The cum inside me part shakes my brain out of the horny fog when I suddenly become aware of the fact that he didn’t use a condom. I fail to form a sentence when his mouth covers my nipple, teeth nibbling, as his hand kneads my other breast.
Holy shit. How can he drain me completely to leave me sated and the next moment he fires my body right back up to skyrocket with lust?
“Wait,” I manage to moan. “Condom. Safe sex. We didn’t use….shit. Keep sucking. Hell. Oh. My. Gosh. Your tongue is my own personal mini vibrator.”
His chuckle fans over my nipple and I have to blink a few times to stare at him. He crawls up my body and crashes his mouth over mine, that devilish tongue swirling against mine and I can still taste myself but I couldn’t care less.
He rips his mouth away and places his forehead against mine. “I’m clean, just got tested. I don’t want anything in between us. I also don’t care if you’re on the pill or not. The thought of you round with my child makes me hard. I want to own every part of you, want everything with you. I’m all in.”
His hips shift and it’s as if his dick, still inside my pussy, twitches with the reminder that he’s in fact still in. This man is overwhelming. Possessive, protective, overbearing, but straight forward and honest in his wants and needs. There is no hiding or beating around the bush and I have to admit that I like it.
“All in,” I murmur and challenge him by bringing my hands to his face to pull him close and kiss the hell out of him.
CHAPTER EIGHT
– MACCOY –
Content as a Cheshire cat. That’s me. I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and enjoying every second of the ride. My old lady is quite the prize of life. She’s the one and only person who complements living in this fucked-up world.
Okay, I admit, I might still be wrapped in a lust fog created by two rounds of fucking but I’m pretty sure I’m going to keep this mindset for a lifetime. Fucking is fucking but being inside Delphine is utter rapture, unlike anything I’ve experienced.
I thought the first time was built-up bliss but the second time was even better and I still haven’t had my fill. Pretty damn sure her pussy has my dick addicted and it’s the best thing ever.
She’s currently draped over my chest. She dozed off a few minutes ago, completely sated. The restlessness in my bones is somewhat faded but it’s still lingering with the threat still hanging above all our heads.
Abiel is up to something and the past few days he has had men entering the casino on several occasions. We’ve kept an eye on things but this building is massive, as is the group of personnel and not to mention, the flow of guests and people going in and out every minute of the day.
Today in church we even discussed the option of attacking Abiel and taking him and his son out along with a handful of men loyal to him just to take this damn bullseye off Delphine.
Fucked-up thing is…we do have some information but don’t know what we’re walking into which basically means it could turn into a bloodbath. Casualties on our side as well as Abiel’s but it’s too much of a risk if we’re hit hard with losses so we are unable to protect Delphine and ourselves if he strikes back.
Basically, we don’t have any other option than to sit tight and wait until either he strikes or we have an opportunity to take him out clean. We’ve put brothers on the fucker these past few days to gain information on his whereabouts and to find out how many men he still has working for him.
I wish there was a way to speed things up. I do not like my woman being at risk, especially when she’s out in the open all of the time. I mean, I get it. She wants to work in the business she grew up in which is a foundation of who she is and I fully support her.
While at the same time all it takes is one fucker to slip through the barriers we put in place for protection and snatch her life away in the blink of an eye. That thought right there terrifies the fuck out of me. Something I’m unfamiliar with. I’ve always balanced life without a single thought of doubt. For any one of my brothers no matter what. Yet now? I feel as if I’m not one person but something more.
She’s a part of me and I have to weigh in not only her safety but mine as well since I crave to spend each minute of the life we’re graced with together. I guess it’s what folks would refer to as love but that’s just a word linked to shit.
How I feel about her might be considered love but for me it’s the reason for living, it’s as simple as that. My phone rings and I snatch it up from the bedside table, mentally releasing a string of curses when I see it’s my prez.
I was hoping on a quiet night with my woman, and there shouldn’t be a reason for him to call me so I know there’s something wrong. I grunt after I hit the screen with my thumb.
“Do you have eyes on Elodie? She was supposed to meet me over an hour ago and she isn’t answering my calls,” Alcide snaps.
“I’ve been in my woman’s penthouse since we left Elodie in the pit. Walton had eyes on her when we left,” I rumble and Delphine stirs.
She lifts her head and blinks a few times.
Alcide’s voice is loud when he says, “He’s not picking up his phone either. I’ve sent five brothers over to check but I have a bad fucking feeling about this.”
“What’s going on?” Delphine murmurs.
I can’t lie to her. “Elodie is missing. She told Alcide she’d be there an hour ago but never showed.”
Her eyes widen and she pushes off me to jump out of bed. “Tell him we’ll be right there after we check the casino.”
“You hear my old lady?” I question.
Alcide grunts and I hang up to get dressed. Delphine is silent while she throws on her clothes, but I can tell by the look on her face her mind is running a hundred miles an hour. I’m not liking the fear sliding across her face but right now we don’t know shit about the situation.
We’re ready to leave when my phone rings again. It’s Jarvis’ name flashing on my screen and I answer while we close the door of Delphine’s penthouse behind us.
