  Aiden drew his arrow. A wolf pack was entering the area and ready to fight. The alpha male was soon down. The wolves turned to the armies of Cardsten and some men took flight. Most, however, held their ground and the pack was defeated promptly. They marched on towards the battle. Janks and the troops were beginning to understand.

  Aiden caught Jashion’s eye and motioned for him to take his troops deeper into the forest. Aiden stayed with Janks and his men. They moved more swiftly towards the battlefront.
