“Jace and I moved in together before marriage just like you and Troy, and some people think you shouldn’t do that, but oh well. Some people thought we moved in together too fast, but they don’t know our relationship. And you know the girls who knew he was an escort had plenty to say when we got engaged, but fuck those jealous bitches.”

“Well, aren’t we just a sinful, bunch?” Em says with a laugh.

“Yep, but guess what? We’re still getting our happily ever afters.”

Em’s quiet for a minute. “Sinfully ever afters.”

  We all laugh. “Damn right.”

Cindy comes back in, but makes a point not to look at anyone. I can tell something’s up.

  “What?” I snap.

She looks up quickly. “It’s nothing to worry about.”

  “Cindy, just tell me.”

“Someone’s kid just streaked down the aisle, but she’s got him in the restroom and is getting him clothed again.”

We all stare at her in silence before just giving into the hilarity and cracking up.

“Well, at least it happened before I started walking down the aisle.”

“Which you’re about to do,” she says, looking at the clock on the wall. “Ready?”

  I take a deep breath. “I’m ready.”

  JACE

“I’m sorry for not calling you back, son. I was wanting to get my life together a little bit, and I wasn’t sure if it was possible. I didn’t want to give you false hope. I just knew I needed to try, and hoped for the best,” my mom tells me.

“I understand,” I say. “I just wanted to know that you were okay.”

“Well, I didn’t have my phone with me when I was getting treatment, so I didn’t realize how many times you tried reaching me. But I’m okay now. I’m beyond happy to have been able to meet Adrienne. She’s such a sweet girl, and I’m glad I was able to make it to your wedding.”

“I’m glad, too,” I say with a smile.

“I’m gonna try, Jace. I’m gonna try to make up these lost years. I know we’ll never get the time back, and I can’t apologize enough, but I want to start over. Can we?”

I nod. “We can try. I’d love for you to be in my life again.”

She smiles through the tears. “Thank you.”

I give her another hug as a few knocks hit the door. “Come in.”

Cindy pops back in. “It’s time to get you and the groomsmen in place.”

My mom gives me a big smile. “Congratulations, baby. I’ll talk to you soon.”

“Thanks, Mom,” I say, planting a small kiss on her cheek. “Cindy, can you escort my mom to a seat in the front, please?”

Cindy nods and my mom follows her out. I take a few seconds for myself before meeting the guys out in the hall.

  “You good?” Troy asks.

  “Yeah,” I answer honestly. “Perfect.”

“I’m glad she made it,” he says.

  “Me too.”

“All right, guys,” Cindy says, her heels clicking across the floor. “Front and center, Jace. Then we’ll come out and link up with the guys and wait for Adrienne.”

I do as she says and get in place at the altar. The room is full of mostly friends, and some family. I didn’t think I’d have any family here today, but I see my mom up front with a beaming smile and can’t help but return it.

Most of our guests come from work. I met a lot of people while I was an escort, and I’m not talking about clients. I have a lot of friends in the industry, including my ex-boss Liz Roberts. I’ve also made a lot of connections since me, Troy, and Marc have started the clubs together.

Adrienne has friends at her job, as well as people she’s met because of her job. She’s always out planning some of the biggest events in Vegas, and seeing as how she’s so likable, almost everyone becomes a friend.

We don’t have a lot of family, Adrienne and I, but that’s okay. We have each other, and we have a few close people we consider family, though we don’t share blood. And one day soon, we’ll start our own family, and that’s all we’ll need.

It feels like forever as I await my bride, but then the music starts playing.

We did away with the flower girls, as we didn’t know any young children. Instead, the aisle has a dark purple runner, and white flower petals have already been laid out on each side. The chairs nearest the aisle have been adorned with white and purple flowers tied by ribbon and tulle that hangs to the floor. Adrienne put a lot of work into those.

I stand underneath a large floral arch, made up of pure white flowers and twinkling lights, and to my right, behind the pastor, is a wall of white drapery.

Nico and Cindy enter first, followed by Marc and Nathalia, and finally, Troy and Emilie make their way down the aisle, and my heart beats faster knowing Adrienne is next.

The music changes, and the doors open once again, and Adrienne and her father walk through.

My breath catches in my throat, and as much as I don’t want to admit it, I feel the tears burning the backs of my eyes.

My beautiful, perfect, angel of a bride walks towards me, and in this moment, I know I’m the luckiest man in the world. There’s no way I deserve this sort of perfection in my life, but good god, I’ll do my best to let her know I appreciate her choosing me. She gave me a chance when most wouldn’t, and I’ll be forever thankful.

I see her smile at me through the veil as her and her father get closer, but I don’t think I’ve stopped smiling since she walked through those doors.

The pastor speaks, and her father responds, but I don’t think I fully hear what they say because I’m completely enamored with Adrienne. She was right. The dress is the perfect dress for her, and nobody else could pull it off like she does.

“Wow,” I mouth when she joins me at the altar. “Beautiful.”

She blushes and smiles before looking me up and down and giving me a wink. I crack a grin and try to pay attention to the man tasked with marrying us.

When it comes to the vows, I go first.