“Found Walton. Meet me at the personnel entrance near the elevator,” Jarvis says.
“Be there in five,” I tell him and disconnect.
His voice tells me shit hit the fan but I try to keep a straight face.
“Something bad happened, right?” Delphine whispers.
At this moment I wish I could lie to her but I never do so I sure as fuck ain’t gonna start now. “Yeah, princess. Brace yourself because I have a gut feeling it’s about to go from bad to worse.”
She swallows hard and gives me a tight nod. Fuck. This woman has no clue how damn perfect she is. I’m the vice president of an MC and her father might be the president, but she wasn’t raised in the MC life.
Yet somehow it runs in her DNA. Being fierce in any situation is carved into her flesh and it fucking shows in the way she raises her chin as if to mentally prepare herself for what’s to come.
“Stay behind me and trust me and my brothers to keep you safe and end this shit, okay?” I gently tell her.
Her eyes find mine. “If there’s anyone who is motivated and capable of bringing this to an end it’s you and my father, along with the MC you’re both running.”
I slide my arm around her waist and pull her close. Kissing the top of her head I rumble, “You’re the center of our universe and my one and only. The devil himself will find himself face-first in a bucket of ice before I let anyone risk a chance at a future with you.”
We break apart and head for the personnel entrance. Delphine fusses with her phone when I spot Jarvis. The second I see Walton lying in a pool of blood is when I turn in an effort to spare Delphine the sight but her eyes are already locked on his body.
To my surprise, she crashes against me and starts to sob. Now this woman is tough as nails and might break down and cry with the loss that keeps hitting her but this feels off. My suspicion is confirmed when her whispered words cause my blood to turn cold inside my veins.
“I got a text message demanding for me to meet Abiel alone or he will kill Elodie.”
I tighten my hold on her and kiss the top of her head to murmur, “You’re so fucking strong and smart. We will handle it together. Bear with me, okay?”
“Okay,” she croaks and steps back, wipes her tears, and points at the body while she says to Jarvis, “Sorry. I guess I freaked out a bit.”
Jarvis’ gaze slides to me while one of his eyebrows heads for the ceiling. Yeah, he’s not buying her reaction one damn bit. Though, we know her while others who haven’t been close to her wouldn’t know she’s tough as nails.
It’s probably why she reacted this way to make sure Abiel wouldn’t be suspicious. It certainly gave her a cover to relay the text message she received to get rid of us. Thinking fast, all that pops up is the need for Prez to get in on this.
“Are you able to handle it here? I want to get my woman out of here, she doesn’t need to see this shit.”
Jarvis nods but Delphine shakes her head. “No. You stay. I can go to my room and let you deal with this.”
I know she’s faking it because there’s no way she will leave on her own. If she wanted to she wouldn’t have told me about the message but skipped that piece of information to play the martyr and offer herself to save Elodie.
“No fucking way, you’re coming with me,” I growl and grab her arm, jerking her in the direction of the door, making it clear for anyone watching the camera feed to see I’m not giving her a choice.
I head straight for my bike. Her lips stay sealed and so do mine as we ride to the clubhouse. Parking out front, we jump off and jog into the building. Delphine shoves her hands into her jeans and pulls out her phone, throws it on the couch and stalks into church.
I do the same, just to be sure no one is listening in, and follow her inside while Alcide is looking confused but walks into church behind us and closes the door.
“What the fuck is going on?” he questions.
Delphine is looking at me while she has her arms crossed in front of her chest.
I release a deep sigh and tell him, “My old lady received a message, demanding for her to meet Abiel alone or he will kill Elodie.”
“Fuuuuuck,” Alcide hisses underneath his breath. “I felt it in my gut something was wrong when she was late.” He pins me with a fierce stare. “I’m going on a suicide mission and kill them all with my bare hands if she doesn’t get back here alive. You feel me, brother? I’m passing the gavel to you because I won’t lose another woman, nor will I let my daughter put herself at risk. Not now, not ever. I might have stepped away once out of respect and love for my old lady but look where that shit got me. Elodie she’s…fuck.”
Delphine steps toward Alcide and places a hand on his forearm. “I’ve seen the both of you grow close over the past two weeks. Everyone could see it for that matter and I also think this is why they took her. Not just because she’s my friend. We need to be smart about this.”
“She’s right,” I tell him. “Listen to your daughter. She used her brain instead of letting her emotions fuel her actions.”
Alcide’s spine goes ramrod straight. “What the fuck do you suggest then, huh?”
“My old lady will text back. Tell them she needs time to slip away but demand proof to know Elodie is still alive. This gives us a moment to wrap our heads around this shit and come up with a plan. Hell, maybe they’ll fuck up and we’ll see where they are holding her if we catch hints in the video or whatever.”
They both nod at my words.
I cup Delphine’s face and let my thumb trail over her cheek. “Go on and fire off a message. Be sure to ask for video proof so we know we’re not risking our lives if they already killed her. I’m gonna need to talk to my prez, yeah?”
She nods and leaves the room, closing the door behind her.
I don’t waste time and lower my voice to tell him, “We both know there are only two potential places that fucker is holding her. We need to assemble two teams and go in hard now.”
