  Sunday…

  Journey

  Flip.

My finger moved across the iPad screen, but I wasn’t paying any attention to the online magazine I was pretending to read. Instead, I was watching the movers as they carried heavy furniture through the house and up the stairs. Every now and then, I would smile because these weren’t the movers you saw commercials on television for. Billionaires didn’t use those types of movers, the regular guy with a truck or a couple of strapping sons who were capable of getting your stuff from point A to point B. This was the white glove service. It involved at least six very capable men and two equally capable women who literally wore white gloves and paid extra attention to ensure the items they were moving were handled with the utmost care. They paid even more attention to their surroundings. You wouldn’t find a wall gouge or furniture ding when these people were done.

In this case, Nick’s things were getting all the love as they were carried in through the service entrance before being routed through the central part of the house. Some of it, anyway. The back staircase wasn’t large enough to handle all the furniture, so those extra large pieces were hauled up the main staircase. A matte black armoire, a matching dresser that was three drawers wide, plus a mirror that would be mounted above it, a king-size headboard that would take up an entire wall.

Keep in mind, the stairs were lined with glass and iron, so watching as they oh so carefully navigated to ensure no damage was done to the house or the furniture was like watching someone play Operation, expecting them to rub the sides and cause the buzzer to go off and the nose to light up red.

  Flip.

I was tasked with staying out of the way. I did offer to help, but the near-coronary I gave the woman told me I was better off sitting on the sidelines.

For the record, when I moved into my apartment, my parents hired regular movers. You know, the big strapping guys who weren’t paid nearly enough for the work they were expected to do, so they gave cursory glances to the hole they accidentally left or the box they didn’t mean to drop. Certainly not the fancy kind who staged everything and emptied all the boxes, neatly putting away every item. I was spoiled, sure, but not rotten.

Or maybe I was; I couldn’t be sure.

  Flip.

  “Whatcha reading?”

I squealed when a large body came from behind me, scaling the back of the sofa and landing on the cushion to my right with enough force to bounce me.

Hawk chuckled, then threw an arm over my shoulders and leaned in to press his lips to my cheek.

I showed him the tablet screen.

“Fifty ways to date multiple men at the same time,” Hawk drawled.

I laughed and smacked his thigh. “If only. I should write Cosmo and suggest it, though.”

  Flip.

The movement had become routine, so I set the iPad on the coffee table since I wasn’t paying attention anyway.

“You make it look easy enough.” Hawk leaned in, his arm tightening around my shoulders.

I relaxed against him. “Not even close.”

Dating four men was far more complex than I imagined. Then again, I never imagined doing it in the first place. Yet, here I was, living—for lack of a better word—with four men with whom I was currently having intimate relationships. Those encounters had started as sexy, seductive, one-on-one events that resulted in mind-blowing orgasms. But as of yesterday, they’d taken a wickedly hot turn. Granted, it was only a one-time thing. So far. I won’t lie and say I wasn’t hoping for another because I was. In fact, that was what I’d been fantasizing about when the movers arrived. The fantasy died quickly when I realized the house was overrun with people, hence the flipping through the online magazine.

  “You seen Creed?” Hawk asked.

I nodded toward the hallway. “In the office.”

  “And Nick?”

“In his room. Supervising the movers.”

  “Garrison?”

I looked around. “Go od question.”

Hawk glanced at his watch. “He’s probably camped out in the media room watching the Formula 1 race.”

I peered at him. “We should go find him.”

The smirk I received was wicked and dirty and one of the many reasons I fell in love with this man.

Hawk grabbed my hand and hopped to his feet, dragging me along behind him. He was in a good mood today, which hadn’t been the case since the night we had dinner with my parents. Hawk had done phenomenally well if I did say so myself, and I’d told him so. My parents loved him, but they had before I started dating him. My dads had given him crap at first, but I would’ve been worried if they hadn’t. My mother had mentioned him at least half a dozen times since, wanting to know when I intended to bring him back. Like I said, they liked him. I assured her we would come back soon, but I wasn’t making any promises on when or which of my men I would bring along next time. We were still sorting through what these relationships actually looked like.

When we reached the media room, Hawk put his finger to his lips in the universal sign for quiet. I nodded, then followed him inside. The fancy theater room was lit by an enormous projection screen, which currently showed race cars speeding around a track. There was no sound, and I learned a moment later that was because Garrison was sporting over-the-ear headphones.

The room was designed with three rows of plush leather recliners, each row containing three. The chairs were connected by wide leather-wrapped consoles with cup holders and room for popcorn or nachos or whatever people ate when they camped out for a movie.

When I came into view, moving down the second row, Garrison’s head turned. He smiled, removing his headphones and setting them down beside him before patting his thighs. I didn’t resist, falling into him as if I belonged there.

“Whatcha doin’, girl?” he prompted, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me against him.

Hawk joined us, flopping into the chair on Garrison’s right.

  “I was watching the movers.”

  “Yeah?”

I nodded, staring at the screen as the camera offered a view of the track from the driver’s perspective. “I can’t imagine they’re cheap.” I turned and looked at Garrison. “Did you know they actually wear white gloves?”

He chuckled, then tapped a button on a remote that brought the sound into the room. From the discreetly placed speakers mounted throughout, you could hear the commentators talking, plus the roar of engines and intermittent radio conversations between the drivers and their teams. It felt as though I was there, watching the race live, only without the horde of people and the sun beating down on me.

