precinct. Vita loves her job. She’s good at her job and has been doing it for nearly fifteen years. She’d like to move up the career ladder and end her days working downtown at One PP.
In her personal life, Vita takes some IT courses to add to her skill set and make herself more marketable. She volunteers at the Police Athletic League in Harlem teaching kids computer basics and helping with their homework. She’s single and dates quite a bit but has vowed to remain single until she dies. She doesn’t want the entanglements a relationship could or would involve. That is, until she meets Tanya Dodge, who makes her feel something she hasn’t felt before and it scares her enough that she disappears. Is she your favorite character? Do you like Vita Kane more than Tanya Dodge? If so, why do you like Vita’s character more than Tanya’s character?
Don’t forget about rough, tough ball-shredder, NYPD Deputy Commissioner Maybelline Dodge. She has no time for foolishness or a personal life. Not with two grown children to usher through life. She’s opinionated and bossy. She’s used to ordering around everybody in her world and they better do her bidding or it’s the end of them. Her daughter is the one person she can’t control. She always wanted her daughter to become a lawyer and her son to be a police officer. Instead, she got a police officer daughter who started at the bottom of the heap as an officer walking a beat and a son who worked for the DA’s office. She remains constantly pissed because her daughter refuses her help moving up the career ladder. Is Maybelline Dodge your favorite character? Why is she your favorite character?
What do you think about Natalie Mitchell? She works as an administrative assistant, office manager and girl Friday for defense attorney Viola Day, who moved from NYC to Wickwire. She’s excellent at her job and she loves the work. In her personal life, she’s shy and doesn’t date much. She currently goes to the movies and the occasional dinner with Alice Brewster. She’s too shy to ask for more from Alice than just a friendship, but she’s working on it. How about do you feel about Natalie? Is she your favorite character? Why is she your favorite?
Then there’s Alice Brewster, FBI Special Agent Sharpe’s secretary, office manager and all-around girl Friday. She’s good at what she does on the job. It’s her personal life off the job that’s the problem. She’s playing a dangerous game that she’ll never win. She’s having an affair with an engaged coworker who also reports directly to Special Agent Sharpe. If the affair is discovered, both women could lose their jobs. What do you think of Alice Brewster? How about do you feel about Alice? Is she your favorite character? Do you like Alice more than Natalie? If so, why do you like her character more than Natalie?
Do you like the ending? Would you want to read a sequel?
Last and not least, I have a favor to ask of you. I’d love to hear your feedback… loved the book, hated the book, or what I could do to improve it. As you might have figured out, reviews are difficult to come by these days. You, the reader, now have the power to make or break a book. If you have the time to post a few words, I’d greatly appreciate it if you would.
