Finally, he gets up. “I know it’s a lot to take in. But if you think of something later, you can always talk to us. How about I make us all a sandwich? Cheese spread, Jamie?”
Jamie nods eagerly. He gets irrationally excited about cheese spread. He’d have it on his Cornflakes if he could.
“Izzy, what about you?”