Garrison’s arms tightened around me and another set of hands curled under my calves and shifted my legs so they were draped over the large cushioned console that also served as an armrest. Hawk proceeded to massage my feet, his attention on the screen.

For several minutes, the three of us remained like that, Garrison holding me on his lap, Hawk rubbing my feet. It felt odd but surprisingly comfortable to be here with both of them. Ever since I witnessed them having sex on Garrison’s bed, I’d wondered what it would’ve been like if I’d been with them that night. If I hadn’t merely watched from the doorway as Garrison fucked them both to orgasm. Even the memory was hot enough to make me shiver.

  “You cold, darlin’?”

  “Nope.”

I rested my head on his shoulder and stared at his handsome face. Even his profile was ridiculously appealing. His dark hair was tousled as though he hadn’t bothered combing it when he woke up. The scruff on his jaw was darker than usual, something I learned was the case on the weekends. During the week, Garrison was the epitome of professionalism, always clean-shaven and wearing one of his expensive suits. But on the weekend, all bets were off. He was the sexy, small-town cowboy who’d captivated me from our first conversation when he cut the line at the coffee shop.

I couldn’t help thinking about yesterday morning when I woke up to find him reclining on the sofa watching National Geographic. The events that followed were the hottest of my life. Granted, most of my sexual experience had been clocked with one of these four men over the past month and a half. And since they all lived under the same roof, it didn’t surprise me that it had happened. The incident on the sofa, I mean. The question I had was whether they intended for it to happen again or if it’d been a one-time thing. I hadn’t had the opportunity to talk to any of them about it. Not at length, anyway.

  “What’s on your mind, darlin’?”

“Sex,” I said simply to see if I’d get a reaction out of him.

Both of their heads snapped in my direction, hot, hungry gazes sliding over my face.

  I grinned. “Made you look.”

Hawk barked a laugh, then tickled my feet. I squealed and thrashed, attempting to get away, but they held me firmly in place, draped across Garrison’s lap.

When we settled, they went back to watching the screen while I observed the two of them. I found their interactions interesting. From the outside looking in, it wasn’t obvious that they were in love with each other. In public, they were friendly but not affectionate. Even at home, they didn’t hang on one another the way a normal couple might. There were no casual touches or stolen kisses. They were chummy, not cuddly. I wasn’t sure why that was. After all, they were both touchy-feely with me. I liked that they were because I didn’t get the same casual intimacy with Creed or Nick. Of course, my relationship with Nick was too new to know whether that would change. But I knew for a fact Creed kept things platonic unless we were behind closed doors. Granted, we weren’t exactly on great terms at the moment. I was upset that he’d spent three days avoiding me, claiming he’d been here the entire time. Confronting him about it only resulted in some of the best orgasms of my life, but sex didn’t resolve the issues, no matter how good it was.

I was confident we would get past it. I wasn’t going anywhere, and neither was Creed. Thankfully, he was the only one who was challenging to communicate with. Garrison ran a close second, but at least he wasn’t hiding from me anymore. Nick, on the other hand, had won the award for most elusive since he’d managed to dodge me for an entire week. Then there was Hawk. I never had to wonder how he felt. He ensured everyone knew.

I liked the differences between them. Their demeanors, their reactions, the way they treated me. It was likely the reason I’d fallen in love with all of them. I figured there would’ve been no point if they’d been carbon copies of one another. One would’ve been plenty, but I was the lucky girl who’d somehow captured the attention of four incredibly smart, ridiculously sexy men.

A big, warm hand grazed my right leg, slowly inching higher. Over my calf, my knee, the inside of my thigh. It was a simple touch, yet it lit me up from the inside, sparking all the nerve endings in my body to life.

“Ah, Jesus,” Garrison groaned when his fingers dipped beneath the wide leg of my shorts. “You ain’t got on panties, girl.”

I chuckled, but it was carried off by a moan when he slipped his finger along the seam of my pussy. “I’m not wearing a bra, either.”

In my defense, I hadn’t bothered getting dressed this morning. I was wearing my pajamas, which consisted of a pair of cotton shorts and an oversized sweatshirt. I’d slept in Hawk’s bed last night, so I hadn’t been wearing anything. It wasn’t until I woke up alone—which only happened on the weekend since he taught classes at the gym—that I went to my bedroom to get dressed. After showering, I decided there was no need to bother getting all dolled up since there was nothing on my calendar for the day. I usually spent most of my Sundays preparing for the upcoming week—shopping, laundry, that sort of thing. Since I wasn’t at my apartment, my routine was off.

The fingers between my legs caressed me lightly, but Garrison wasn’t teasing me to orgasm. He seemed rather content to fondle me while he watched the race. I couldn’t say I minded, but I wanted more.

I arched my foot to get Hawk’s attention. He finally glanced my way, his eyes lingering on my face briefly, but the moment he noticed Garrison’s hand between my legs, his attention shifted.

Wanting to assure him I was okay if he wanted to join the action, I drew my foot back, bending my knee and letting it fall outward. When I did, Garrison tugged my pajama shorts to the side, giving Hawk an unobstructed view of my pussy. No doubt he could see the evidence of my arousal. There was no way for me to hide it.