“Somehow I’m lucky enough to be able to spend the rest of my life with you. When you walked into my life, so did a love I never knew existed. Your love is absolute. Your love is what keeps me going on the hard days. Your love brings me joy and fulfillment. Today I vow to love you as you love me. I vow to give you every part of me, wholly, and without hesitation. My heart is yours. My loyalty belongs to you and only you. Today, I enter this marriage not with confusion or fear, but without reservation, because I know that no matter what we go through, together, we will conquer anything. Adrienne, I promise to be here through the good times and the bad. I will hold your hand when you need comfort. I will be an ear when you need to talk. I will shelter you from any storm that comes our way, and I will forever support and encourage you in whatever you want to do. You are the best thing to happen to me, and I swear to never have you question the way I feel about you. I will spend the rest of my days proving to you that you’re the other half of my heart, and we are meant to be. I love you, Adrienne.”

At the end of my vows, Adrienne is crying and I’m doing the best I can to keep my tears at bay, but then she starts her vows.

“Jace, the way I love you is a love that can’t fully be expressed by words. I hope to show you in the way I kiss you, touch you, look at you, and the way we spend our days together. I vow to love and be devoted to you for all of our years together. I promise to always have an open heart and an open mind. I will always be there for you in your time of need, and also to celebrate each one of your achievements. You are my heart and my home, and my dream come true. I can’t wait to grow old with you. I love you so much.”

I catch a runaway tear rolling down my cheek and give her a smile. We exchange our rings, and finally, the moment I’ve been waiting for.

“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.”

And kiss her I do. It’s not sloppy and it’s not distasteful, but it’s not chaste either. I touch her tongue with mine, and frame her face with my hands as her hands cup my back. We press into each other and enjoy the moment.

When we pull apart, people cheer and whistle, and I take my wife’s hand, and together we walk back down the aisle as a married couple.

“I love you, Mrs. Jamison,” I whisper, kissing her hand.

“I love you, husband,” she replies with a huge smile.

  ADRIENNE

Jace and I slip into my bridal suite before we make our way to the reception hall.

“We’re married!” I squeal, wrapping my arms around his neck.

“Finally,” he growls, his lips kissing the flesh below my earlobe.

“God, I love you so much,” I tell him, pulling back just to kiss his soft lips.

“Not as much as I love you.”

“Oh, whatever,” I say, knowing this game will never end if I engage.

  “So, you met my mom.”

“I did, and she’s so nice. She taught me how to make crepes and potato omelets.”

He laughs a short laugh. “Wow, I haven’t had those in a long time.”

“I know, and now I get to try to make them for you,” I say with a smile.

“She says she’s sober,” he tells me, his voice a bit somber.

“I believe she is. For now. We don’t know what the road ahead will be like, but we can be there for each other. She’s trying, and that’s a start.”

He nods his head. “I’m glad she’s made it this far. Hopefully mending our relationship will help her want to stay on the right path.”

  “Maybe so.”

“All right, well, let’s not talk about this now. We have a marriage to celebrate. I’m sure everyone has moved over into the reception hall,” he says.

I bite down on my bottom lip. “Well—”

He looks at my bottom lip between my teeth and lust flashes in his eyes. “I know what that means, Mrs. Jamison. You’re thinking something naughty.”

I look down into my bouquet and play with one of the flowers. “Well, I was just thinking we should probably give everyone some time to find their seats, get a drink, you know? Then we’ll make our grand entrance.”

When I look up at him, I see a rogue grin on his face. “And what should we do in the meantime?” he asks, his hands going to my hips.

I lean back into the wall. “I want you to fuck me, Mr. Jamison. Lift me up and fuck me against this wall.”

“Such a dirty mouth,” he teases, leaning in and licking my bottom lip. “I love it.”

Jace drops to his knees and removes my lacy, white thong. He stays under the skirt of my dress, and teases me with his tongue.

  “Oh god,” I moan quietly.

When he stands up, he undoes his pants just enough to pull out his cock. I lick my lips as I watch him stroke it.

He steps towards me and bunches up the tulle of my dress around my waist, and then lifts me up. I throw my legs around him as he thrusts inside of me.

“Fuck,” he growls. “I’ve missed this pussy so much.”

“Show me how much,” I reply, already breathless.

Jace drives into me over and over, and I bite down on my lip to keep from screaming.

We don’t do much talking, because right now words aren’t needed. Our bodies talk for us as I clench around his cock, and as he pushes into me like he can’t get deep enough. I feel the sweat from his head smear across my neck as he picks up the pace. We moan and grunt as each of us looks for relief. It’s been almost two weeks since we had sex, and that’s too long to go without feeling him inside of me. I start moving as much as possible with me pinned against the wall, but I can feel my orgasm building, and I’m trying to rub my clit against him when he thrusts inside.

My body tingles and my head goes back. “Oh, yes, yes,” I chant.

Jace doesn’t let up. “Baby, I’m close.” He says it in a way like he knows he won’t be able to stop it. But that’s fine, because my climax hits.

“Oh fuck,” I yell, perhaps too loudly. I shove my face into his neck.

