THE SCUM PRINCE IS DEAD

It's an irrelevant matter, except for the minor issue of Ren Suzuki's reawakening inside the prince's corpse. The reaper is thrust from a dreary apocalypse to a dramatic western fantasy, emerging from tragic pages he'd once read. A dark cult looms over the continent, and only he knows the certainty of their destructiveness.

But he wants nothing to do with it. He lies back sleepily, a stick of candy in mouth, and devises a plan. A plan to flee from all things troublesome.

The issue lies in four neglectful older brothers, a bloodthirsty magician, and a sly fox who asks too many questions. To make it worse, the paranoid hero of the story not only shares liquor, assigns a terrible nickname, and stalks him, but also raises a sword to his neck, demanding Ren's truth. In this undesired second life, will Ren find definition to his wanderings, or remain a bystander in the face of the world's inevitable ruin?
