Abel, p.11
Abel, page 11
“Good job boy. Didn’t think you had it in you. Being all soft and shit like your mama.” He drops my legs and I back myself up to the wall.
Willy comes over to me and I shrink back. He grabs my arm and removes his belt from my wrist. He squeezes my arm. I look up and a silent conversation goes between us. His eyes apologize and remind me to play along. I spit in his face and he slaps me again. I fall to the floor and curl up.
“Stupid bitch.” He says walking to the door. “I need a shower.” He states to his uncle.
Matteo slaps him on the shoulder and says, “Your father will be very proud of you. But a bit of advice, never kiss the whores and wrap up mijo. They are dirt bitches, you don’t want to catch anything.” The chuckles that follow are haunting.
I glare at the back of Willy’s head as the door closes. I get one glimpse of his sad eyes before it shuts.
I’m crying when I come back to reality. Wilfredo Cardona is still chained to a chair staring at the camera. I wipe my cheeks disgusted at myself. I am not fourteen anymore. I understand exactly what happened back then now. It doesn’t matter that this man is the only sexual encounter to give me an orgasm or that he was my first and only kiss. My rage is back.
I stand and kick open the door to the cell.
“Hello, Dori.” He says in a heavily accented deep voice.
I shiver cause he is nothing like I remember him. His dark hair is styled shorter instead of long and mated, dark eyes sharp no longer dull. Chiseled jaw with a light five o'clock shadow. Expanse suit dripping off his masculine physique. Doesn’t matter how good he looks right now, I try to desperately tell myself.
“You fucking promised.” I accuse as more tears fall down my face. I grab my knives and walk into the room to finish off the last of this fucking family for good.
“I’m even more sorry now than I was then Tesoro.” He confesses softly. “Please trust me one final time. I need your help.”
I’m taken aback by his boldness. I don’t owe this man shit. He helped ruin me just as much as his father and uncle. He reads me like a fucking book and I hate it.
His eyes downcast he whispers, “You remember my promise, yes?”
“You lied or we wouldn’t be talking,” I say circling him.
This time I am the hunter, he is the fucking prey. I press a knife to his throat. “I will never play the victim for you again,” I whisper in his ear as I apply pressure to his jugular.
“Piece of paper in my left suit inner pocket. It has all the information you’ll need to bring them down for good. I’ve dreamt of you every night, Dori. I hope you find the peace you are looking for when you finish your work.” I watch his Adam’s apple as he swallows. I reach over his chest for the paper he mentioned.
Pulling it out slowly in case this is a trick to split my attention. But he barely breathes as I straighten. Maybe it’s the knife, maybe it’s my breast rubbing across his lips. I flip open the folded paper and can’t believe my eyes.
I gasp and drop the knife. “You? It can’t be, no.”
I’m shaking. How can my life get so fucked up so fast? The paper slips from my hands. Suddenly I’m that weak little girl in the cell again.
“Why me?” I ask because I need it to make sense.
I sit, sliding down against the wall at some point. He’s in front of me and holding my arms to my sides. “
How the fuck did you get out?” I’m staring at his eyes. Large, chocolate brown with specks of green.
“Trade secret. You need to search your captives better.” He says on my lips. When did he get so close? I’m starting to hyperventilate.
“Willy?”
This can’t be happening. I shake my head but that just makes the closeness worse. Shit, I won’t be able to take back this mistake. I’m losing control of the situation. I’m supposed to be integrating this asshole for answers, not reliving our fucked up past.
“One more time so I can do it right.”
I gasp and he kisses me. He slips his tongue into my mouth and mine meets his. An electric surge goes up my spine and I am wetter than I can ever remember. All from my second kiss in almost twenty years.
I’m so fucking fucked.

WILFREDO
I’m breaking so many fucking rules that I can’t keep them straight anymore. Five years ago I was given a broken little girl to abuse so I could prove my worth to my father. I outsmarted him that night but lost my heart to her in the process. He died thinking I was a raping son of a bitch like him.
I’ve been keeping that image alive trying my best to play the role of a monster so I don’t lose control of the family business. Now that my uncle Matteo is out of the way I can actually bring it all down. The key to that is currently in shock sitting in front of me.
“Willy?” She must be so confused.
But I just can’t help myself. Our first kiss was quick and for all the wrong reasons. It has haunted my dreams.
“One more time so I can do it right,” I whisper before I suck her bottom lip in my mouth.
She gasps and I slip in my tongue. Now, this is a proper kiss. The scar from the first time we kissed where she bit me swells and I moan into her mouth.
That small sound must bring her back to reality because the fucking knife is back at my throat. I’m slipping. I should have secured the weapon while she was distracted.
“Whatever sick fucking game you’re trying on me, I will not be playing.” She hisses as she uses the blade to move me back in front of her.
I raise my hands in surrender. She's going to want answers I’m not sure I’m ready to give yet. I sigh, here goes nothing.
“The FBI approached you almost two years ago when they realized you were slowly assassinating prime targets in the Columbian sex trafficking rings my family runs. They needed you to stop before you ruined a four-year-long undercover agent's work. They assigned you a handler code-man RECON. You have been in contact via text and email. For security reasons and your own safety, you weren’t given a real name or have ever been able to see their face.”
