“Winnieford, there you are,” Spencer called out from the doorway of the sunroom where guests could be seen dancing behind him.

“Were you looking for me, Spencer?”

He walked towards her. “It’s a beautiful night and the music is pumping. I think it would be a shame to waste it. Will you do me the honor of dancing with me?”

“I would love to,” she turned back to say something to Jerome, but he had disappeared. She walked over to the entrance, looked around, but did not see him. It was as if he had vanished in thin air. “Hmm.” Winnie thought as she walked towards Spencer.

He took her hand in his. “Winnieford Dunning, you are stunning.”

Hepburn used to say the same thing, she thought as she took Spencer’s hand. She looked back for Jerome, then stepped onto the dance floor with Spencer.
