“The sun storm stopped, it seems like that creature didn’t want to continue anymore after it was wounded. Xin Huo, let’s go.”
For the past few days, he had been correcting his flaws with the help of the mirror. The flaws in his mortal body were patched up and the totem patterns were greatly enhanced. Even his Yuan Shen was refined once again and the minor wounds in his soul completely healed.
Zhong Yue was now was a lot stronger than him a few days ago, he felt as though he undergone a rebirth.
Zhong Yue kept the scale into his Yuan Shen secret realms, he flew up into the Sui Tree’s crow’s nest and steered the Sui Tree toward the Ancestral Star.
Inside of the crow’s nest, the marvelous energy was slowly reforming the Golden Crow Yuan Shen into the Sun Innate Spirit while the Golden Crow Yuan Shen was cultivated to the True Spirit level.
Although they were all also True Spirits, the Great Sun True Spirits and the True Spirit cultivated by the Qi Practitioners were on a different level. The Great Sun True Spirits were much stronger, they were born within the sun itself and were the result of time and the worship of many living beings.
The True Spirit cultivated by the Qi Practitioners, were in certain aspects, just a mere replica of the Innate True Spirits.
One was genuine and the other was a replica, the differences between them were evident enough.
This was also why the innate spirit bodies were so strong. Through cultivation and the increase in their cultivation base, they would be able to eventually awaken the innate spirits in them.
When Fang Jiange said that the cultivating at the Celestial Gold Star would bring great benefits to him, he was alluding to awakening the Gold Innate Spirit faster. His strength would see a quantum leap after that.

Shui Zian led the human experts and searched every crevice of land within the Great Wilderness. Zhong Yue heard the news and was surprised as well, he thought, The ten Great Sun True Spirits really fall in the Ancestral Star, how is that possible?
He thought that it was already a rare occasion for any one of the ten Great Sun True Spirits to fall on the Ancestral Star, yet who knew that all ten of them would really end up in the Ancestral Star!
Something doesn’t feel right here, the whole thing looks odd, is someone pulling strings in the dark?
Zhong Yue frowned, the Great Sun True Spirits were said to be the strongest innate spirits and the Innate Sun Spirit Body was the strongest among them as well. For ten of them to rise together, no one would believed it to pure coincidence!

He cast out Yu Wenju’s last Yuan Shen secret realm as a light wheel in front of him. This ussr was crafted into a treasure by him already, it could be small like a ring on his fingers or huge like a secret realm.
Zhong Yue strode into it and took out the scale. He cast all of his skills in front of the scale and looked at his own flaws through the reflection so that he could fix these flaws and perfect his skills.
The Sui Tree was also cast out in front of the mirror as he started attaining the abstrusities in the Sui Tree. His Yuan Shen never left the Sui Tree, it stayed in there and was nourished by the tree, slowly turning into the Great Sun True Spirits.
His prowess was skyrocketing, his arcane energy was stronger, his cultivation grew further and he was just half a step away from the True Spirit level now.
As of now, his Golden Crow Yuan Shen and Star Toad Yuan Shen were both at the True Spirit level already. Long Yue and Bo Xun were the True Spirit magnates now, and all he had to do now was cultivate his Fuxi Yuan Shen into the True Spirit level.
However, at this rate, it wouldn’t be much longer until the Fuxi True Spirit was successfully cultivated.
Meanwhile, in the sun, a loud voice bombarded inside of the sun.
“Realm emperor, emperor! Realm Emperor Bo Luo! Did you find the imperial tomb?”
“I found it." The owner of the huge claw answered, its voice rumbled within the sun, “But it’s too strong, not only can I not break through the seal, I was wounded instead. I am now remedying my injuries.”
