However, their attempts are futile in my eyes. I can peer into the river of time to learn everything happened throughout these years. They may be able to erase recorded history but they can never erase past.”
Zhong Yue was dumbstruck at such power that Great Si Ming displayed.
Great Si Ming was actually able to look into the river of time and observe everything that had happened. Such an ability was something Zhong Yue had never heard of!
Great Si Ming continued, “Time is really a very powerful enemy. It has buried countless talents and even after I woke up, the son of the dragon and snake that even I admire greatly had passed away. However, his very existence created such a glorious era, allowing mortals to take the center stage of the universe. He is really impressive!”
“Do you know anything about this star beneath me?” asked Great Si Ming suddenly.
Zhong Yue shook his head in confusion. This star’s location was just too good that it was only a little below the Imperial Star. So it was very odd that there was no one here.
“This, is the future of the Imperial Star.”
Great Si Ming gradually said, “With the fall of each era, the Imperial Star will waver and eventually die out and a new Imperial Star will rise. If you have the ability to look into the river of time, you will notice that the Imperial Star in the Fire, Earth and God Order Era were all different. When the era changed, so did the star.”
Out of nowhere, Xin Huo, who was in Zhong Yue’s psyche ocean nodded, “Indeed. The Imperial Star in the Fire Order Era was a different one from the Earth Order Era’s. The one right now is also a different one from the previous era. The Imperial Star in the Earth Order Era had turned into the State of Heavenly River we know right now. If he is not wrong, this future Imperial Star is extremely significant!”
This information shook Zhong Yue; if the Earth Order Era’s Imperial Star turned into the State of Heavenly River where the remaining of Fuxi Celestial Race resided, did that mean that the Fuxi Celestial Race’s fate was still there?
After all, Fuxi Celestial Race was the representative of the Earth Order Era and the Imperial Star was the symbol of Earth Order Era, the existence of the Fuxi was the extension of fate, which also meant that the Earth Order Era had yet to come to an end?

