I’ve used the name Hadrian in the story, but he was more properly called Publius Aelius Hadrianus (POO-blee-yuss EE-lee-yuss Had-ree-ARN-uss). The most famous Roman of all was the man we usually call Julius Caesar. But his proper name was Gaius Julius Caesar – pronounced GAI-yuss YOO-lee-yuss KAI-zar.
