Feng Wuji watched as Fu Baotian exited from his vicinity and smiled, “When he returns, King Yi will be dead. Shame, I’ve always thought that he would die by my hands.”
Feng Mingshan blinked, “King Yi? The rank one on the Board of Future Monarch?”
“That’s him.”
Feng Wuji sighed, “He can be considered as my greatest enemy and I am really not happy that I am not the one that killed him.”
With mixed emotion, Feng Mingshan agreed, “Unable to compete with the rank one is really a shame. I really desire to compete with him this time as I came out but he….”
Meanwhile, Fu Baotian did not want to tally around anymore and he rushed back to the Xian Tian Palace quickly.
About two months later, he finally reached the vicinity of Xian Tian Palace’s power and much to his surprise, violet light illuminated at the front of his path. Fu Baotian’s heart thumped, only to find a palace floating in the galaxy, with King Zi Guang’s carriage parked at the side and a few ladies who were all King Zi Guang’s wives.
Why is King Zi Guang here?
A confused Fu Baotian approached them slowly and a lady who saw him smiled, “Is that Senior Fu Baotian?”
Fu Baotian nodded and the lady said again, “Darling, Senior Fu Baotian is here.”
King Zi Guang got out of the palace and Fu Baotian immediately confronted him, “Mister Zi Guang, I’ve completed the mission. I’ve come to understand Wu Dulang’s behavior and capability after about a year of time…. This is?”
Beside King Zi Guang stood an innate god, muscular, colored eyes and beardy, making him seem very powerful and he was an Imperial Emperor!
Even among the innate gods, there were not many that managed to achieve this level so this person was definitely a very powerful and talented one!
“This is Bi Luo Palace’s Di Xiuluo.”
King Zi Guang gently said, “I came out to look for him and to ask him to assist in our lord’s conquest. You’ve come on the right timing, come, introduce yourself to Di Xiuluo.”
Hearing this, Fu Baotian bowed right away and smiled, “I am Fuxi Celestial Race’s Fu Baotian, greetings, Di Xiulo.”
However, the innate god remained expressionless, said nothing and did nothing.

His expression turned grim right away and he murmured, “Wu Dulang is inferior to Mister Yi in every way, even his strength was no match for Mister Yi if they are on the same level.”
Fu Baotian squeezed out a smile and added, “Which meant that this Mister Yi is not Li Yang? King Zi Guang, this is something not to be ignored! If I told Imperial Emperor Xian Tian about this, our lord would remove this traitorous Yi from the game! This is a huge contribution …”
“Don’t’ worry, I will not steal your credit.”
King Zi Guang gave himself a moment to think, Why did Mister Yi sneak into we Xian Tian Palace as Li Yang? What is he looking for? And who is he really?
On the other hand, Fu Baotian’s eyes lit up with hope and grinned, “No matter what this traitor is up to, we mustn’t keep him around anymore! Kill him! With that elite army under his command, he will quickly become a problematic threat if he betrayed us!”
King Zi Guang nodded, seemingly agreed with him and said, “You’re right, absolutely right…. Fu Baotian, I will report back to our lord about what you contributed. The lord will definitely entrust you with more responsibilities! Servants, bring the fine wine!”
The lady servants then served them fine wine before King Zi Guang invited Fu Baotian to have a seat. After a few drinks, King Zi Guang gradually got drunk and he had Di Xiulo and Fu Baotian continue to enjoy the wine while he got out and stood outside the palace.
Suddenly, the palace gates shut and released a loud banging noise.
Seconds later, Fu Baotian could be heard shouting in anger and surprise, then terrifying shockwaves slammed onto the walls as if there were two beasts fighting in the palace!
But even the sturdy palace was not strong enough to withstand the horrifying clashings; the walls shook vigorously and shown signs of crumbling!
“Di Xiuluo, what are you doing!”
Fu Baotian’s shouting was heard as Di Xiuluo suddenly attacked him!”
“Mister Zi Guang, Di Xiuluo has gone mad, he is trying to kill me! Help!”
“Save me, Mister Zi Guang!”
However, King Zi Guang remained expressionless as he looked at the scene on the outside while murmuring, “How sturdy, these innate gods are just so powerful.”
One of his wive looked at the palace and she voiced out her question, “Darling, inside of the palace….”
“Everything inside is normal.” replied King Zi Guang calmly, “Di Xiuluo likes flesh. In order to exchange for his services, I have to provide him the flesh of a peak Imperial Emperor, hence, this Fu Baotian was the flesh that I offered to him.”
His gaze turned steely cold but his tone remained calm, “Mister Yi, an extremely talented person but he is not Li Yang. He served our lord with a different purpose, an ill purpose but this is not the time to touch him right now. With me alone, our lord’s conquest will be a difficult one but Mister Yi can help relieve a great deal of pressure for us. All I need to do now is learn his secrets as much as I can and once our lord sits on the throne, Mister Yi’s time will come.”
King Zi Guang smiled, “But our lord must not know about this yet for he would definitely not be able to pretend as if nothing had happened in front of Mister Yi if he knew about this. Mister Yi is a very observant and sharp person, I have no choice but to sacrifice Fu Baotian. Compared to this Fuxi trash, Mister Yi’s value is beyond measure.”
