Zhong Yue quickly cast his divine third eye and look over. The Kun Peng Race’s mortal body was slashed into half, one part having already escaped while the other slammed into the sea. Logically speaking, it should be floating on the sea surface, a thousand mile long mortal body would be difficult to not notice.
However, there was no such body in his sights; only blood, a sea of blood that spanned a thousand miles!
The other half of the mortal body was completely pulverized by the power of the Coiling Dragon Sword into a fine blend of minced flesh and blood that became the sea of blood that he was now seeing before his eyes!
The saint weapon of the dragon race is so strong! But, the dragon race itself is already a strong and vibrant race, it is only to be expected that their divine weapon would be appropriately powerful.
The dragon race resides in the vast sea, but they could also soar in the high skies; while the Kun Peng race is the overlord of the ocean in the form of the Kun, and the ruler of the sky in the form of the Peng. The long-standing feud between these two races have existed since ancient times – they were natural rivals with perennially conflicting agendas.
Xin Huo was surprised, “I never expected that in the times when I was slumbering, the dragon has banished the Kun Peng to the Wood Celestial Star. But there is nothing left in the Ancestral Star anymore, even the Wood Celestial Star is more valuable than it; why would the Kun Peng race try to come back here?”
Zhong Yue pondered earnestly and said, “Isn’t the dragon race also the same? All the efforts they have poured in to banish the Kun Peng Race was so that they could continue to dominate over the sea and sky of the Ancestral Star. Similarly, there is also the celestial race in the East Barren. It seems like there is an earth-shaking secret residing within the Ancestral Star!”
The ambush left a huge hole on the Dragon Barrier where a torrent of sea water flood through, the scene was like what the myths had described; a void hole in the sky. The dragon experts in the city soared into the air and started patching up the hole, reducing the area of the hole to a smaller and smaller radius. The torrent of water that was rushing was also slowing.
Zhong Yue watched as the dragons soared around the hole, blasting blazing fire from their mouths to refine various kind of marvelous materials for repairing the hole.
The Dragon Barrier was a hemisphere that covered the Dragon City. It was the sky and heaven to the livings in the city; and it was an utterly marvelous scene as the dragon experts were patching up the hole in their sky.
For a long period of time to come, the Dragon City would not be able to return to the peace and tranquility it once had. There were dragon experts that rushed back from the outside, armies standing guard in defense of the city in anticipation of another possible assault on their saint city, whether it be an ambush from the Kun Peng Race or any other forces.
“Seems like this would last for quite some time, the Ao Clan elders are busy settling the chaos on the outside. They won’t be able to see me in the meantime.”
Qing He was recuperating from her wounds, Long Qiu’er and the others were in the Million Spirit Pavilion trying manifesting their spirits to become the Qi Practitioners. All the while, Ao Fenglou had yet to return. Hence, Zhong Yue walked out from the Earth Courtyard and gave himself a tour around Dragon City. Suddenly, he spotted the young dragon experts all rushing towards the city center.
With a curious heart filled with questions, he followed behind them. Soon, the dragon ancestor spirit came into their view, the enormously huge dragon spirit was in a slumber but his body remained in form, coiled in the middle of the Dragon Palace.
Meanwhile, the young dragon experts crowded around the Dragon Palace, intently staring at the totem patterns around the dragon god ancestor spirit, trying to gain enlightenment from it.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, it is extremely rare for the dragon god ancestor spirit to appear; but once it does, we can observe his spirit, his form, his charm and the totem patterns to attain some skills and techniques of the highest calibre!” Some dragon disciples were thrilled as they spoke.

But Zhong Yue was still in his own world, he could not regain his thoughts from studying the attainments he had gleaned, and his senses were completely isolated from the outside world. He even nearly followed the dragon god ancestor spirit to slumber in the Dragon Palace. Fortunately, Xin Huo was there to wake him from his stupor, or otherwise, he would have fallen into an irreversible catastrophe!