Damn, she’s got a great poker face. She didn’t even flinch at the info I clearly should not have on her. Time to drop my mic.
“The paper in my suit pocket I printed this morning of our last email conversation. I’m RECON Dori.” We stare at each other for what seems like hours.
“Say something Tesoro,” I whisper.
She’s clearly in shock and feeling majorly betrayed. We have grown close and she has confessed a lot to a virtual stranger she never thought she’d meet, let alone knew. I have been her confidant and safe place. In a fucked up intimate way, her best friend. Until now.
“No.” She stands, walks to the door. Her hand hovers on the handle. Without looking at me she asks, “Prove it.”
There is only one way and the quickest for her to believe me. It’s gonna sting like a bitch.
“You hate the color pink but feel it’s your cross to bear for causing your mother’s death. Doesn’t matter how much we talk about it and I tell you it wasn’t, you still feel guilty But I still say the prettiest pink on this planet is the color of your nipples after you got them pierced for me.” I close my eyes at the mental picture that comes to mind.
I hear the door open, slam shut and the lights go out.
“Fuck.”
I guess that went better than I thought. I am still breathing. I hate that I hurt her again. A memory of the past snakes into my brain. Her green eyes, matted blonde hair looking at me as a door closed me away from her.
She didn’t understand then how much I would have died for her. She will this time. All I’ve done since I recovered from the gunshot wound her father gave me was dream of being the man she deserves. I rub the scar on my chest.
My earpiece crackles. Finally, time to get out of here.
“That sounded fun,” Marisol says. She is not the partner I would have chosen but perfect for the task ahead.
“Time until evac?” I ask cause I can’t burn my cover any worse than I have. I have to get what I came for before Dori tells her Father what’s going on.
“Just waiting for your Tesoro to evacuate the building. Everything is set. The party being thrown tonight will be the perfect cover.” Marisol can be a cold-ass bitch but she’s an excellent agent.
“Are you ready for this?” She knows Dori and I’s history.
“Not even a little.” I sigh and wait.

DYLAN
Getting into a party mood is really hard when your chest hurts. I rub it absently, staring at my toes. I can’t really explain what I’m feeling. It’s the “twin thing” everyone always asks about. The instinctual knowing that something is off with my genetic half. Abel finds me just sitting on the side of the tub, towels around my body and hair.
“Dy, love. Everything ok?”
Yes, no? Talking about this stuff always sounds like mumbo jumbo, as mom used to say. He comes to crouch in front of me. Takes my hand to stop my rubbing and kisses my fingertips. He’s looking at me waiting patiently.
“I’m not sure. I think something may be wrong with Dorian.”
That’s as honest as I can get. My chest just has a hollow feeling. His phone is ringing in the bedroom but he ignores it worried about me. With everything going on it could be important and I’m starting to feel really silly just sitting here worrying about what could be heartburn.
“I’m ok, go see who’s calling. I’m going to blow dry my hair.” I try to smile but it doesn’t fool him.
“We don’t have to do this.” He states but I shake my head. He thinks it's about the party.
“It’s now or in 2 days for our birthdays.” And now he’s got a sour look on his face. Jeez, what can that be about?
“What?”
Abel stands, kisses my nose, and helps me to my feet.
“I feel horrible that your birthday skipped my mind. So much has been happening.” I kiss him.
“Stop, it’s alright. We can celebrate by ourselves. I don’t want anything I don’t already have.” I squeeze him to emphasize my point.
“Ok, but your present has been here for days. So don't get mad at me.”
He walks over to the nightstand and picks up his phone. I turn to the mirror, grab the hairdryer and try to tame my curls. Abel is talking to me but I can’t hear over the noise of the dryer. I turn the damn thing off.
“What did you say?” Abel is on his laptop typing furiously.
“I have to check on some work. Go ahead and finish getting ready gorgeous.” He winks at me and goes back to work.
Abel
Pinky left me a voicemail while I was in the bathroom with Dylan. She looked so lost sitting on the tub ledge. She was so excited earlier but if she’s changed her mind I will put a stop to this shindig. I sigh while I listen to the message.
“You’re fucking slipping. Willy was let out of his chains, the cameras have been hacked. Who bested your security asshole?”
I’m fuming, my attention to detail has been fucked since the wedding. Did I miss so much that I could have gotten someone hurt? Almost forgetting my wife's birthday was bad enough. I got to get my head in this game. The club relies on me to be five steps ahead.
I drop my phone and grab my laptop.
“Dy, love I need to work before we leave,” I say over my shoulder as I get to work.
I bring up the feeds at HAVOC, scroll through the last thirty-six hours, and bring up the metadata to check who gained access. I have a backdoor tracking system that should have notified me of the breach. Someone has changed the permissions and rerouted the notifications. The VPN used traces to Stafford County, Virginia.
“FUCK.”
“What did you say?” Dylan says, turning off the hairdryer. She’s standing naked with one side of her hair silky straight and the other a mess of curls.
“I have to check on some work. Go ahead and finish getting ready gorgeous.” I say winking at her.
