Fort Stanwix 1700s
Elizabeth and Jordan had spent several months dealing with the fighting that had taken place after they had returned to their own time. Both of them had later started to realize that they had missed their friends and the amount of time that they were often spending working at the fort during a time that it had become a rather interesting museum that would be teaching people all around the world about the different things that had taken place during the war. A war that Jordan was currently fighting in while Sarah and Jeremiah were doing whatever they could to teach people about these things that were currently happening in the time that Elizabeth and Jordan were currently from. Jordan had often found himself thinking about the times that he had wanted to return to the time when he was able to talk to Jeremiah about the different things that he was currently going through at different times. In some ways Jordan was pretty sure that Elizabeth was thinking about the things that she would find herself doing whenever she was spending time with Sarah and working at the fort in the way that she was when she had taken her family to a different time period so that she could eventually keep them completely safe from the things that were currently happening. Either way Elizabeth had found herself thinking about returning to see Sarah and perhaps spend some time with her after everything that she had gone through at different times knowing that Sarah would never want her to leave the minute that she had come back to see her in the way that she had honestly hoped would be taking place. Elizabeth knew that Jordan had felt that they were better off in the time period that they were currently in but for some reason it had seemed that there were other things that were happening that had made Elizabeth wonder if Jordan had ever stopped to think about the things that would be happening if they had kept bouncing from one time period to another. Elizabeth knew that sooner or later someone was going to start to figure out that there was something happening and that had included the fact that Elizabeth and Jordan were spending their time traveling from one time to another simply because they were spending time with a few of their closest friends. Friends that had been there for them almost from the very beginning when everything had started with Elizabeth mysteriously disappearing. Jordan had known that it would not take long before people had started to realize that they had been disappearing so that they could eventually spend time with their friends, but the one thing that they would never seem to realize was that there was something special about the way that they had honestly been doing these things. Elizabeth knew that her own parents had realized what had happened because they had experienced all of these things during the time that Elizabeth had been attempting to keep them all safe from the different things that were currently taking place. No matter what happened Elizabeth had started getting the feeling that certain things would have to happen no matter what she had felt throughout that entire time.
For several days after Elizabeth had found out that Jordan had been thinking about returning to the time that they had come from after they had all disappeared making it obvious that these things were going to be happening for the longest time. Jordan would have never admitted to any of these things but there was definitely that part of him that had missed Jeremiah and the things that he had learned about the future despite the fact that he was having to keep quiet about everything that had supposedly happened throughout the entire time that they had been helping Sarah and Jeremiah deal with the different problems that had literally ruined the different aspects of their current relationship. Elizabeth would have admitted that she missed being able to spend time with Sarah and helping her, but she would have never forgotten the way that Sarah was acting when she had learned that her best friend was leaving and possibly never coming back. This had always been the one thing that Elizabeth had hated and even when Jordan had insisted on returning to their own time Elizabeth had been tempted to put up the biggest fight of her life. A fight that Jordan had never exactly been expecting for many different reasons. After a while Jordan had realized that Elizabeth had definitely seemed to know that there were certain things that she would have to do regardless of what other people might have been thinking, especially when it came to the different times that she had disappeared all those many years earlier when she had spent time with Sarah and Jeremiah. Elizabeth knew that her parents had seemed to like Sarah especially during the time that they had been working together, but even then it had seemed that there were several things happening that had caused Elizabeth to wonder if her parents had started noticing certain things the minute that they had returned to their own time where they would be dealing with all kinds of fighting and dangerous situations that Elizabeth had attempted to keep them safe from almost from the moment that all of these things had seemed to be taking place. No matter what was happening Elizabeth had started to get the feeling that the best thing for her and her family was to go back to the time that she had sent them to so that they would stay safe from the terrible things that were eventually happening during that particular time. Elizabeth had tried speaking to Jordan about everything that she had been thinking during that time, but it had seemed that he just did not want to hear about everything that Elizabeth had tried to talk to him about simply because he had felt that they were all better off in their own time whether there had been a war being fought or not during that entire time. Elizabeth knew that if she was going to return to a time when she could spend time with Sarah and Jeremiah that she would eventually have to do these things with her family knowing that Jordan would not exactly find the time to want to spend time with the friends that they had made
and worked with during the time that they had been in the same time period as Sarah and Jeremiah. Either way, Elizabeth was pretty sure that Jordan would never admit that he had wanted to spend time with Sarah and Jeremiah as much as she did and that there was nothing that would get him to follow her into the same time period the way that he did during the time that Jeremiah had been attempting to get Elizabeth to admit the truth about where she had really come from throughout that entire time. No matter what Elizabeth did she knew that Jordan would end up staying where he was. At least until after the war was officially over.