He continued, “Right now, this future Imperial Star has yet to fully grown but it will replace the Imperial Star of this era. Whoever occupies this place first will have the upper hand in the future!”
Zhong Yue’s heart tightened right away and he started examining this star; as if it had life in it, when Zhong Yue carefully examined it, he felt that this star was breathing and growing as time passed!
“Then why are there no lives here?” asked Zhong Yue.
“The future Imperial Star is not a place that anybody can locate easily,” said Great Si Ming with a smile.
Hearing this, Zhong Yue immediately flew towards the outer skies and just as he flew out from the star’s forcefield. Zhong Yue was caught off guard by what he saw; he saw himself flying out from a speck of tiny dust floating lonely in the universe.
The future Imperial Star was actually just a speck of dust!
Previously when he was still in the star, how massive the star was words can not describe but it became a speck of dust when Zhong Yue left the star.
And when he started flying back to the dust, it slowly enlarged as he got closer.
Upon seeing Zhong Yue’s return, Great Si Ming laughed and said, “Now do you understand? The star is protecting himself by twisting the space, making it tough to find. Only the future Heavenly Monarch can find this star and enter it. You are the future Heavenly Monarch and I saw your future! This star is your future Imperial Star and where you will die!”
Zhong Yue’s mind flinched greatly as his purpose here was to learn about his future!
Great Si Ming had Long Zhi handing Zhong Yue a scroll with a picture drawn, a picture that was related to his future!
And that picture, was the picture of him dying fighting!
A picture where he was beheaded by a light stream!
One that depicted the empire he created being destroyed, his friends and his comrades being killed alongside him!
Whatever was drawn in the scroll was the exact same thing projected by the future’s river of time when he traveled towards Heaven Suppression Palace in the ancient ship.
Back then, even though Zhong Yue told Yin Fanxuan that the future could be altered, the projection still bothered him to a certain extent.
Hence, that scroll convinced him to follow Long Zhi to meet Great Si Ming even though it risked exposing himself!
“Can the future be altered?” asked Zhong Yue with a sore voice.
“The future I saw about you in the river of time did not change even until now.”
Great Si Ming shook and said, “No matter what choices you made, they are all decided by fate, everything will progress as planned. You will eventually find this star, get closer to the throne step by step until you sit on the throne. When you are at the pinnacle, you will be killed. All your hard work right now, everything you worked so hard for was all leading you to this end.”
Zhong Yue kept quiet for a moment and he suddenly burst out laughing, “If I am destined to walk into the tragic death, then why did Great Si Ming summon me?”
“To change the future!”
Fire flickered in Great Si Ming’s eyes as he said, “To change both our futures!”
He spoke in an invisible tone, with a voice that astonished souls, “I do not accept that the future cannot be changed! It is impossible that everything is decided since the very beginning and I am confident that I can change my future and flip the table around! Now, I am preparing to cooperate with the future Heavenly Monarch to change this so-called destiny!”
“How?” followed up by Zhong Yue.
From Great Si Ming’s mouth suddenly came obscure Dao language that possessed incredible power, roared across the skies and when the Dao language was spoken, the future Imperial Star beneath their feet twisted, crumbled and shattered!
Zhong Yue was shocked by what happened; this unique star plunged into chaos in an instant, rampaging earth, wind, fire and water elements rose and just like an apocalypse, everything fell apart, turn into chaos before vanishing completely.
In the next moment, the entire star turned into dust as it was entirely destroyed by Great Si Ming!
Zhong Yue was in awe entirely and at the same time, he felt that a vague connection between him and this star shattered.
“This, this is the first step to changing the future!”
After completely destroying this future Imperial Star, Great Si Ming raised his hands and shouted, “With this star destroyed, you are completely denied of it! You will not find it anymore, or become the new Heavenly Monarch, and you will not build an empire here! The future is not absolute! Now, you can change it when you find the crucial turning point! Fuxi, what do you think?”
“Impressive!”
Zhong Yue was amazed by the presence emitted by Great Si Ming, which had him shouted, “I will join you!”
Great Si Ming gave him a smile and said, “I have something to tell you still. According to the future we both saw, you are most likely killed at your pinnacle, and you won’t be killed no matter what kind of nonsense you pull off before your pinnacle. However, with the future Imperial Star destroyed, your path has now become an unpredictable one and you might lose your life anytime.”
Zhong Yue burst out laughing and replied, “Which also means that my fate is my own very own hands! My life is mine and no one shall have control over my life, not even Heaven!”
Great Si Ming nodded, “Heed my warning, your path is a path of danger and unknowns.”
Zhong Yue, however, did not seem to care about this. He felt incredibly good and relieved. Suddenly, he thought of something and quickly asked, “Great Si Ming, you are a powerful innate god and I am just a puny postnatal mortal in the Heavenly Deity level. What made you want to ally with me.”
“For we share the same enemy.”
Great Si Ming replied calmly, “Not to mention that you are a future Heavenly Monarch. So what if you are a mortal? Ever since meeting with Great Sui, I have never once looked down on any postnate since someone as powerful as Great Sui could appear among them. For now, I do not require your help but it does not mean that I won’t be needing your help in the future!”
Zhong Yue felt extremely proud right now as he thought, Fighting alongside Great Si Ming? With someone that intimate everyone? Why not!
Great Si Ming then waved his hand and a mirror appeared before them, “I won’t hold you back any longer. I’ve shattered this future Imperial Star and it is most likely that “Heaven” realized what has happened. This place is not safe anymore.”
With a nod, Zhong Yue walked into the mirror before Long Zhi followed suit and the mirror disappeared after the two of them entered it.
Great Si Ming, on the other hand, remained silent and with a soft wave, a picture appeared in the air.
The picture was the future that he saw for himself.
A picture where he too, died in the future.
At his pinnacle where he was about to slay his foes, he was decimated by a light stream, one that was entirely the same as the one that killed Zhong Yue.
This time, his death in the future, he had no friends with him and no revival Dao language left by his Deity Kings subordinates, which resulted in an absolute death.
The future can be changed, it can be changed for sure!
His body flickered by an inch and vanished from the scene in a blink of an eye.
The turning point of his future is this future Imperial Star and the turning point of my future is him!
Just as he left, space trembled vigorously as a huge eyeball squeezed its way out from the dimension. This eyeball was filled with red veins and it rolled around, patrolling the surroundings before disappearing again.
Strange… Where did the future Imperial Star go?”
A voice murmured in confusion.

After the eyeball’s disappearance, another eyeball appeared.
“This future Imperial Star is a very chess piece, it is supposed to grow with its fate to serve its purpose at its fullest. How did it disappear?”
The second eyeball then vanished but not before a third one appeared. This third eyeball also looked around. After that came the forth, fifth….
In Chaos, Hundans swam freely in the river of time and suddenly, the many Hundans were all immobilized, trapped in the current river of time and lied before them was a piece of filthy and tainted dimension, the time flow was messed up and even these Hundans refused to enter.
An ancient voice was then heard, “Living beings are causing ripples in the river of time by disrupting the future. How wonderful! Strange lives messing with the future and obstructing with the progression… This is the not first time already.”
The Hundans possessed the ability to swim freely in time without being affected by time, appearing at any point in the past and future.
However, if the river of time’s future was disrupted, the river would become filthy and tainted, preventing the Hundans from entering.
“I will be going onto the land to check what has happened.”