“If they have eyes on us it won’t matter,” Alcide fires back. “It’s probably why he has her in one of those two warehouses the fucker uses.”
“Fuck. What if we call in another chapter?” I suggest.
Alcide nods. “It will take them some time to get here but it would have the element of surprise. Call Duly, lay it all out to him and make sure he knows Elodie is mine.”
I lift my chin and stalk out of church, walking straight to Alcide’s office to grab a burner out of his desk drawer and place the call. Duly is the president of the closest chapter and even if it takes him an hour to get here, he and his men are capable enough to handle both locations.
I just hope they are able to pull it off in the timeframe Delphine is able to give them by stalling Abiel. But I guess we have no other option but to wait and see how things unfold. It’s a good thing Duly told me they were out on a run and are able to split up and hit both locations within half an hour.
Walking back into the room, I only find Alcide and a handful of my brothers.
“Jarvis handled everything back at the casino. I can’t believe Walton’s gone. Dammit, his daughter is going to be devastated. Halton just left to ride cross-state to give her the news in person.” Alcide sighs and the both of us fall silent.
Clearing my throat, I glance at the time and tell him, “Duly should arrive at the warehouse within ten minutes or so. He said he’d update us as soon as they have hit both locations.”
“I have a bad feeling about all of this,” Alcide murmurs and rubs the back of his neck. “Why the fuck would they kidnap Elodie and contact Delphine and not us?”
I shrug but the man does have a point. “Beats me. Maybe they think she’s weak all by herself?”
“Our latest information about Abiel showed he doesn’t have the number of loyal men the way he had in the past. His casino is close to bankruptcy, it shows why he jumped to high risks to merge with Zalverni, getting him out of the way as well when that plan went to shit.”
I nod at his words and when I think about it, “Kidnapping Elodie is a one or two-man job tops. Easy in and out.”
“Right,” Alcide grunts. “He doesn’t have the manpower to strike with full force.”
Delphine enters the room and comes to a stop next to me. “No response yet. I feel so damn helpless.”
“Nothing left to do but wait,” Alcide grunts. “Drives me insane. I want her safe and right here with us. Might even tie her to my bed if we get her back safe and sound.”
Delphine chuckles. “I don’t think she’ll let you.”
Alcide smirks but his lips stay shut. His face tells a story and I won’t say anything but I’m getting the feeling he has tied her to her bed more than once.
Delphine’s phone catches our attention and she rushes toward the table to grab it. Thumbing the screen her eyes grow wide while she takes in what’s showing on her phone. I come to a stop behind her and glance over her shoulder.
There’s a short video playing on a loop. Elodie is sitting on a concrete floor, her wrists and ankles bound together by zip ties. She’s sporting a black eye and there’s blood on her jaw. There’s no telling if they tortured her or if she fought back when they took her.
“They want me to go back to the casino and wait out front.” She stares at me and I can tell she’s torn.
“Three brothers are on the strip on business,” Alcide says.
I nod. “Right, debt collecting. It’s near the casino. Text them and let them know my woman is out there alone and we need eyes on her, let them put their cuts in their saddlebags.”
Alcide grabs his phone and fires off a message.
I turn my attention to Delphine. “I think it might be smart if you grab the keys to one of our SUVs and sneak out the window or something. We have no clue if they have eyes on us or not.”
“No fucking way,” Alcide grunts. “I’m not letting my daughter ride alone. For all we know they can intercept and then I’ll lose them both.”
“My truck is in the garage,” I muse. “One of us can crawl inside.”
“I would feel safer,” Delphine timidly states.
Her phone lights up with a notification, another message lights up while we take in the first.
“Why the fuck are they pressuring her?” Alcide mutters.
Shit. He’s right. It’s like they are getting desperate for her to meet them.
“Do we have a timestamp for the video?” I ask.
Alcide takes the phone and shakes his head. “No, but look at the video. It’s not like it’s made for Delphine to give proof of life. It’s more like a glimpse to let someone know they have her.”
“What does all of it mean?” Delphine asks, confusion written all over her face.
I have to wince because it sure as fuck doesn’t sound good for Elodie.
“Prez!” someone bellows through the main room of the clubhouse right before the sound of a loud crash fills the air.
We all rush outside but when I see a car that has crashed into the gate, I freeze in place and barely manage to snatch Delphine by her waist to keep her in place. Alcide is already at the car, tearing the door open.
“Oh no…that’s…is that?” Delphine whispers in horror.
“Elodie,” I finish for her while we watch Alcide carefully lift her out of the car.
The crash must have knocked her unconscious or maybe she already was when she hit the gate, who the fuck knows.
“Get the club doc into my room,” Alcide roars and jogs into the clubhouse.
We follow and I take out my phone to make the call. Our club doc lives down the street so the man should be here within a few minutes. Delphine is standing in Alcide’s room while her father carefully places her friend on the bed. I head into the bathroom to grab the first aid kit.
Alcide is carefully brushing blood-soaked hairs from her face when Delphine croaks, “Is she still alive or do I need to plan another damn funeral because if so? It might as well be my own because I can’t keep losing people I love.”