Meanwhile, after a series of turbulence, the palace finally returned to calm.
King Zi Guang then opened the gate only to see Di Xiuluo feasting on the table, a serpent tail in his mouth and the tail slowly disappeared in his mouth.
“Di Xiuluo, the eye I wanted?” asked King Zi Guang with a frown.
“There you go,” said Di Xiuluo as he threw out Fu Baotian’s eyes, which were all his divine eyes.
King Zi Guang kept the eyes away and calmly said, “Now that you have your feast, is it time for you to go see Imperial Emperor Xian Tian? I assume that a peak Imperial Emperor is enough for you?”
“Let’s go,” answered Di Xiuluo.
“Once we get there, speak nothing about what you shouldn’t speak of.”
“Of course.”

In the Heaven Suppression Fortress, Zhong Yue watched as his army trained hard; at this point, the Heaven Suppression Fortress had no more weaknesses with the arrival of the Yinkang Navy.
But if the Heavenly River Navy Fleet attacked us with the other divisions, I’m afraid we still won’t be able to hold our ground.
After thinking for some time, Zhong Yue suddenly turned into a Golden Crow and flew into the skies and casted various skills as the Golden Crow.

Upon discovering her arrival, Zhong Yue landed in front of her and explained, “I’m just trying to simulate the battle this way.”
“Why?” asked a surprised Jin Hexi.
Zhong Yue softly nodded and spread the Zi Wei Galaxy’s star map in front of her and said, “Here, look. The Xian Tian Palace’s distribution of forces looks just like a divine bird. The Heaven Riding Fortress and Shield Wall Fortress are the wings, the Heaven Suppression Fortress is the head. When the bird flies into the skies, the head moves before the wings. With that, the divine bird will continue flying forward, swallowing everything it passed and creating unstoppable momentum!”
Jin Hexi nodded and Zhong Yue continued, “I’ve turned the Xian Tian Palace’s forces into a massive divine bird. While the battle looked troublesome, traceless and dangerous, there is still something we can line up with. With the Xian Tian Palace’s power like a bird, if I used the Jinwu Clan’s body techniques to align the formation, I would be able to infuse it into the battle. If the techniques are undefeatable, then so will our forces.”
Jin Hexi’s confusion cleared away under his explanation and she shouted softly, “Can techniques be used in such manner?”
Zhong Yue smiled, “Techniques and war are related in a way. Think of when the bird attacks, then imagine Xian Tian Palace’s power as the divine bird’s body parts, have this bird move and if the techniques have no opening, then the Xian Tian Palace’s attacks will have no openings as well. With that, all that remains is just how strong the power is.”
Jin Hexi stuttered; turning war into techniques that could be cast, her husband’s thinking was really unique. However, she also felt that her husband’s explanation made sense as well. The Jinwu Clan was the fiercest ancient wild species; their bodies were so strong that they’d encountered only a handful of formidable enemies in the history of time. It would naturally be powerful to use the Golden Crow as the head of the formation as well.
“Darling, you are not Imperial Emperor Xian Tian, you can’t possibly be able to command both Heaven Riding Fortress and Shield Base Fortress?”
Jin Hexi pointed out the flaw in Zhong Yue’s explanation and said, “The commander of both the Heaven Riding Fortress and Shield Base Fortress shares the same rank as you, which makes you unqualified to order them around so whatever you say now cannot be realized.”
As a reply to her statement, Zhong Yue drew two circles on the map and pointed out a few sacred grounds around Heaven Suppression Fortress. These sacred grounds were aligned with the fortress, which turned into the fortress’ wings in an instant!
The Heaven Suppression Fortress then turned into a slightly smaller brain of the divine bird and started functioning with the wings.
Suddenly, the bird flew out from the star map and started clumsily repeating what Zhong Yue was doing just now.
Jin Hexi’s eyes lit up and she clapped in awe, “Darling, you’ve turned your own power into the divine bird! If it’s your own power, then you can move them around freely without any delays! However, you have little mastery in the Jinwu Clan’s attacks. Besides, apart from the wings, you still need three more legs so you need to occupy these places, then set up a base and turn them into Golden Crow’s claws.”
Zhong Yue looked at the star map as Jin Hexi pointed out the places that matched the golden crow’s legs; these were some celestial and demon races’ sacred grounds but there would not be a problem to attack them.
With the three talons pointed out by Jin Hexi, the Golden Crow had become extremely realistic and lively, bestowed with the ability to attack even fiercer!
“Dear, how about this, we both create a Golden Crow with our energy, and have a quick fight.”
Jin Hexi’s energy gushed out, turned into the three-taloned Golden Crow and Zhong Yue followed suit; the two Golden Crows then started battling each other but Zhong Yue’s was shredded quickly after a moment.
Zhong Yue frowned right away, causing him to challenge Jin Hexi again and again, only to be defeated right away.
Jin Hexi smiled, “Darling, I am born a Golden Crow, there is no way for you to beat me in this. You may be able to turn into a Golden Crow but you won’t be able to think like one because you are a human.”