“No need to interfere with the imperial tomb anymore." The mysterious voice said, but no one else could be seen around. His voice was strong and powerful, so strong that the sunfire around was disrupted by the voice itself, “The imperial tombs are the last line of defense to the Ancestral Star, that’s why we all wanted them to be destroyed. But it was truly a nearly impossible task. After all, there were two eras of Heavenly Sovereigns and Earthly Sovereigns that were buried in this waste star. Their imperial tombs are beyond breakable, or otherwise, they would’ve been taken down a long time ago. Realm Emperor Bo Luo, you can return to your Six Paths World now.”
The huge claw’s owner shook his head, he said, “So long as the waste star exists, I can never sleep tight and eat well.”
The voice smirked and answered, “Relax, I brought good news for you. There are a few higher existences that forged a treasure that goes by the name of Divine Tree of Knowledge, it will slowly change the environment of the waste star and imperial emperor’s Skymetrical Scroll will completely sever the waste star’s link to the outside world. These two treasures are already on their way to the Ancestral Star, there is no need to do anything anymore now.”
The huge claw’s owner was shocked before he said and said while smiling, “If even that imperial emperor stepped in to take care of the waste star, then I am relieved now. It might sound ridiculous, but I even forced out eleven Great Sun True Spirits to the waste star to raise chaos within it. Now looking back at it, it seems like I was doing useless work here.”

The owner of the huge claw strode out from the sun, he waved his claw and a spatial rift opened in front of him. He laughed and said, “Eleven were forced out by me, but only ten arrived in the waste star. One of them was tamed before it managed to fall onto the waste star.”
“Oh?" The voice turned solemn, it said, “A living being from the Ancestral Star? Realm Emperor Bo Luo, be cautious. The waste star was once an imperial planet, there were many monarchs that were born on it. If this person’s destiny is somewhat similar to theirs, then all of our efforts can go to ruin just because of their existence!”
“Hahaha, you are worrying too much. He was shone by my scale and that little one is merely an ordinary cultivator with no specialties." The huge claw’s owner said nonchalantly, “He is too pathetic. I only let him go because he is also a sun spirit cultivator. After he acquired the Sui Tree, he will be another Innate Sun Spirit Body, in addition to the others, there will be eleven Innate Sun Spirit Bodies still. Zhong Yue sat in front of the scale, totem patterns weaved behind him and his Yuan Shen was slowly compressing. His Golden Crow Yuan Shen and Star Toad Yuan Shen were both True Spirits already, they were breathing out the Yin and Yang Qi and refined on his Yuan Shen.
Not only that, but there were two young experts sitting behind him as well. It was none other than Long Yue and Bo Xun, he recalled them to help him break through into the True Spirit level!
Long Yue was casting the celestial arcane energy while Bo Xun was casting out the demon arcane energy. These arcane energies were visualized into various totem patterns that were struck into Zhong Yue’s Yuan Shen.
Meanwhile, above the Fuxi Yuan Shen in the sky, his Nine Revolving Inner Core was glimmering in rays and shone on the Yuan Shen, helping it refine the totem patterns in it!
His inner core was filled with billowing blood essence that gushed into his Fuxi Yuan Shen. Long Yue and Bo Xun’s blood essences were also billowing into his Yuan Shen.
Meanwhile, Zhong Yue’s mortal body sat in the lotus position, the divine third eye was opened wide and so were his eyes. Three golden rays shone on the mirror and watched closely on the flaws that were still persisting in his Yuan Shen.
These three godly rays were so thin they were nearly imperceptible. As they were reflected by the scale, they surged into the Fuxi Yuan Shen and started amending the flaws in it.
With this scale mirror, Zhong Yue was able to clearly see his flaws. He could fix the flaws and correct himself as much as possible, allowing him to achieve more in the shortest time possible.
Other than that, there were over dozens of divine herbs that were surging their medicinal efficacies into his Fuxi Yuan Shen!
The medicinal efficacies of these divine herbs, the arcane energies, totem patterns and psyches all turned into the purest form of energy that surged into his Fuxi Yuan Shen!
By now, Zhong Yue had been in closed door training of over two months already. Everythig was so that he could break through to the True Spirit level!
Even the Six Gentlemen of Returning Ruins, including Husan Weng were here surging their medicinal efficacies into Zhong Yue.
