Sam shuddered. ‘Bad way to go.’
‘Yeah, lunch.’
They both grinned, trying not to laugh.
‘I tried to save him,’ Sam said, ‘but he was insane. He wanted to get both of us no matter what, even if it meant being eaten by a T-Rex! But yeah, you are right. At least our secret is safe.’
But Sam and Dan were wrong. Siggy knew. He had his spies at the school and his way of keeping across what happened at Weatherly Heights. Siggy knew his book had been found and he was secretly chuffed that the potions still worked. Now, he just needed to know which students had found it, and who had the potential to do some seriously dangerous and exciting spells.
