  Chapter Seven

The next morning dawned overcast but dry. Baily got up with the guys who were dressing for work. The forecast from the weather the night before had called for a chance of rain but only a forty percent chance. Still, they were adamant that she check in with them all during the trip and when she made it home.

“I want to tell you something, guys,” she said once she was packed up in the car and ready to leave.

  “What’s that, babe?” Seth asked.

“I’ve decided to move in with you guys, but…”

  “Perfect,” Cannon said.

  “Great,” Seth said.

“But,” she said again. “I’m keeping my lease in case this doesn’t work out.”

“That’s a waste of money,” Seth said. “It’s going to work out fine.”

“If after a few months it looks like we’re compatible, I’ll look at breaking it if I can,” she said. “I don’t even know if I can. I’ll probably have to buy it out anyway.”

“We said we’d do that,” Cannon reminded her.

“I know, but I don’t want you to do that. It’s my lease.”

“And we’re your men. You’re our woman,” Seth insisted.

“So, we’ll come down there next weekend with our trucks and move you here. We need your address,” Seth said.

“Wait. I won’t be ready for at least two weeks. I’ve got to pack up, and we have to get a secure network set up here so I can work from here,” she said.

“What do we have to do to get that going?” Cannon asked.

“I’ll work on that when I get home. I’ll just need to talk to my employer, and they’ll let me know who in your area they work with and go from there. The files are encrypted, so it’s not like a special network, just a secure one,” she said.

“Why don’t we come over there next weekend and help you pack? I hate for you to have to do all of it yourself,” Cannon said.

“I can do it myself. It’s not a lot, but it will take me some time. Two weeks isn’t a long time, guys. Chill. I said I’d move in with you. Have some patience,” Baily said.

“Can’t help it. We want you here now,” Seth said. “Don’t like being apart from you even for a day.”

She felt her heart melt a bit more for them. She was going to end up in love with them for sure if they kept it up. Then where would she be if they suddenly changed?

“I need to get on the road. I’ll text you to let you know I’m doing okay. You guys have a good day. Hope it doesn’t rain on you,” she said.

Seth pulled her in for a hot, wet kiss. He released her only to drop a soft kiss on the tip of her nose. “Be safe, babe. Come back to us.”

Cannon pulled her into his arms and kissed her long and sensuously. He pulled back, touching their foreheads together.

“Hate the idea of being away from you. I’ve loved having you here with us these last few days. Two weeks is going to seem like an eternity without you here. Be careful, sweetness.”

“I will. See you soon, Cannon,” she said.

Once she climbed in her car, she buckled up and carefully backed out of their drive and started the drive down the mountain. Once outside of Cozy, she felt a part of her break away and remain there. She would feel a little broken now until she returned. If she hadn’t known it before, she knew it now. She wouldn’t have been able to leave them for good no matter what she’d decided about moving in with them. Her heart had already decided they were hers.

The drive back to her place was long and tiring. She stopped frequently to relieve her bladder and text the guys that she was doing fine. They responded back to let her know they were thinking of her. She finally made it home and let the guys know she was there. She carried in her bags and left them unpacked in the bedroom to crawl into bed and go to sleep.

Sometime around two in the morning she woke up throwing up. Her morning sickness had decided on early morning for a change. By the time she was able to return to bed, it was almost three thirty. She slept in until nearly nine before getting back up. After she’d unpacked and done a load of laundry, Baily contacted her employer and explained that she was going to be moving and wanted to find out what the process would be to relocate so she could continue working.

It turned out that it wouldn’t be nearly as complicated as she’d thought. She drove to the nearest shipping company and bought enough boxes to pack her things and immediately began packing up her books. Then she worked for a while before packing some more. She went back and forth working for a few hours then packing for a few hours until nearly nine p.m. Then she ate a late dinner and collapsed into bed once more. Sure enough, her morning sickness came around two a.m. the next morning. Baily dragged herself back into bed at three and again slept until nearly nine the next morning.

For the next two days she repeated this over and over. Saturday she managed to pack most of the rest of her things. She spent Sunday resting and Monday morning she went to her doctor’s appointment. She pronounced her healthy, though she insisted that Baily needed to gain another four pounds to be on track. Then she did the ultrasound and showed Baily the baby’s heart and his fingers and toes.

“I’m sorry we can’t tell if it’s a boy or girl yet. The little stinker is turned wrong,” she said.

“That’s okay. I’m going to be moving to Cozy, Montana, in a week or so. Can I get a copy of my records sent to the doctor I go to there?” Baily asked.

“Of course. I hate to see you go, but I understand. Just sign a release form here, and when you pick your physician there, sign a form there and they will send for them for you,” she said.

“Thanks. And thanks for the pictures,” Baily said.

After she’d cleaned up and gotten dressed again, Baily checked out, signing the form, and hurried out to her car where she texted the guys and let them know how her doctor’s appointment had gone. They immediately texted back, asking when they could come get her.

This weekend. I’ll be all packed up and ready to come. I only have a few pieces of furniture I want to bring and about ten or twelve boxes, she texted.

