Make her bleed, p.10
Make Her Bleed, page 10
Well, fuck. No sight has ever been sexier than her pleasuring herself.
"What happened to the shower?" I growl as I stroll over to her, gripping her knees. She stares up at me and pleasure bursts through her eyes.
"I know you're going to want to fuck me in the shower. Might as well screw before getting in there." She whimpers as I watch her fingers circle her clit and push in and out of her soaking pussy.
She's so fucking tempting.
I push her hand away, drop to my knees, and take a nice, big taste of her sweet nectar.
I love the way she tastes. It's the sweetest fruit imaginable.
She gasps loud and knots her fingers in my hair as I lazily run my tongue over her engorged clit, teasing her, taking her, waiting for her to beg.
"Oh, god, baby," she cries out in pleasure. "Please, baby."
There's the begging I need.
I give it to her exactly how she needs it until she's writhing in ecstasy and desperate for me to give her all of me.
Aria is curled up on my lap as we all watch the Ninja Turtle movies in the living room with the guys. Rowe is still giving me nasty looks but I don't give a damn. Aria is mine, and unless he acts like a man, she's not going to be his.
She's comfortable with me. She knows I see her for who she is, not the way she looks, and I respect her.
After we took our shower, I gave her a pair of my boxers and a T-shirt I keep here for overnight stays. She appreciated the clothes since she doesn't have any of her own and Kai only permitted her a shirt.
Kai is starting to really piss me off and he isn't even here.
We're finishing the first movie when the front door opens. First, Kai steps inside, carrying a duffle bag over his shoulder. His eyes immediately settle on me and Aria, darkening on sight.
I feel the way Aria stiffens and I tighten my arm around her waist. Her hand clutches mine so hard her nails break the skin.
She's fucking petrified of him.
"Princess, you have visitors," he announces before pushing the door open more, showing both Kaylee and Coach Patrick in the doorway.
Kaylee rushes in like she always does and Aria jumps off my lap and runs to her best friend.
"Kaylee!" she cries as she hugs her best friend.
My chest aches knowing exactly why Kai brought Kaylee here. It makes me sick. He wants to destroy Aria and he's already doing it. Why can't this be enough for him?
"I've missed you, girl," Kaylee says like there's nothing wrong at all.
I've wondered why all the girls that Kai made us hurt always acted like nothing ever happened afterward and Kaylee's behavior stumps me even further. She's received more abuse than any other girl who willingly walked through those doors but she's acting like nothing is wrong.
At least Aria had the sense to try to run and defend herself when she realized where she was.
I'll never understand women like Kaylee.
"Dad!" Aria exclaims and goes to see her father but Kai intercepts her.
My nerves kick into overdrive when he tosses her over his shoulder in the blink of an eye. If it wasn't for Dax grabbing my arm, I would've jumped up to help her.
"Kai, put me the fuck down!" she shrieks with anger across her face.
"Shut up, princess," he growls before smacking her ass.
"Ow! You are so completely unbalanced, you sociopathic sadist! I'm not a fucking rag doll!" she yells before punching him in the back. Like expected, he doesn't flinch.
Kai never flinches as if nothing affects him in any way.
"Keep it up and you'll make it worse for yourself," he warns as he carries her up the stairs.
"I hate you!" she hisses.
"I don't give a fuck!"
Then, they disappear into her room and I feel absolutely worthless. I want to protect her but when it comes to Kai, no one can.
"Don't do something stupid to get yourself killed," Dax warns as Kaylee stands in the middle of the room, trying to ignore that her best friend was just carted off.
CHAPTER FIFTEEN
ARIA
"What the hell is your problem?" I gasp as he tosses me down on the bed, my body bouncing with the impact.
Everything was okay until Kai walked through the front door. Knox has been so incredible and the others have been fun to be around as always. It has been a good day.
Until Kai had to ruin it with his caveman mentality.
He drops the duffle bag and grabs my feet as I try to crawl away from him, yanking me toward him.
"You know exactly what my problem is, princess," he growls, his dark eyes warning me to behave.
How can I behave when he's acting like a dickhead?
"Obviously, I don't or I wouldn't be asking."
He grabs me by my throat and presses me down on the bed, straddling my waist for full control.
"I think you need to be reminded that you're mine. They only get to touch you if I say so. The little fling you've had going on with Knox ends right fucking now," he presses angrily.
"What fling?" I lie out of instinct. The danger in his eyes has me on edge and I can't take back the lie even though his eyes say he doesn't believe it at all.
"You think I don't have cameras all over this house? You think I don't know you spent half the day fucking him? Don't you dare lie to me. If you don't adhere to my rules, there will be consequences, and you won't be the one paying the price. I'll make sure he disappears so quickly your head will spin. His body will rot and no one will ever find where I put him," he threatens.
Every cell in my body turns cold. He's threatening to kill Knox.
"You'd kill your star quarterback? Your friend?"
"He isn't my friend. He's a means to an end and, currently, that end is keeping your ass in line. Keep it up and I'll make him step five. I'll make you watch as I end his existence. I will kill each and every one of them until your only connection to the outside world is me." His threat is clear, and I can tell he means every word.
