Drunken Chaos

Drunken Chaos

Antonin Januska

Poetry / Science Fiction & Fantasy / Computers & Internet

Drunken Chaos is a compilation of two epic poems (smaller poetry compilations) called Drunken Poesie and a Chaos Organized. Both collections/poems feature a unique style. The theme of the poems is life progression from drug-induced lifestyle through a depression to resolution. The duo of epic poems go hand in hand as journeys through the growth of individual psyches. The first poem "Drunken Poesie" is an epic about an old man sitting at a tavern, an old anachronistic pub. He trades drinks for stories from his long tired life. After every story, he calls for the listeners to give him more alcohol and he moves on. He draws quite the crowd.a Chaos Organized is a separate epic that, however, tackles same issues. It is a disorganized compilation of poetry that goes on to cover three chapters of inner self-exploration. From comparing inside feelings and outside influences to ancient Egyptian gods to stories of princes, princesses, fires, and stones, each commemorating a part of an entire process. It's hectic, it's dramatic, it's confusing, it makes sense in the end.

G-TRAX Devo's-Spiritual Gifts Part 1: Are You a Minister-Type Peeples?

G-TRAX Devo's-Spiritual Gifts Part 1: Are You a Minister-Type Peeples?

Ron Fast

Ron Fast

All believers are given gifts (not those boxes with cool wrapping paper that sit under the Christmas tree waiting to be opened). These gifts come from the Great Gift Giver in the sky, the Holy Spirit. All Christians, no matter who they are, get these gifts from the Holy Spirit the instant we become “followers of Christ”.From the Intro of the studyImagine yourself on an archeological expedition to Mexico. You are to go to those ancient Aztec temple ruins and find the mummy of an Aztec king named "Hooba-hooba-snarfblat-foo-foo head" or "Hooba" for short, buried deep within the ruins of the Aztec temple named "No enter this-ol' temple unless you want a gazillion fire-breathing ants crawling into your nostrils and eating your brain" or "Oog" for short.King Hooba had a slight problem naming things with long names. That's why he was nuked by his people. They just got tired of trying to remember all of the long names and they revolted. To get rid of him, they fed him oatmeal until he exploded. Then they sucked out his brain and buried him deep in a secret chamber in temple Oog. You had packed all of the stuff that you needed in order to find his burial chamber. The most important part of your gear was the notebook that contained all of the secrets of the temple. Without that notebook, you would get lost in the temple and never find your way back out. You had spent over 20 years researching the secrets of the temple and wrote your findings in the book.So you set out on this long expedition to find King Hooba. When you reached Mexico, a guide (it should be spelled "gide", Oh well!!) met you whose name was Chichi. His job was to guide you to the ruins. It was a four-day trek into the dark jungles of central Mexico. Chichi skillfully guided you through trailless jungles over raging rivers using only a rope bridge to cross. He was sure to avoid those areas that were invested with the dreaded Tsetse flies. If one of these flies were to bite you, your brain would liquefy and run out your nose. If you blew your nose, you could literally blow your brains out. He led you through these mountains that were too steep and dangerous to traverse. In order to get past the mountains, Chichi took you through tunnels. There was a maze of tunnels in these mountains. They were hundreds of miles long. Some tunnels led to other tunnels while others led you nowhere. Still others led you into deep crevasses that meant certain death. He skillfully led you through the maze to the other side. The floors of the tunnels were littered with bones of those who dared venture into its depths without a guide. Just imagine, sinking deeper and deeper into this abyss of tunnels never to see the light of day again. Finally you emerged from the tunnels on the other side of the mountain. Below you was this enormous lush valley. It was covered by a carpet of grass. Trees dotted the valley. It was the most beautiful thing you had ever seen. There was a mist that blanketed most of the valley. Off in the distance you could hear exotic birds sounding off as if to warn trespassers to keep out. There was an eerie air about the valley. You couldn't quite pin it down but you could feel that something was dangerous about this valley. Even your guide was slightly nervous, but you had come to your final leg of the journey to the temple. You weren't about to turn around now.

Shattered Shackles

Shattered Shackles

Georgia McCain

Georgia McCain

This religious novel explores the unusual juxtaposition of the lives of members of several Southern families, the “shackles” of alcoholism, and its extremely adverse impact on family and romantic relationships. It also demonstrates the power of prayer and conversion to Christianity and its positive effect in restoring damaged relationships by the resultant “shattered shackles”The lives of Jim Reid and his drinking buddy, John O'Banion, hit “rock bottom” in their marriages. Both started drinking at an early age. Jim was a habitual drunkard, poor provider, and often an absentee husband and father of 6 children. The oldest, Billy, disappeared and was never found. Jim was often unemployed and often slept in box cars, under bridges, in the back of saloons, or wherever he could find a place. When his wife Lola died, Jim stayed with the children for awhile but eventually alcoholism took its hold and Jim left his children on their own. While searching for the “man in black” who presided over the funeral of Lola, the children were discovered and went to live with Ben and Sarah Barton. It turned out that the “man in black” was actually the uncle of Sarah, Rev. Jack Delaney (“Uncle Jack”). He and wife, Mae, had raised Sarah and her sister, Bessie, after their parents were killed in an automobile accident. This led to the re-discovery of the children's father Jim, his conversion to Christianity after a young man handed him a tract containing Rev. Delaney's name, and the happy re-uniting with the children. Meanwhile, John was a terrible, mean husband to Alice, one of Jim's nieces. He had beat up his wife on occasion and had even pulled a gun on Alice's mother and “acted like a wild man”. John was re-united with his old drinking buddy, Jim, after John came to Rev. Delaney to preside over the funeral of the death of his newborn child. This eventually led to John seeking to have his “shackles” of alcoholism “shattered” through his pursuit of Christianity. Another family that incurred the “shackles” of alcoholism was the Greene family. Alton Greene discovered Jim passed out drunk in in alley, which led to Jim's hospitalization and dangerous illness for several days. Alton had serious alcoholism issues that eventually led to his commitment to a mental institution for 11 months. He and his twin brother, Bud, became hopeless alcoholics at barely 20 years old. Alton was devastated when Bud was killed when struck by an automobile, and even contemplated suicide. Their sister, Rachal, had an unfortunate romance unknowingly to a married man and had a child out of wedlock.Alton fell in love with Sarah's sister and a niece of Rev. Delaney, Bessie, and had several dates. He had initially seen her singing on the street about the love of God. Bessie was much younger than Alton and their romance was adversely impacted by Alton's alcoholism and the fact that he was not a Christian. Jim, meanwhile fell in love with Alton's sister, Rachal, but had to deal with the fact that, even though she was now a Christian, she had been an unwed mother. This religious novel explores the unusual juxtaposition of the lives of members of several Southern families, the “shackles” of alcoholism, and its extremely adverse impact on family and romantic relationships. It also demonstrates the power of prayer, coupled with acts of faith and coincidental events, in “shattering the shackles” of alcohol through Christian conversion, restoring damaged relationships, and changing lives forever.

The Dark Temptation of the Soul. A Vampire Tale. Season 1: Episode 1. The Diary of Gabriel Von Erlach. This vampire tale, written as journal entries, is the prequel to 'The Dark Salvation of the Soul' --which we shall be re-writing and publishing. Some readers might find some of this work prosaic, although we feel the story does get more flowery, erotic, and darkly romantic as it progresses. It is partly gothic romance and partly vampire fantasy fiction. We do hope you will enjoy it for whatever it is worth.