We’ll bring a U-Haul truck, Cannon texted back.

Just a small one, she typed back.

  See you soon, sweetness.

Baily drove home feeling on top of the world. She was doing well, and her baby was healthy and looking perfect. She put the pictures of it on the refrigerator with a couple of magnets and stared it them for a long time with a goofy smile on her face before she finally stopped and pulled out the fixings for a salad.

She was hungry. She had some grilled chicken she added to it and sat down with her caffeine-free Diet Coke and ate thinking about the move the next weekend. She was equal parts excited and nervous. She was really doing it. She was moving in with two men. Two men she had only known for about a month. Well, she didn’t count the four months between when she’d slept with them and when she’d next seen them.

It was a huge step. One she prayed she wasn’t going to regret. When she’d finished eating, she rinsed out her bowl and set it in the sink then returned to her desk and got to work.

  * * * *

Seth backed the truck up to the apartment’s front door and stopped when Cannon held up his hand. They’d rented the smallest one they could find. Even though any of the guys from the mountain would have been glad to come and help, Baily had insisted that she didn’t have enough to need any help, so they’d opted to just come by themselves. She lived on the second floor. He hoped there wouldn’t be a lot of furniture.

Cannon knocked on her door when they reached hers. She threw it open with a huge smile.

  “Hey, guys. Come on in.”

“Hey, babe.” Seth kissed her and hugged her to him. Looking down, he frowned. “Is it me or is your belly poking out more?”

“No, it’s not you. The baby is growing. Come look at the pictures,” she said, pulling him into the kitchen.

She showed them both the sonogram pictures. Cannon pointed out the fingers.

“Do you see them? They’re perfect. You can count them, man,” Cannon said.

“But he isn’t turned so you can tell if it’s a boy or girl,” Seth said.

  “Maybe next time,” Baily said.

“Do you want to know?” Cannon asked.

“It doesn’t matter. It would be nice so we could go ahead and get the right clothes, but as long as he’s healthy, I’m good either way,” Baily said.

  “I agree,” Seth said.

“Okay, furniture first,” Cannon said. “Point out what you want to take with you. Remember you have an office to fill up. There’s nothing in it.”

She spent the next twenty minutes pointing out the furniture she wanted to take with her. The comfortable reading chair in her living room, the love seat, her desk and chair, and the little end table that went next to her reading chair, the two bookshelves in her office, and the small one in her bedroom.

  “That’s all?” Seth asked.

“Yeah. I told you I didn’t have much,” she said.

“I say let’s ditch the desk and buy a new one. This one is rickety and small anyway. Let’s go furniture shopping for a desk first before we load up the rest of your furniture,” Seth said.

  “I agree,” Cannon said.

“I can’t afford a new desk right now,” she said.

“We can. We want a nicer desk in the office, so we’ll pay for it,” Cannon said.

Baily sighed and shook her head. They were going to roll over her with every turn. She couldn’t say anything because it was their call since it was technically their office. She followed them out of the apartment and locked up then climbed into the cab of the U-Haul with Seth’s help.

They visited two office supply stores before they found what they wanted. Once it was loaded up on the truck along with a new office chair, they returned to her apartment and loaded up the rest of her furniture. Then they took on the boxes. She pointed out that her suitcases could go in her car, and they loaded them for her.

  “That everything?” Seth asked.

  “That’s everything,” she said.

“I’ll drive your car, and Cannon will drive the U-Haul,” Seth said.

“I can drive. There’s no need for you to,” Baily said.

“Don’t want you wearing yourself out. Besides, I can watch for when you get tired and we can stop for the night,” Seth said.

“Are you always going to be this bossy?” she asked.

“Probably. You knew that going into this. You can’t say you didn’t,” he said.

“You’re right,” she said with a sigh. “Fine. You drive.”

Cannon chuckled and walked back to the truck and climbed into the cab. Seth opened the passenger door for her to get inside the car. Then he walked around and got into the driver’s seat. He had to move it way back to accommodate his size.

“Man, you’re tiny.” Seth reset the side mirrors and the rearview mirror to his liking before he cranked the car and waved at Cannon that he was ready.

They drove for about two hours when Baily had to get them to take an exit so she could pee. Seth followed her into the truck stop and stood guard outside the women’s bathroom while she relieved herself and washed her hands like someone was going to kidnap her or something. Cannon took over watching over her while she wandered around the store so Seth could hit the bathroom next. By the time they returned to the road, she’d gotten two bottles of water, some peanut butter crackers, and a candy bar.

They made it another two hours before she had to have them pull over again. She told Seth she was sorry, but he just brushed it aside.

“The baby is probably pressing on your bladder. That and you’re drinking enough water to flood a small town,” he said with a grin.

“I can’t help it. I’m thirsty,” she said.

“I know, babe. Not complaining,” he said.