By the time that Friday morning had arrived Sarah had found herself thinking about some of the things that would have been happening if Eliza and Jordan had stayed with her and Jeremiah the way that they had honestly wanted them to do for several different reasons. Jeremiah knew that there had been reasons that Sarah had always been thinking about her best friend and the truth was that he honestly could not blame her, especially since Eliza had been Sarah’s best friend for the longest time. Jeremiah had known that Sarah and Eliza had been the best of friends since they had been in the fourth grade together and that it was because of those reasons that they had always been rather close to each other. Even after Sarah and Jeremiah had gotten together it had seemed that Eliza had always been there for Sarah despite the fact that Jeremiah was often using his jealousy to cause bigger problems for their friendship until after Eliza had finally admitted the truth to Sarah about who she really was and the reason that some of these things had been happening. Jeremiah had used everything that he could to come between that friendship knowing that it would eventually destroy the relationship that he had once had with Sarah if he was not careful. The night before Eliza and Jordan had returned to their own time it had seemed that their relationship had started to get back to where it was honestly supposed to be. Jeremiah had never expected Jordan to make the decision to return to his own time despite the fact that he had honestly been talking about these things after certain things had ended up taking place which had included the fact that he was planning on bringing Eliza with him after certain things had happened during the entire time that they had become the best of friends.
Jeremiah and Sarah had no idea that there had been reasons that all these artifacts had continued to glow mysteriously after Eliza and Jordan had returned to their own time. Several times Jeremiah had been tempted to use these artifacts and try to find Jordan in the hopes that he could convince him to return with him and stay in the same time with him instead of making the decision to return to their own time. This time Jeremiah could have figured out a way to bring members of Jordan’s entire family with them so that Jordan would not feel that he would have to go back for the sake of the family members that he had left in the time that he was originally from. Of course, there had ended up being different things that had caused Jeremiah to never realize that his best friend would end up following Eliza and her family into the time that they had escaped to knowing how much Eliza would start to miss her best friend and the things that they were often doing together. Jeremiah was pretty sure that this was the last thing that Jordan had wanted to do, until he had realized that this time they could stay with them and not have to worry about returning to their own time. At least that was honestly what Jeremiah had led himself to believe when all of these things had ended up happening.
When Jordan had come back the first thing that he had done was search for Jeremiah in the hopes that he could honestly surprise him after everything that had happened throughout the entire time that he had returned to spend time with Jeremiah as well as search for Eliza and her family after she had returned to spend time with her best friend. Eliza had planned on surprising Sarah knowing that there would be times when Sarah would honestly start missing the time that they had been spending together long before she had made the decision to return to her own time where the war was being fought for the things that Sarah and Jeremiah had spent their entire lives having from the moment that they had been born. Sarah and Jeremiah had spent their school years learning all kinds of things that would eventually become part of American History whereas Jordan and Eliza had been living through everything that Sarah and Jeremiah had been learning about at different times. Either way, Jordan had seemed to realize that these were all things that were important to Eliza and her family in so many different ways, and it was because of these things that Eliza and her family had returned to the time that they had been living in when Jeremiah had eventually found a reason to continue with the jealousy that he had often felt throughout that entire friendship. A friendship that had lasted for a number of years despite the amount of lies that Eliza had told when she was making every attempt to keep herself and members of her family completely safe. Now that Jordan and Eliza had returned there had been different things happening which had included the surprises that Jeremiah and Sarah would be getting throughout that entire time. Jeremiah and Jordan had spent several hours talking about some of the things that had changed after Jordan had returned to his own time and the fact that the mysterious glowing had still been happening after they had returned to the 1700s. Jordan had seemed to be rather surprised by all of these things, but he had promised Jeremiah that after Eliza and her family had come back to this time that was in the future these things would no longer be happening. At least not right away. Jordan had followed Eliza and her family making sure that his own family had ended up coming with him. Just like the last time that Eliza had been in this particular time there were certain things that she would have to do in order to make sure that people had not realized that she had actually come from a time in the past, Jordan had ended up having to explain these things to his own family so that certain things would not be taking place. This was the first time that these things had ended up happening for members of Jordan’s family, but for Jordan this was something that he had been through before and he was going to do what he could to live the best life that he possibly could from the moment that he had returned to Jeremiah’s life. A return that Jordan was slowly starting to realize was completely meant to be happening for the longest time.
