  Two Years Later

  Christmas Day

“Mommy, Daddy, Nanta came.” I crack my eyes open and grin at my two-year-old daughter as she squeals, jumping on our bed. Dexter chuckles and wraps her in his arms.

“Shhh, don't wake mommy, baby.” She gasps.

“Shhh, no wake mommy.” She giggles then she shhh’s herself again. It takes everything I have in me not to laugh. Dexter leans over and kisses my temple.

“Stay in bed a little while longer baby. I’ll get the kids ready,” he whispers.

“Daddy, hurry,” Tarah whisper screams and I bite my lip to keep in my laugh. Dexter gets out of bed.

“Come on, princess, let’s go get your brother. Then we need to get Mommy her coffee before we can open presents,” he says to our daughter. How’d I get to be so lucky? I watch him walking away and smile to myself.

“What do you think Santa brought you?” Tarah starts talking a million miles an hour and I finally can't keep it in. I start to laugh. The last two years have been a whirlwind of everything I could have ever wanted. Dexter is so good with our children. He’s a natural, despite his worry that his upbringing would leave him lacking in that department. Tarah is two and Trent is two months old. They are the light of my life. Trent looks just like me with his brown eyes and little nose, but Tarah looks just like her Daddy with light brown hair, big blue eyes, and a smile that can light up a room. I want at least three more kids. I can’t wait to get started on them. Dexter is the most amazing father to them, and I couldn't have asked for a better husband.

He also makes sure I have everything I could ever need or want. That’s not saying we don't have our little tiff’s, but a good round of make-up sex always makes things better.

We started renovations on the cabin a week after I found out that I was pregnant. Luckily, my husband is good with his hands and numbers because he was able to help make our dream house and at an affordable price. We turned my one-bedroom cabin into a six-bedroom, two bath home with a huge kitchen that I love baking in.

Sue Ellen, Sadie Mae, Millie Kay, and Ford are all happily married to their sweethearts. Mom and Dad come back when all of us started popping out babies. They are happily enjoying retirement with their grandbabies.

Last year, we all decided that we would do Christmas morning with our families then we would all go into the big family room at the resort followed by a huge dinner and opening presents from each other. It is going to be an amazing tradition that I can't wait to have for years to come.

“Oh, Mommy, someone is hungry,” Dexter says coming into the room holding our son in one arm and our daughter in the other. I sit up.

  “Mommy, Santa came!” Tarah exclaims.

“Oh my gosh! Did he really? Well we are just going to have to go check that out.” I get out of bed and walk over to my family. I grab Trent then kiss Dexter. “Good morning, husband.” He kisses me back and Tarah giggles.

  “Eww.” I laugh.

“Well, come on Daddy, let's go see those presents.” He grins. We spent the better part of the night setting up one of her gifts and I think I am almost as excited for her to see it as she is to see what Santa brought.

  “Yeah, Daddy. We go”

“You are so right, princess lets go,” he says kissing her little cheek. We make our way downstairs and as I feed our son, Dexter helps our little girl open her presents. When she gets to the big one her eyes get really big and she gasps

“Look, Mommy!” she squeals happily as she unwraps the huge doll house that Dexter and I made for her by hand. She loves it, just like I knew she would. She also got some dolls to go with it and is now playing with them. Dexter comes and sits next to me on the couch where I am feeding Trent.

“You happy baby?” He asks. I grin up at him.

  “So beyond happy, love.”

“Good,” he says putting his arm around my shoulders.

After a few hours we make our way into the big room of the resort where everyone is laughing and talking. Tarah runs off to be with one of her cousins and my mom comes and steals Trent. Dexter kisses my forehead.

“Merry Christmas, wife.” I grin at him.

“Merry Christmas, husband. I love you.” He leans over and kisses me.

“I love you too, Pixie Jo.” His eyes shine with unshed tears and he holds my face in his hands.

“Thank you for giving me the family I have always wanted,” he says in a gruff voice. My eyes tear up.

“You deserve this and so much more, my love. You are the best husband and father a girl could ask for.” He kisses me then he wraps his arms around me and holds me close. I bury my face into his chest and sigh. I know people think that love at first sight is crazy, but I am here to tell you it really does happen. My life is everything I have ever wanted and more and it's all because I gave this amazing man my heart.

I can't wait to see what the future holds for us because I know that no matter what it is with him by my side, I’ll have the world.

  Ten Years Later

  Thanksgiving Eve

Being married for twelve years, I’ve learned a lot about the fairer sex. Add in two daughters along with our three sons over the years and I consider myself a bit of an expert. The expert advice I have is each one is different and nothing that worked for one will ever work on another. Expect the unexpected.