Once again he stood guard at the door while she took care of business. This time she didn’t get anything to eat but got a bottle of juice and a bottle of water. Once back on the road she found herself dozing off and on until dark. Then they stopped at a hotel, and Seth helped her out of the car. Cannon had already secured them a room for the night. She barely registered that they undressed her and helped her into the bed. All she knew was that she was supine in a comfortable enough bed between her two men and that was good enough for her.

  Chapter Eight

Monday morning Baily was up bright and early with the guys. She felt good and hadn’t woken up with morning sickness during the night for the first time in two weeks. She washed up and brushed her teeth before getting dressed and joining the guys in the kitchen.

“You’re up early, babe. You could have slept in, you know. You’ve had a big weekend,” Seth said.

“I’m awake. Can’t go back to sleep when I’m awake like this,” Baily said.

“What would you like for breakfast?” Cannon asked.

“Whatever you guys are having is fine with me,” she said.

“You sure?” Seth asked, narrowing his eyes. “We’re having scrambled eggs.”

  “I’m sure. I feel fine.”

“Okay. Eggs, bacon, and toast it is,” Cannon said. “Have a seat and I’ll bring it in to you.”

Seth joined her at the table, carrying three glasses of OJ. Cannon brought two cups of coffee then returned to the kitchen with Seth to bring in the plates of eggs, bacon, and buttered toast. Baily couldn’t help that her mouth watered at the sight of the food. She was starved.

They ate in silence as the men scarfed up their food as if it might disappear if they weren’t quick.

“Got to run, sweetness. We’ll keep in touch. Plan on us being late tonight. Got a big project on the other side of town,” Cannon said.

“So, like dark late?” she asked.

  “Probably,” Seth said.

“Okay. I’ll see you then,” she said.

They each kissed her bye, carrying their empty plates to the kitchen to rinse them and put them in the dishwasher before leaving. Baily finished her breakfast then did the same, adding the platters to the dishwasher then turning it on to wash. She carried a caffeine-free Diet Coke into the office with her and sat down to start to work.

She loved the new desk. It gave her so much more room to work with. No more crowded desktop to balance a book on one knee with another one propped up against the wall and her monitor. Now they were spread out on the desk so she could reference them if she needed them. Baily spent the next four and a half hours coding outpatient hospital visits before taking a break for lunch. She checked her phone and had a couple of texts from the guys. She texted them back and smiled at their messages.

They missed her and hoped she was having a productive morning. She told them she missed them and hoped they weren’t getting too hot. They’d said they carried coolers full of ice water with them so they could stay hydrated while they were out working.

She made a sandwich and added chips to it. Then she sat outside eating it and watched the squirrels play while she did. The fresh air made her sleepy. She really didn’t want to take a nap, but knew she needed to. Instead of going upstairs to get into bed, she opted for the couch in the living room. Hopefully she’d wake up sooner so she could get back to work sooner.

An hour and a half later she woke up and stretched. She felt refreshed and was soon back to coding again. When next she looked up, it was close to seven o’clock. She closed down the computer and stretched rubbing her belly. The little one had been overly active the last couple of days. She felt the tiny little feet moving around against her abdomen.

It wasn’t long before dark. She checked the fridge for what to cook for the men and figured that meatloaf was a good idea. It would be ready about the time they would be home. She quickly made it up and put it in the oven then boiled up the potatoes and set them aside on the stove. She would heat them back up once the men arrived home.

Just past dark, they opened the door and walked in cursing and growling as they pulled off their dirty boots and padded into the living room.

“Baily?” Seth called out. “You down here, babe?”

“I’m in the kitchen,” she called back.

“What are you cooking?” Cannon asked when he walked in moments later.

“Meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Should be ready by the time you shower, guys.”

“You’re spoiling us,” Seth said. “I like it.”

Baily laughed. “Your days are numbered. Once I get much farther along, I may not feel like cooking.”

“You don’t have to cook at all,” Cannon said. “That’s not why we wanted you to move in, no matter what I said before. I want to make sure you know that, Baily.”

“I know. I like to cook. I’m just not sure how I’m going to feel once I get bigger. This is all new to me,” she said.

“New for all of us,” Seth said.

“We’ll be back down as soon as we shower,” Cannon said.

“We’ll set the table when we get back,” Seth offered.

“Already set. All you have to do is show up and carry the dishes for me.”

  “Done,” Seth said.

She watched them walk away and couldn’t help but admire their asses as they walked. They had nicely rounded asses that were tight and well defined in their tight jeans. She wondered how they worked in such tight jeans.

That made her think about how hard they worked and their callused hands and how good those callused hands felt on her skin when they touched her. She sighed. Now she was turned on and they were about to eat dinner. Her pussy was wet and her nipples hard. She’d be lucky to make it through the meal without attacking one of them at this rate.

Baily checked the meatloaf and figured it would be ready by the time they returned downstairs. She turned the potatoes back on to get them hot again then, once they were boiling, turned them off and drained them to mash them.

They jogged back into the kitchen just as she opened the oven and started to take the meatloaf out. Cannon pulled the pot holders out of her hands.

“I’ve got this. You go sit down. We’ll bring everything to the table,” Cannon said.