During the time that Jordan and Jeremiah had been spending their time together it had seemed that there were things that they were able to continue doing, which had included helping Eliza figure out where Sarah was during that time so that she could spend time with her in the way that she had wanted to for the longest time. Eliza had tried searching for Sarah at the fort, at the house where her parents had been living, and even at the apartment where she had lived around the time that Eliza had returned to her own time. Since Sarah had that day off Eliza was pretty sure that she would be spending her time in different places that would be away from where she was working. At least that was what Eliza had been thinking throughout that entire time. By the time that Jeremiah, Jordan, and Eliza had found Sarah it was completely obvious that Sarah had been surprised to see that Eliza was there with Jordan. She had not gotten anything unpacked at the house where she had been living the last time that she had been staying in this particular time period but she knew that her parents and other family members would be ready for everything that would be happening the minute that they had gotten to the house that they would be living in for the rest of their lives knowing that they would never again be returning to the 1700s and dealing with the war that was continuously raging throughout that entire time. Sarah and Eliza would still be working together at the fort teaching young kids and adults everything that they had needed to know about Fort Stanwix and its place in American History. Jordan had managed to get his old job at the fort back and before Eliza and Jordan knew what was happening they were back to their regular schedule minus the training that was often expected at the fort when different people had started working at the fort. Eliza had the feeling that Sarah might have had something to do with these things, but there had been no way that she could know for sure that this was what had actually taken place. Eliza would find herself telling Sarah about the different things that she had gone through after she had returned to her own time, and that had included the fact that the soldiers and their families were making their way to wherever the fighting was happening after the hell that they had all gone through at different times. Hell that Eliza and her family had been escaping yet again when she had come back to live at the same time as her best friend. Jordan had known that this was something that would be happening for a rather long time and if he was being completely honest it was something that he had wanted to happen even if it meant that he would no longer be able to see a few of the soldiers that he had become close friends with during the time that he was part of the group that had been stationed at Fort Stanwix during the time that the war was being fought.
Right from the moment that Jordan and Eliza had returned to spend their time with their closest friends that had been in a different time period it was completely obvious that there were certain things that had changed. Sarah and Jeremiah had literally stopped fighting and it had seemed that their relationship had definitely gotten better throughout the entire time that they had found themselves working together. Sarah was able to talk to Jeremiah about different things without him finding different ways of letting his jealousy and anger take complete control of the things that were eventually happening. Things that he would have normally been upset about after he heard that Sarah was spending her time with her family and her friends. No matter what Sarah was doing, however, it had seemed that Eliza and Jordan were the only people that Sarah could think about and start wondering about what they could have been doing the minute that they had returned to their own time. As much as she had missed them it was obvious that they would want her to continue with whatever direction her life would be taking her in, even if it meant that Jeremiah would not be a part of that life for whatever reason. Sarah had known that Jeremiah would be part of her life no matter what had been taking place. Eliza had known that Jordan would eventually find different reasons for Eliza and her family to return to the time that they had just left for many different reasons. There had always been reasons that Jordan had wanted to leave their friends especially since they had come from a different time period. A time period where they were living through an endless hell because of the war that was being fought throughout that entire time.
The fact that Jordan had brought his family with him was something that Eliza had been thinking about for a number of reasons. She knew that Jordan had missed his family during the last time that he had been in this time period and this time he could not use this as an excuse. Gradually Jordan had started adjusting to the things that were happening and he had decided that as much as he had missed being in his own time that he just could not continue these things knowing that he would honestly miss his best friend after the times that he had left hoping that he had managed to help Jeremiah when it came to fixing his relationship with Sarah over the years that he had remained in the same time period as his best friend. A best friend that he had never wanted to admit would be there for him regardless of the things that might have taken place for the longest time. Throughout those times Jordan had found himself discussing certain things with Eliza knowing that she would be spending as much of her time as possible with Sarah talking about different things as if they had never been apart and they had talked about these things almost from the very beginning. Whatever had caused these things to happen Jordan was sure that Eliza was just glad to have her best friend back knowing that whatever had happened after they had returned to their own time that it was bound to cause different changes to take place regardless of how Jordan might have felt after they had returned to the same time period that Sarah and Jeremiah were currently living in. Joining their friends at the fort was something that Eliza and Jordan had seemed to love more than anything else throughout that entire time. Jordan had continued the endless learning that he would need in order to help deal with the things that were happening at the fort at different times. There had been special events that would often happen once the fort had reopened after the winter season, and that had included the months of planning that would go into the Honor America Days and the things that had happened throughout that entire time. In the short time that Eliza had been back to working at the fort there had been several different things that had seemed to be keeping her rather busy. Luckily Eliza could count on Sarah whenever she had needed the extra help and that had included the events that had taken place during the later part of the year. The spring and summer season had become an important part of the job Eliza would be doing throughout the time that she was working at the fort, and this time it had not been any different. Sarah and Eliza would spend their time working together just the way that they had when they had first started working together from the very beginning. Jeremiah and Jordan would spend their time talking and working together depending on the things that were often happening throughout the rather long work day.