As I come around his cock, my pussy clenching and unclenching with each spasm, Jace lets out a low and deep roar. When he comes, I feel his cock throbbing inside me.

“Fuck,” we both say at the same time as we try to catch our breath.

He plants a quick kiss on my mouth before pulling out and placing me on my feet.

We each take our turn in the small bathroom that’s in the suite, and I touch up my makeup and hair so it doesn’t look like I just got fucked against a wall.

“Ready to go face our friends and family now?” Jace asks with a chuckle.

“They won’t know what we did.”

Jace takes my hand and we exit the bridal suite and make our way to the reception hall. Cindy’s already out in the hall waiting for us. She gives me a little smirk but doesn’t ask where we’ve been.

“I’m gonna run in and have you guys announced and then you can walk right in.”

  “Thanks, Cindy,” I tell her.

She disappears into the room and a minute later the music cuts off and the DJ starts talking.

“All right, ladies and gentleman. It’s my honor to introduce to you, for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Jamison!”

The cheers erupt, and Jace and I take a second to look at each other and smile before walking in hand in hand.

As everyone is standing and applauding, we make our way to the middle of the room and get on the dance floor. The room is dim except for the large, elegant chandeliers. One in the middle, and two on each end of the room. There’s a few lights in the center of the tiered ceiling that give off a slight purple glow that really make it perfect.

Jace and I dance to All of Me by John Legend as everyone looks on. I can’t take my eyes off of his beautiful face.

“Thank you for marrying me today,” Jace says, tucking one of my curls behind my ear.

“Anytime, babe,” I answer with a laugh.

“You truly are perfect,” he says, his voice soft as his eyes roam over my face.

“I’m not, but I think we’re perfect for each other. I can’t imagine my life without you in it.”

“You’ll never have to know what that’s like. I promise.”

I lay my head on his chest and we finish out our dance that way, just swaying to the music. When the music cuts off, we’re awarded with more cheers, and then I wave everyone onto the dance floor as the DJ plays an upbeat song.

Emilie dances her way over to me and leans in to whisper, “You two totally ran off to screw each other’s brains out, didn’t you?”

I pull back with wide eyes. “No,” I gasp.

She barks out a loud laugh. “I knew it!”

  “Oh, shut up.”

“Couldn’t even wait until the honeymoon,” she says, shaking her head. “Good thing you didn’t get married in a church. You would’ve went to hell for sure.”

I roll my eyes at her. “So how ya feeling?”

“I’m feelin’ pretty good. I can’t drink, so I’m just gonna eat all the sweets and get a sugar high.”

  “Nice.”

After she runs off, everyone dances for another half hour before our food is served. Gluten and all.

The round tables seat ten people, but me and the wedding party get a long, rectangular table in the front of the room, facing everyone else.

“Adrienne, these center pieces are to die for!” Liz tells me as she approaches the table.

Liz is Jace’s old boss and a previous client of mine.

“Thanks, Liz. It took a lot of time and tears to finally get them the way I wanted,” I say with a chuckle.

“Oh, well, if anybody could do it, it would be you.”

“Jace, darling. You are still missed at the agency, you know? I’ve had to hire several more people to pull in the money you were pulling in on your own.” She turns to me. “You snagged a good one.”

I give her a tight smile. “I know I did.”

“Ah, I’m sure you’re still making out just fine, Liz,” Jace says with a carefree laugh.

“Yes, but after you left, Troy left, and Marc left. All my favorites,” she pouts.

“You still have Nico and Kade,” he tells her.

“Ah, yes. My babies. They do pretty well.” She sighs and looks around. “Well, I’m off to go eat. Congrats, you two.”

After she saunters off, I turn to Jace. “She is something else.”

“You get used to it after a while,” he chuckles.

Emilie leans forward and gets my attention. “Hey Adrienne, does this food taste funny to you?”

My eyes almost pop out of my head. “What? No. What’s wrong?”

She smacks her lips a little bit. “Tastes a little…gluten-ey.”

I put my hand on my chest and simultaneously laugh and breathe a sigh of relief. “You bitch. You had me scared for a second.”

“Sorry,” she sings, looking very much not sorry.

At the end of the meal, Troy, Emilie, and my dad give their toasts. Emilie basically cries through hers, but I cry through all of them. Thank god for water-proof mascara.

We cut into our five-tiered cake, enjoy dessert and champagne, and dance, dance, dance. I never want this day to end.

  JACE

During the reception, we all have photos taken against a floral backdrop Adrienne was sure to have constructed, and luckily, we got them taken before people got drunk. Our photographer is also walking around getting candids, so I’m sure there will be plenty of drunken photos to laugh at later.

I spot Nico dancing with Cindy, and when he notices me watching him, he gives me a shrug and a grin. Asshole.

“This is quite the party,” Marc says, approaching me from behind.

I take a sip of my drink as I watch my bride dance with Emilie. “I wish I could take credit for it,” I say with a chuckle. “Besides some input on a few things, this is all Adrienne. My little perfectionist.”

“I may have to hire her for our own celebration,” he says with a laugh.
