PS. Float was written in 2013, which was my last year before becoming a mom, and I blame the overuse of the word butt in that book on my kid-less status. Now that I have four (kids, not butts), you’ll notice that word is used a lot less in this book. Which, considering my main character is the ever-naked Hank, is kind of an impressive trick. I apologize or you’re welcome . . . depending on where you fall on the derriere debate.

I have so many people that I need to thank for letting me return to Camp Outlier for another year! I’d been dying to come back ever since I finished Float, and I owe Tara Weikum for loving Float and its cast of misfits enough to want to see what happened to them in their second year!