He would kill them all to isolate me and make me suffer.
I care about all of them, and for him to do this when I care about him as well is beyond cruel.
"You're a monster," I spit as tears sting my eyes.
"You've yet to meet the monster. If you think this is bad, you haven't seen anything yet."
I want to fight off the tears from his cruelty but I can't. I've never allowed myself to hold someone close to my heart and let my guard down but I did with Knox because I thought he was safe from Kai.
Nobody is safe from him, definitely not me.
"I was wrong. You're not a sociopath. You're a psycho. To be willing to do this to someone who has loved you their whole life, you couldn't be anything but," I hiss at him.
Disgust flashes in his eyes but its momentary. Why did he have that look in his eyes? Was it because I used the word love?
Did he think I didn't love him? He was a vital part of my childhood and he became my friend since moving to Royal City. It's not like I was saying I'm in love with him. I couldn't be, especially with the things he's done to me.
"That's right, princess. I'm a psycho and I'll do whatever it takes to make you submit to me. You'll do as I say or suffer the consequences. Got it?"
He leaves me zero leeway in this. If I don't go with whatever he says, he'll hurt Knox and the others.
"Yes," I whimper in submission.
He lets out a warning growl before he flips me over and yanks down the boxers Knox gave me to wear. I try to escape him but he just forces me down harder.
"I was being nice when I let you give your consent before. That's a privilege you have to earn," he warns in my ear.
"Kai, please don't do this," I beg right before he forces my legs apart. I try to kick him but that just earns me an excruciatingly painful slap across my ass. I let out a loud scream as I cry. "Kai, stop, please!"
"Shut the fuck up," he growls. "You wanted to be a little slut for Knox, and now you get to pay the price. I'd say this won't hurt a bit but it's going to hurt … really … fucking … bad."
He thrusts hard inside me, and pain surges through every inch of my body, a wail of agony screaming past my lips.
It would've hurt bad enough if it was my pussy but that wasn't his intended destination. He roughly took my ass without lubrication. He might as well have raped me using a sandpaper condom. It would've hurt a lot less.
My tears spill down my face as the pain gets to be so much, I lose consciousness multiple times, and I think each time only lasts a few seconds but I’m not sure.
After what has to be over ten minutes of unbearable torture, he stops and pulls out, leaving me sobbing against the sheets. I turn my head to the side and watch as Kai walks within my line of sight, holding a white pipe, coated in blood.
It’s the same pipe I threatened him with when I woke up after the crash.
Kai didn't just rape me. He fucking sodomized me.
He uses a dirty rag and wipes the blood from the pipe before tossing it on the bed in front of me.
I can't move. My body hurts too bad and the pain still tears through me.
"Get up," he demands as he starts wiping the blood from his hands.
"Fuck … you," I rasp as my body convulses.
There's nothing he can do to me that's worse than that, right? At least, I don't think there is.
"That's strike one. Do you want to go through that again? Get the fuck up," he breathes the words with malicious intent.
I don't have a choice. I can't go through that again.
I won't survive.
I push my hands down on the bed to try to push myself up but once my feet are flat on the ground, the pain pierces through me again, paralyzing me. It shoots up my spine and down my legs.
"I said get up," he commands again.
"I can't," I cry.
There's a momentary flash of emotion in his eyes but he masks it with anger as he pulls me from the bed, one hand in my hair and the other on my arm. The pain jolts again until he pushes me against the bathroom door.
"Take off the fucking shirt," he demands as I cling to the doorframe, trying like hell to stay on my feet. The doorknob supports my weight as I watch the vein in his forehead tick. "Don't make me ask you again."
He didn't ask the first time.
Using only one hand, I yank the shirt over my head, and it drops to my wrist aiding me against the door.
Kai tosses a new shirt at me, one that looks more like a nightgown. With my breathing ragged, I force the shirt down my body before collapsing to the ground in pain.
"One day … it might not be today … maybe not even tomorrow … but someday … you'll burn in hell. I can't wait … for that day to come." My voice breaks as I force the words out before looking up at him with pain-filled tears streaking down my face.
"Keep waiting, princess," he growls before grabbing my arm and yanking me to my feet.
My legs keep giving out and, when we make it to the stairs, he pushes me down the steps. I'm not even aware enough to scream, knowing that kind of move could easily kill me.
He doesn't seem to care today.
Bam. My shoulders, my back, my head, my butt, and my legs make impact as I roll down the steps until I end up a lump at the bottom step.
"Aria!" I hear my name but I can't move. The pain is too great. That's all I feel. All I know. "Oh, my god. What did he do to you!" The voice speaks again but I can't even open my eyes.
"Back away from her, Knox!" Kai snaps but I can't see him. My vision is black and it doesn't even matter if I'm blind now.
"What the hell did you do to her? Why is she bleeding? Aria, look at me."
Even in as much pain as I am in, I have one central thought that burns bright in my mind outside of all the agony and darkness.
"Knox, don't," I say, my voice breaking rapidly.
"How could you throw her down the fucking stairs like that? You could've killed her, Harris!"
Dad?
