The girls we rescued in an attempt to free Paige agreed to testify against Vance.

And after learning about his arrest, Paige and I speak with the local Breckenridge Police Department regarding Nanny Agency, Inc..

We both have suspicions that the business is a cover.

Well, I have suspicions that’s how he is actively recruiting young women into his human trafficking operation.

Paige thinks the whole place is a front for laundering money.

  She isn’t wrong, either.

While I don’t have any direct proof, we speak with the local sheriff, and they are able to bring in a young female FBI agent from out of town to go in undercover.

At the same time, the FBI also investigates Serene and Laura’s murders further and are able to tie Vance to the murder weapon.

All in all, there is enough evidence gathered to bring down Vance, Nanny Agency, Inc., along with his second in command, Rafael, and one of his capos, Marco.

At least Paige and I both get a little closure.

And thankfully, while Paige had reservations about an inside man, we’ve seen no evidence that anyone infiltrated our organization or the family.

  Vance is a liar.

  Always has been.

  Always will be.

There’s relief in knowing my men can be trusted.

Nova has grown so much, started kindergarten, and is even more chatty than she used to be before her mother’s death.

She’s made half a dozen new friends, and while I’m cautiously letting them come over to play, I appreciate that she’s a little social butterfly at school.

I’m sure I’ll have my hands busy as she gets older, especially with the boys. I do not look forward to her dating.

Paige keeps reminding me that it’s years away, but I can’t help but worry about the type of troublesome young men she’ll attract.

I look at myself in the mirror and know that I want better for my daughter.

She’s not to date anyone in the mafia.

  Ever.

My relationship with Paige has blossomed over the past sixteen months.

I trust her implicitly with my daughter and my heart.

Dare I say I love her.

And I want to marry her.

  Make her mine.

  Forever.

I intend to claim her, worship her, and make her part of the Ricci family.

Paige has moved from her adjoining bedroom with Nova into my room, which was my suggestion within the first month of us dating, so that we wouldn’t have to rush to put on clothes and worry about a little intruder discovering our little secret.

Which isn’t much of a secret.

  Nova knows.

She snuck in the first night we slept together and climbed onto the bed to wake us up by jumping on the mattress. Thankfully, we were buried under the sheets.

  Dante knows.

He heard us through the walls the first night we moved into my bedroom together.

  We weren’t exactly quiet.

  Nikki knows.

I’m not sure how or when she figured it out, but I knew our secret was out as soon as Dante mentioned it to me.

All the guards know that Paige is mine, and if they so much as look at her the wrong way, they’ll have to answer to me.

  Protective much?

Yes, but it comes with the territory of being second in command. I must be ready if something ever happens to Dante, and if it does and he dies, I swear I’ll bring him back just to kill him myself.

That’s how much I want to be don.

Thankfully, our business is cranking along just fine with Vance out of the picture.

We still have to be cautious with the FBI in our backyard investigating the DeLucas.

Vance is currently awaiting trial. I suspect he’ll be dead long before the verdict is read. Cowards like him who prey on innocent women and children don’t survive long in prison.

Men like me end their life.

Lucky for him, I’m on the outside. Though, that doesn’t mean I don’t know a few men in lockup behind bars, willing to do me a favor.

  They owe me.

  And I intend on collecting.

Thank you for reading Captive Vow. Continue the adventure with Savage Vow.

  I’m ordered to execute her…

I never expected to see her again.

We shared one wild night several years ago.

She had no idea that I work for the mafia.

I’m a savage, ruthless killer, but she’s innocent.

  She saves lives.

  I take them.

  She’s a pediatric oncology nurse.

Could she be any more of a saint?

She entered the wrong hotel room.

  There can’t be any witnesses.

  My boss wants her dead.

Her life is in my hands.

I intend to make her my wife to protect her.

She’ll hate me but at least I can keep her safe.