The entire Jinwu Clan was alerted by the Chaotic Divine Turtle’s arrival; countless magnates charged out and they all looked at the front with an empty mind as the massive Chaotic Divine Turtle emerged from the chaos fire ocean.
The Chaotic Divine Turtle continued crawling forward, but at the same time, his body was slowly changing. After a few steps, it turned into an amazing living being. Suddenly, the Chaotic Divine Turtle was shocked by his discovery and he murmured, “I might have entered the wrong timeline… I’ve arrived 170,000 years earlier than I should be. This time should be Dao Venerate Fu Min’s era …”
He immediately wanted to return back to the chaos fire ocean but right before he could put his leg into the fire ocean, the fire instantly started burning his leg.
After getting onto land, he became a creature of this universe, which no longer made him a Hundun, hence, if he entered the chaos fire ocean again, he was bound to be burned. The only way to enter again was to destroy his tainted body to purify himself.
The Chaotic Divine Turtle retracted his leg and just as he was thinking about what to do, an Innate Golden Crow flew towards him before turning into a man with bird’s head and three claws, he said in a shocked tone, “Brother, where did you come from? May I have the honor of knowing your name?”
“The Jinwu Clan?”
Chaotic Divine Turtle laughed and said, “I remember you. Since time is still early and the ripple will come only after 170,000 years later, I suppose I have some time to spare. To answer your question, I come from Chaos and you can call me Hundun.”
Celestial Monarch Jin Wu’s eyes moved around and he invited, “Brother, the Chaos Divine Fruits on the divine tree recently have just fully ripened. If you don’t mind, would you like to have a cup of tea with me? I will treat you with some of the fruits.”
“Gladly!” said Hundun happily.
On the tree, Celestial Monarch Jin Wu treated Hundun generously, serving him with delicacies and the Chaos Divine Fruits freshly harvested from the divine tree and even had the beauties of Jinwu Clan to entertain them with dances and singings.
Hundun enjoyed himself to the fullest and he kept on praising, “Back then, my life was dull and boring. I never know that there are such delicacies and such wonderful music! If I had known it earlier, I would’ve gotten onto the land long ago! Monarch Jin Wu, can you gift me a branch from the tree? As a token of appreciation, I will gift you a Chaos Bead that could protect you from the future catastrophic event.”

The Celestial Monarch Jin Wu was struck with happiness and he immediately thanked Hundun but not before he gave Hundun a branch from the divine tree.
In turn, Hundun gave the Celestial Monarch Jin Wu a Chaos Bead and the monarch said, “Since you came from Chaos, could you please tell me a little about the future?”
“I’m afraid I can not share with you about what happened. All I can say is that 170,000 years later in the future, there will be someone that disrupts the time flow and create ripples.”

Hundun said, “By giving you the Chaos Bead that will save your life, I have already caused some unpredictable changes in the future but fortunately, your presence has barely any impact on the future like that of a dead man, which will not impact the time flow. However, if I told you what happened in the future, the already messed up situation will worsen right away. My mission is to wait for the human that disrupted the time flow to appear. Jin Wu, you treated me with a great meal so I protected your life but if this is made known to others, you will die.”
“Human?”
Celestial Monarch Jin Wu asked in confusion, “What race is that?”
“You will know when the time comes. He will come looking for you in your territory.”

170,000 years had passed since that day. Turbulence rose up within the Hundun Celestial Race, the most mysterious clan among the 24 monarch races; their grand ancestor showed himself along with a Fusang Divine Tree that blossomed alluringly, shrouding the entire sacred ground with its red rays.
Ancient divinic psyches swept across the field and searched deep into the universe’s void.
After a moment, the grand ancestor summoned a young god from the Hundun Clan, had him bring the divine tree to him, which was later forged into a little branch and handed back over to the young god and ordered, “Hundun Yu, bring this to the Heaven Suppression Fortress and give the fruit on this branch to the human. After that, stay there and observed him in my place.”
“Observe him?” asked the confused young god.
“Yes, observe.”
Hundun’s grand ancestor said, “I came to this place 170,000 years ago to meet him but I’d entered the wrong timeline. The future is completely messed up, preventing me from observing him from Chaos so now, you will observe him for me by staying at his side.”
“Then what’s with the Chaos Divine Fruit?” asked the young god.
“It’s a trade.”
The grand ancestor said, “Bribe him with this so he won’t be able to chase you away.”
The young god asked again, “Then the tree? This tree had been planted and nurtured by you carefully for so many years, why have me bring it to him now? What’s the point?”
Hundun grand ancestor smiled and said, “You really are like me, as curious as me. The tree is to protect you. Now go, stop asking any questions. Go go go!”
Hundun Yu was left with no choice. He immediately brought the tree with him as he left. He rushed towards Heaven Suppression Fortress but not before he returned back to the ancestor after remembering something. He turned back to the sacred ground and asked, “Grand ancestor, you want me to look for this person but who is he? I can’t possibly just hand the fruit over to anybody that I come across with first! Ancestor? Hello? He is asleep again!”
Hence, his question remained unanswered and the confused Hundun Yu recklessly thought, Forget it! Once arriving at the fortress, I will just give the fruit to anyone I run into first and observe him!
Meanwhile in the fortress, Zhong Yue hurried the gods to forge the items and equipments for the war was about to come and with that, a fierce and tough battle!