Tarah, our oldest girl, is in a band concert that somehow has to do with the first Thanksgiving. I am not sure how it does, but she’s dressed like a pilgrim so there’s that. My gorgeous wife is sitting beside me as we watch Tarah play the clarinet. Pixie Jo is crying silently as she always does when the kids do anything creative.

“Are you okay, Pixie Jo,” I whisper in her ear after leaning over to her.

“Yeah, I am fine. She’s just amazing though, isn’t she? I might be biased but isn’t she just the best clarinet player you’ve ever seen?” she asks in a whisper, sniffling.

“Yes, she is,” I whisper honestly. I mean, I've never seen anyone else play the clarinet, but she is really amazing. Alright, I am biased too.

After the concert, we take the kids out for hot chocolate and cookies before taking them home and putting them to bed. With Thanksgiving tomorrow, I know they will wear themselves playing with all their cousins before bedtime.

When I found Pixie Jo exactly twelve years ago today, I knew she was everything I ever wanted and the fact that she loved me back makes me believe in the magic of Monroe. It’s a peaceful and easy-going life that I am proud to be living. With her by my side, I can do anything. Together, we have accomplished so much. I have taken on additional local businesses as accounting clients. With her encouragement, nothing is impossible. After locking up the now expanded cabin, I walk into our bedroom and find her naked, putting lotion her legs. Fuck, my cock is immediately hard. It knows what’s coming. She is still so gorgeous. I’m thankful that she is mine.

“Happy anniversary, Pixie Jo,” I say handing her the small gift box I’ve been carrying around for days just waiting for today.

“It’s not our anniversary,” she says laughing. “That’s weeks away.” She goes back to rubbing lotion on herself.

“Our wedding anniversary is not our only anniversary,” I remind her.

“You are being silly tonight,” she says giggling. “What other anniversaries?”

“It’s the anniversary of the first day we met,” I remind her.

“Oh, it is, isn’t it?” she says smiling. “I didn’t get you anything,”

“That’s okay. You give me everything every day. Open it,” I demand. I don’t need anything from her, but her love and I have that in spades.

She grins and rips open the wrapping paper. She shakes the box. It makes some noise, but nothing to give away what it is. “What is it?” she asks, shaking it again.

“Open it and see,” I tell her, chuckling. When she does so she gasps.

“Is this made out of what I think it is?” she asks, running her fingertips over the polished silver.

“It is.” The second we met, we crashed into each other. Her silver tray of food went flying everywhere. It turns out the tray was bent and therefore unusable by the hotel staff. I snapped it up before it could be tossed. I held onto it all these years, just waiting for inspiration to strike as to what I should do with it. I melted it down and repurposed it into three cuff bracelets. I’ll be giving the girls there’s tomorrow. For Pixie Jo’s, I also engraved a message into the inside of it.

I’ve loved you since the first day and I’ve loved you all the days in between. I’ll love you for all the rest of our days. Count on it.

“Oh my God, Dexter, it’s beautiful. I love it. Thank you,” she says putting the bracelet on.

“You don’t think it’s cheesy?” I ask second-guessing myself. Pinterest is overwhelmed with crafty ideas and a crazy place to get lost in when you can’t sleep.

“Not at all. It’s so thoughtful. I can’t believe that you did this,” she says standing from the bench at the foot of our bed.

“I was worried about it,” I admit.

“Was my big, strong, handsome husband really worried that I wouldn’t like something he gave me?”

“Well, it’s different than anything I’ve ever given you before.”

“It’s perfect. It’s meaningful. I love you,” she says, wrapping her arms around my neck. Kissing her, I lift her up, her legs wrapping around my waist.

“I love you too, wife.” Kissing her neck, she moans softly.

  “Fuck me.”

“No, Pixie Jo. I only make love to you, you know that.”

“I know,” she moans as I toss her on the bed.

“But perhaps I could make an exception this one time,” I say quickly undressing.

“You could do both,” she says laying back on the bed. Her eyes shine in the light from her nightstand. The rest of the room is dark making it look like a spotlight is on her.

“I could do both,” I groan when she opens her legs for me. Climbing on the bed, I waste no time in pulling her to me and guiding my cock into her.

“Yes,” she moans softly as I begin to pound into her. Harder and harder I give her everything.

“You are such a good girl, a good wife.”

“Uh-huh,” she cries. “Good husband,” she chants.

“Come for me, Pixie Jo. Give it to me,” I demand. Her pussy squeezes my cock as she comes. The tightness makes me come without warning.

Throughout the night, I take her again and again. Twelve years is a long time to be with someone, but I have to admit I am looking forward to what the rest of our lives will bring.

Falling for Pixie Jo was the best fucking thing to ever happen to me and the proof of that is in the life we made together.