I reverse hack the new permissions added, remove access to my cameras and add a nasty malware that will infect the system invading mine so subtly I’ll have full control before morning.
Now that I have full control back I can see a black SUV partially hidden by our sheds and dumpsters. I trace the plates, stolen. I rewind the camera again.
“You little bitch.” I mumble to myself. I’m watching Marisol Santos aka Skye, unlocking the back door and walking in about thirty minutes before Pinky roared into the lot.
I’m working on a hunch, writing code that runs her name and face for other aliases when Dylan calls my name softly. I’m sending a message to Pinky really quickly.
“Abel, time to go.” I’m nodding at her, still typing.
“Almost done.” I say “Need two more seconds,” I close the laptop and lookup. “Finished….Oh wow.”
My jaw drops along with the laptop. Dylan is standing in gold stilettos, every inch of her creamy legs on display. The hem of her mini dress barely covering her ass and sparkles as she turns slowly for me. The gold metallic material of the dress shimmers as she turns. It’s strapless and the neckline plunges almost to her navel.
“Abel, you’re drooling honey.” She giggles, pops her hip, and says “You like?”
I’m fucking speechless. I clear my throat.
“Dy, love you look fantastic but what the fuck is holding that thing in place?” She sucks her teeth at me.
“Really Abel, my boobs DUH.” She grabs them to make her point. I chuckle cause she’s just too fucking cute.
“That dress is defining physics. Do I have to worry about you bending over tonight?” I raise an eyebrow. Shaking her head at me she walks to the closet and comes back out with my suit jacket and a gold clutch.
She holds the jacket out for me and I put my arms in. She buttons me up and smoothes her hands down the front.
“You clean up pretty well yourself.” She admires my outfit. I’m in a new custom Sebastian Cruz, all black, tailored perfectly.
“We match.” I notice and this time she winks at me.
My jacket is a black filigree with gold weaved in, matching her dress perfectly. Never thought I’d be that husband. The ones the wife dresses to match her. I’m ok with it. As long as I can keep my designer labels anyway. Vanity is my middle name after all.
“Let's go before Chaos comes looking for us.”
She draws me out of my inner musings and back to the sight in front of me. The dress shimmers as her hips move. I need a taste of her before we leave this room. I want her thinking about my cock all night.
She’s pulling me to the door but I stop her, push her up against the door and kiss her. I slide my hand under her itty bitty dress and whisper in her ear, “I want you wet for me all night,” as I slide my fingers into her.
Thumb rubbing her clit in slow madding circles. I want her on edge so close to cumming she’ll be out of her mind when I don’t let her.
“Too late,” she gasps. “I've been wet since I saw your ass in those pants.” She’s already at the point of no return. I quickly remove my fingers, suck them clean and open the door.
“ABEL!” She says exasperated. “I was so close!” she pouts. My smile hurts my cheeks.
“I know. Anticipation will make it even better later. Let’s go.”
I’m being a smug prick and don’t care because her flushed face is my favorite thing to look at. I cup her cheek for just a moment, rubbing her bottom lip with the thumb I had on her clit a moment ago.
She must smell herself, now she’ll taste it too. Her little tongue licks her lip and my thumb. Mission accomplished. Her pupils grow and it’s time to leave before I fuck her against the wall.
I’m absolutely positive her face betrays her sexual frustrations when we get to the common room. She mumbles the whole way down the hall and stairs. I hear her saying things like paybacks are a bitch, fucking tease, and something about blue-balls.
I chuckle at her sudden mood change. I rather she is irate at my orgasm denial than in a moopy mood. Doesn’t matter much because it’s all forgotten the second she sees the common room transformed.
“Oh wow,” she whispers.
A glitter bomb went off in here. The waterfall of streamers now looks like waves on the ceiling. Balloons litter the floor. That fucking piñata is hanging by the pool tables and is that a ‘Pin the prick on the husband’ poster?
I’m looking around the room for Chaos. Where did he find this shit? I catch him by the bar holding mini axes? Nope, I’m not asking any more questions.
Cane comes up behind us and slaps my back. “Time to go,” he grins.
Is it ever. I kiss my wife goodbye. “Dy, have fun love.” I empathize to her. She nods and waves as we exit the clubhouse.
“Where? You guys never said.” I ask.
I wasn’t even curious until now.
“Pandemonium.”

DORIAN
I don’t know how to handle the feelings coursing through my body. Do I need anything? Fuck if I know what. Abel’s text stops my pacing in the lobby of HAVOC.
“Black van by dumpsters. Skye breached the backdoor twenty-eight minutes before your arrival. Working on regaining full control of systems. I’ll be able to retrieve all the info in three hours.” Shit.
I’m walking to the backdoor to end yet another problem but my phone chimes again. “Let it play out, we need their end goal. You have a party to attend. Upset my wife and we’re gonna have a problem.”
Fucking Abel, I look up at the camera. The light blinks green then red again. He’s winking at me with the lights. I flip him the bird and head for the front door. Partying is the last fucking thing I need to be doing tonight.
“Copy.” I text back and head home.
The ride home is short but long enough to calm my thoughts and rage. Motorcycles are their own can of special therapy that way.