Zhong Yue surged his psyche out, a thousand Jiao Dragons emerged and formed into the thousand Jiao Dragon art that covered the sky, forming into a Thousand Jiao Array. He stomped his leg, and two dragons carried him into the air – the【Million Miles The Dragon Soars】!
He then cast the skill of the【Jiao Dragon Breaking Water】, lunging out like a dreadful dragon; casting the skill of【Jiao Dragon Extricating Abyss】, he slashing towards his target; flipping his hand, he cast the skill of【Five Dragon Divine Fire Cage】, refining the five dragons!
【Nine Dragon Bell】!
Zhong Yue opened his arms and placed his hands together in the front while a large bell surrounded by nine dragons suddenly emerged before his chest. The bell was formed by countless Jiao Dragon totem patterns, the nine dragons’ tails appeared at the top of the bell while their dragon heads were at the bell opening.
Soon, he has finished casting all of the skills he had obtained from the【Soaring Dragon Hundred Forms】. Alighting down onto the ground, he was feeling a supreme sense of satisfaction and contentment.
“Nice skills!”
Just as he landed, a voice came into his ears. Quickly, he turned around and was startled to see a group of young male and female dragons gathered around him, their gazes that were directed toward him filled with respect and admiration.
Shit, I got so lost in my new skills that I’d forgotten there are still dragons around me.
Zhong Yue was about to thread his way out from through the crowds, when suddenly, a dragon general stood out and said laughingly, “This little brother, you skills are impressive! Countless disciples have practiced the【Soaring Dragon Hundred Forms】, but there aren’t many disciples in the whole Dragon City that could achieve what you did!”
“Brother, you are overpraising me,” Zhong Yue quickly answered.
The dragon general then smiled and said, “No, I’m definitely not overpraising you, there truly aren’t really many who can do it. Your understandings and attainments on it are no longer bound to the limitations of the hundred and forty-four skill permutations. There are a startling few that can say the same! My name is Ao Chuan, and you are?”
Zhong Yue clasped his hands and said, “Long Yue.”
“Long Yue? It seems like you are from a small clan; but I guess being being from a small clan doesn’t necessarily preclude one from becoming strong in their own right.”
Clearly, Ao Chuan was not in a position high enough to know of Zhong Yue’s name, he smiled and continued, “The Jiao Dragons are dragon masters proficient in the killing arts. They are renowned as the preeminent dragon race in terms of combat capability. The【Soaring Dragon Hundred Forms】is an abstruse technique of the highest caliber; there are countless disciples that have practiced this technique. But Junior Martial Brother Long Yue has attained the true quintessence of the【Soaring Dragon Hundred Forms】, why don’t you explain it to us and all of the dragon disciples?”

Ao Chaun laughed and said, “Even if you are wrong, I would be unable to tell and so would still continue to listen as if you were entirely right.”
Zhong Yue thought for a moment and started explaining his understanding and experiences of【Soaring Dragon Hundred Forms】to the young dragons while all of them looked and listened to Zhong Yue in silence.
As he continued talking and when the content of his discourse grew increasingly complicated, Zhong Yue even demonstrated the way he used【Soaring Dragon Hundred Forms】and formed the movements of the Jiao Dragons with his psyche, causing the dragons around him to listen quietly and intently focus on his teachings.
“Big Brother Qingtu, you are the strongest Awakening level Qi Practitioners in our Jiao Dragon race and that Long Yue may be able to defeat us but he definitely could not beat you.”
Then, a Jiao Dragon young man could be seen walking behind a dragon general and that young man was the Jiao Dragon young man that got trampled mercilessly by Zhong Yue back in the Earth Courtyard.
The Jiao Dragon young man then said, “He is a Xiang Dragon under the Ao Clan right now and he is now the lord of East Barren assigned by the Ao Clan. Other than that, he has managed to build up his own power there and he is Shi Buyi’s last disciple, the head of all monsters living in East Barren. The Ao Clan tried to conceal all of these as they want to have the entire East Barren for themselves, but now, this is our chance to become the lord of East Barren and even steal some of the Ao Clan’s profits!”
“The Lord of East Barren?”
The other young dragon named Jiao Qingtu who had quite a handsome face and was dressed in a general’s attire frowned and said, “The Ao Clan managed to have their power seep into the East Barren and they even succeeded? The lord of East Barren sounds very amazing but it is useless if he cannot survive. There are simply too many unpredictable events that could happen anytime in the East Barren. Even if this Long Yue managed to survive, he may not be able to become a magnate Qi Practitioner and the monsters may not necessarily deign to obey his orders either. I wonder if this thought has crossed your mind?”
The young Jiao Dragon man was stunned as just as Jiao Qingtu said, he indeed hadn’t thought of this point at all.
Jiao Qingtu then said again, “It is incredibly difficult to become the lord of all monsters. One mustn’t lack wisdom, intelligence, power, luck, talent, and people to become the lord of all monsters. There are also many strong individuals who would actively strive to deprive him of any chance to thrive. Therefore, the so-called Lord of East Barren is nothing but just a joke.”