The huge carrot followed Zhong Yue to the insect planet and nearly died there. However, they made it back and as soon as it returned in Swords Gate, it was being treated with the godly soils and recovered greatly, although its limbs were still a little thin and new still.
Husan Weng wasn’t back to its peak state yet, but after hearing that Zhong Yue was breaking through to the level of True Spirit, it still rushed over to help him.
Having over dozens of divine herbs helping him, just imagine how incredible was that.
Yet, Zhong Yue’s Fuxi True Spirit was still not successfully cultivated yet; the progress was rather slow.
The key to the whole True Spirit level was to cultivate the manifested spirits into the True Spirits in their Yuan Shen. Zhong Yue’s progress was so slow was because he never acquired the Fuxi spirit.
His Fuxi Yuan Shen was only possible with him using his soul as the base, it was his soul that took the form of the Fuxi and the spirits inside the Fuxi Yuan Shen were the sun and moon spirits instead of the Fuxi spirit.
The conventional method all the other Qi Practitioners took for their Yuan Shen was using their spirit as the base and their soul as the support. This way, it was easier to cultivate, relatively easier than the other way round.
Zhong Yue had done it the other way round, he chose to use his soul as the base and the spirits as the support, that’s why he could cultivate the Fuxi Yuan Shen. It was also what caused his soul to be even stronger than his own Sun Moon Twin Spirits!
But as a consequence, if he wanted to cultivate his Fuxi Yuan Shen into a True Spirit, he actually had to cultivate his soul into the True Spirit!
Cultivating a soul to the True Spirit was unprecedented, no one had ever done something like that, and so he didn’t have anything to guide him or anything to refer to. The only thing he could rely on was himself, the only thing he could do was keep trying until one day, he can truly succeed. If he did, then he could proudly announce that he walked on a path that no one had ever walked before!
After a long time, Zhong Yue muffled a deep groan and his Yuan Shen shuddered violently. The energy inside of his Yuan Shen started to lose control and dissipated into the surroundings. The whole Yuan Shen secret realms was filled with spiritual energy that nourished the surrounding flora, turning the whole place into a huge forest. It was truly a marvelous scene to behold.
But it also carried another meaning in it... that he had failed.
Zhong Yue’s face was solemn, although he had been refining his Yuan Shen for two months and was already at a level stronger than all of his peers, his soul still couldn’t be transformed into the True Spirit.
The issue lies in my Yuan Shen, my ‘spirit’ is my soul, it is not the Fuxi spirit. Does that mean I can only break through if I find the Fuxi spirit?
He knew exactly what went wrong, but he didn’t want to resign himself to the fact. Not to mention that he hadn’t the slightest clue on where to find the Fuxi spirit, even if he did have the abilities to acquire it. The unwillingness in him will still greatly affect his frame of mind and would eventually become a greater problem in the future!

Even with the help of Long Yue, Bo Xun, over dozens of divine herbs, Nine Revolving Inner Core, the reflection of the scale mirror, and his divine eyes, he still failed. For the first time, Zhong Yue started doubting the cultivation path he walked on.
If it was truly impossible to cultivate the soul into a True Spirit, wouldn’t he be stuck in the Heavenly Dharma level for the rest of his life?
If this was really unachievable, could he really let go of everything return to the conventional way like everyone else?
If there was already a tried and tested path, why would he torture himself and bullishly try to blaze his own trail?
Zhong Yue’s frame of mind was shaken, his thoughts were clouded and his inner self was torn. A voice told him to persist on the path he chose while the other whispered for him to give up and turn back to safe road.
All of a sudden, essence gushed out from his mortal body, even Long Yue and Bo Xun were undergoing the same phenomenon as well.
“What is going on?" Husan Weng and the others were shocked.
Cusia answered them in a quivering tone, “His thoughts are clouded, his frame of mind is affected by his own thoughts. He is doubting himself and as a result, his cultivation base is dissipating away from him!”