"Back off. This is my show, got it? I'm going to do whatever the fuck I want to, whatever I need to, and no one and I mean no one will get in my way. You know who will suffer if they do? She will. Every scream, every cry, every ounce of blood spilled from her body will be on your hands. Do I make myself clear?" Kai hisses with dominance radiating so strong I feel it in my bones.
He'll continue to torture me as long as anyone fights him. I'll never be free of this agony as long as others care about my safety.
My mind takes in the lack of light in my vision and fear grips me. I realize it's dark. Everything is dark.
My heart hammers away as I start hyperventilating. I'm deathly scared of the dark, always have been.
I cry again, unable to form the words to say why I'm so frightened now. It's not Kai's words. It's this, right here.
The darkness suffocates me.
"Get the fuck up, princess," Kai hisses at my crumbled form.
It's only a few seconds before I'm pulled from the floor. My feet are off the floor and my stomach is pressed against something, presumably Kai's shoulder. It's his favorite place to carry me.
"I'm sorry!" I cry to everyone besides Kai. I hate that they have to see this, whatever he's doing to me, but I barely get the words out before everything shakes then my body is lifted off his shoulder and my body connects with the ground.
"Enjoy the dark, princess," Kai growls before I hear a door slam.
Does he know he blinded me?
I have no idea where I am but I lay there and cry my eyes out for so long.
Sleep takes me before I wake up, still in horrible pain. Everything is still so dark.
I can't tell if I fall back asleep with everything so silent. I'm losing my grip on reality.
I need to do something to keep me sane. I need some noise so instead of accepting the psychosis that's sure to come, I sing the sea shanty I was taught long ago.
CHAPTER SIXTEEN
KAI
Throughout the rest of the day, Knox consistently gives me dirty looks but he knows better than to say anything. He knows he's the cause of Aria's misery. If he steps a toe out of line, I won't hesitate to hurt her again.
I'm not stupid. I know all of the guys care about her and hate seeing her suffer, but they won't challenge me. They know if they do, she will agonize over the consequences.
I prepare her food before heading to the basement door. As soon as I crack it open, I hear something that shocks and amazes me. It's the sound of her singing.
"She'd not been...two weeks from shore... when down on her...a right whale bore...the captain called...all hands and swore...he'd take that whale in tow…" Her voice was like velvet and silk. Soft and elegant.
I move to her but her eyes stare into nothingness like she's lost in her own head but she's stopped singing. Her skin is nearly translucent with lack of life. If she hadn't just been singing, I might've assumed she was dead.
"Where did you hear that?" I ask but though she noticeably gulps and her eyes remain far off.
I heard that song many times growing up, and a red hot fire smokes in my lungs at the realization that maybe, just maybe, Aria heard this song from Lillian … somehow.
She doesn't speak, but tension in her body shows my presence affects her in a way I'm not used to.
"Tell me, Aria," I warn.
"Why?" she whispers fearlessly. "You've already taken everything from me. No matter what I say, it won't change anything. If you want to hurt me, you're going to do it. I'm just your punching bag. You use me to punish everyone else. My dad, Knox, Blaine … Whoever you're mad at now, use that justification instead of the sea shanty my friends back in Little Rock taught me."
I don't believe who she says taught it to her but I do believe she's lost all will to fight. She has conceded, just like I need her to.
"Luckily for you, I'm not down here to punish you. Here," I say, trying to hand her the plate but she doesn't move. "Take it, princess," I warn.
"Take what?" she asks, sounding clueless but it had to be bullshit.
"The plate in front of you," I hiss in warning.
"I can't," she mumbles, reaching her fingers out in front of her. She feels around, completely missing the plate.
"What fucking game are you playing at?" I growl, cautioning her with my tone not to fuck with me.
"None. I can't see."
My heart nearly burst through my ribs from it dropping so suddenly, a reaction to her words.
"Oh, really?" I huff sarcastically. "And how long have you been unable to see?"
I'm not putting up with this shit.
"Since you pushed me down the stairs," she mutters, her breathing level.
I set down the plate, set on proving that she's bullshitting. I wind back my fist and swing it to her face but halt right as my fist almost connects with her nose.
Shock cuts through me as she doesn't react to the move, not even a simple flinch. Everyone reacts, unless they have no way of knowing it's coming. It's an automatic response.
Aria isn't lying. She's fucking blind.
"Fucking hell," I curse. I slide my hand under her head and gently pull her to sit up where she hisses in pain.
"What's happening?" she questions as I slide my hand down her back to lift her into my arms but I feel something wet and sticky.
I pull my hand back and gaze down at the black and red streaks covering my hand.
This isn't blood from yesterday. This is fresh from within the last few hours.
"You're still bleeding," I gape at her blank expression.
"That explains the constant throbbing," she quips sarcastically as her eyelids start to flutter weakly.
"Don't you dare go to sleep, you hear me?" I demand, a flash of emotion I haven't felt in decades racing through me.
Panic.
The same girl who I held in my arms moments after she came screaming into this world, looking at me with big, blue eyes is hanging on by a thread. And it’s all my fault. I’ve put her life in danger.