“Think like a Golden Crow?”
Zhong Yue was stunned and he turned into the Golden Crow again before taking off into the skies while Jin Hexi followed. The two Golden Crows flapped their wings in the skies and circled around the fortress before flying into and out of the sun.
Zhong Yue then activated the Sovereign Tree and the two Golden Crows sat onto the nest on the tree as they chirped.
The two then lived on the tree, drank the sun’s divine water while thirsty and ate the fire seed while hungry. Without them knowing, they’ve lived there for a few months and the gods in the fortress could also see that the two birds would argue and engage in a tough fight some times.
The two birds would then battle each other once after some time and the gods no longer bat an eye anymore as they all thought that their master and the new arrival, Goddess Xi both had some weird fetish.
“Bird Man, Bird Lady!”
One day, Yin Fanxuan who now got out from her cultivation, stood under tree and shouted as the two birds fought each other around the tree, causing feathers to rain down from the skies and the bird Zhong Yue turned into was beaked into injuries by Jin Hexi. Upon seeing how stupid Zhong Yue looked, Yin Fanxuan uncontrollably burst out laughing and she giggled, “Come down now, you two, stop fooling around.”
Zhong Yue retracted his wings, landed onto the ground with his three talons firmly, all remained in the bird claw form, to which Yin Fanxuan gave him a glance and Zhong Yue quickly reverted his talons, “I almost forgot that I am not a Golden Crow.”
On the other hand, Jin Hexi gracefully landed and smiled, “Now that darling is very familiar with the Golden Crow’s attack pattern, you will be able to control the battle freely now. What is the matter, Sister Xuan?”
Yin Fanxuan said, “Elder Fu Qizhi told me that Fu Li could no longer be contacted so I came as fast as I can to tell darling about this.”
“Fu Li lost contact with us?”
Zhong Yue had a shock and he immediately took out this totem pillar, tried to get in touch with Fu Li, only to receive no response from the other side. He frowned right away and he felt uneasy about it.
Six years have passed and Fu Li was still in the run from the pursuit with Bi An, rendered them unable to return but there was a totem pillar that Fu Li could get in touch with them.
Throughout the years, Fu Qizhi had kept in touch with Fu Li to locate him.
“Could it be that Fu Li had eaten cousin Bi An?”
Yin Fanxuan had once helped Fu Li with her flute melody to suppress Fu Li’s greed to eat Bi An but if he had successfully neutralized it, then Fu Li would lose himself to the temptation!
“Doesn’t matter, looking for Fu Li is important but the Heaven Suppression Fortress’s importance is very much the same! Summon the generals! We are going to have a meeting!”
The generals arrived quickly, all gathered in the hall and Zhong Yue proceeded to spread out the star map on the table. He pointed out the Golden Crow shape he drawn on the map and said, “Generals, I want nine towns and twelve fortresses built at these places. You will all lead an army for yourselves, occupy these places and establish a base!”
After that, Zhong Yue started assigning the army, had Mu Suge, Fu Lie, Fu Wen, Yin Fanxuan and the others all lead an army.
Zhong Yue then told Jin Hexi, “While I’m away, I will leave behind my incarnations but you will be handling the rest of the affairs. My incarnations can only assist you by the side.”
Jin Hexi had a scare and she exclaimed, “Me? In charge of the entire Heaven Suppression Fortress? There is so much to be handled and if I messed up….”
Previously, there were already 50,000,000 soldiers in the Heaven Suppression Fortress and with the addition of the Yinkang Clan, the gods around had reached a crazy amount of 70,000,000.
As a result, there were just too many gods around and this amount had already exceeded the limit of the fortress so Zhong Yue decided to establish a few more bases.
Zhong Yue smiled, “The Xian Tian Royal Guards are not yours to command, nor the Yinkang Navy. You will be handling the rest, which amounts only to about 30,000,000 of them. Fu Qizhi took a look at the map and pointed, “Here.”
Zhong Yue stared right at the map and he frowned, “That close? This is… Huangting Clan’s land!”
The Huangting Clan was not far away from the fortress and with Fu Li’s speed, he would be able to arrive at the fortress in just half a month’s time.
But now, they lost contact with him after he arrived at this place and that was more than just strange.
Huangting Clan…. This is not going to be easy!
Huangting Clan and Dating Clan were both from the same root; both were monarch races, but after two monarchs rose in the clan, the clan separated into two races with Dating Clan remained in the Imperial Star and Huangting Clan resided around Xian Tian Palace.
The Huangting Clan were among those few monarch races that did not live in the Imperial Star. The Dating Clan rooted in Imperial Star and Huangting Clan developed themselves in the galaxy; Fu Li must have had intruded the Huangting Clan’s territory after being pursued by the two Imperial Emperors and his disappearance was definitely related to the Huangting Clan.
However, entering their territory and to save Fu Li was not an easy task.
“Elder Qi, come with me!”
Zhong Yue blinked his eyes, chanted the Dark Age’s innate Dao language softly. The void rumbled under his chantings and an ancient ship slowly sailed out from the void.
