The celestial experts recognized him as well as their faces have changed drastically. They quickly took out the totem pillars and notified their higher-ups.
Feng Xiaozhong was a demon among demons. His name in the West Barren evoked fear into the celestial experts. Back in the days when he was still active in the cultivation world, Feng Xiaozhong annihilated many temples and races, all for the purpose of his research.

However, the emperor tomb is very dangerous as well, even the gods will die in there. Do you have confidence you can survive?”
“Certainly,” Feng Xiaozhong smiled, he had a unique air of his own that was incredibly charming as he said, “Lord Xia, Lord Kun and the others have entered the tomb for a long time already now. But there are still residual totem patterns surging out, it tells me that they are still not dead that. This also means that Bi Xie Celestial Emperor set up a trap and has entangled them in it now. But, given that the battle was still ongoing, it means that even Bi Xie Celestial Emperor doesn’t necessarily have the advantage as well.

“Swords Gate?” Zhong Yue was startled as he asked.
“It’s the sword in Swords Gate Mountain. If the sword is there piercing into Bi Xie Celestial Emperor’s heart, then it means that the sword owner knows of Bi Xie Celestial Emperor’s plan as well and doesn’t want it to happen.” Feng Xiaozhong said placidly, “That sword is a killing blow to Bi Xie Celestial Emperor. The time when he revives is the time that the sword kills him. Thus, it’ll very difficult for him to revive. But before his death, he can help me in taking down Shi Tuo, then he can die in peace later on and I can have my research material well-prepared for me to claim as well.”
Zhong Yue was stunned, “But have you ever thought about if things doesn’t go as planned? Against such powerful existences, you can be killed in just the snap of a finger!”
“What is death when I can have a look at the Dao of this world,” Feng Xiaozhong’s face was placid and he glanced at Zhong Yue. He shook his head and strode toward the emperor tomb. Zhong Yue watched as Feng Xiaozhong disappeared in the tomb entrance and thought, What is death in the face of the Dao … The Crazy Demon Feng Xiaozhong, maybe only he can be considered a true Dao Seeker … To him, there is no good or bad, evil or justice. Zhong Yue understood and respected Feng Xiaozhong but did not approve of his methods; Dao Seekers like Feng Xiaozhong may seem to be very free, but they weren’t anchored by concepts like their home, family, or friends.

Whether it be the celestial races or demons, they would all either try their best to kill Feng Xiaozhong or get as far away from him as they could. Even the humans were unwilling to have anything to do with Feng Xiaozhong.
But now, this one from the Zhu Jian Celestial Racewas actually conversing with Feng Xiaozhong an old friend; this brought up their suspicion.

“Did anyone see that? He turned into the look of the Zhu Jian Celestial Race just now! If he remained disguised, he could still walk out of West Barren alive, but now, he showed his true self! I wonder if he is really that brave or just pure idiotic!”
“How dare he still show himself here! Does he not know that he is wanted by the Zhong Li and Kun Peng Celestial Race?”
“I thought Peng Qianqiu and Peng Jinyi are after him under orders right now? Where are they?”

Suddenly, a few Heavenly Dharma level magnate Qi Practitioner could no longer restrain themselves and they all charged towards Zhong Yue to seize him.

Previously, he was still weak and he required Shui Zian’s protection to get out from the West Barren; he also needed to unsheathe his sword and fight to death in order to get out alive.
But now, he had grown to the extent where he would no longer require any aid from external sources.
Disguise was no longer needed for him as he travelled all the way back to the Great Wilderness from the West Barren and he just travelled past the territory of the celestial races in West Barren.
Even after he grew by a great extent, he still gave the respect the celestial races deserved by not flying over the top of their celestial temples.
It was not because that he was afraid but Zhong Yue shown them respect just to avoid unnecessary problems.
“Hahahaha! Zhong Yue from the humans, have you paid your respect to the mountain gods when you walk in the West Barren?”
Just as Zhong Yue entered the territory of the Shan Shen Celestial Race, one of the mountains trembled vigorously, causing giant rocks to roll down and the mountain to slowly stand up and turned into a four armed mountain giant. This mountain giant was a thousand meters tall and the Shan Shen Celestial Race’s totem carvings were all over his body.
This Shan Shen Celestial Race’s giant was a True Spirit magnate Qi Practitioner, and the clouds in the skies only reached his chest. The totem carvings on his body glowed, and his presence was incredibly huge. The giant then looked at Zhong Yue and said, “You dare dream of getting out West Barren alive without paying your respect to the mountain gods? Now, show your respect and pray to this mountain god in front of you!”
Speechless, Zhong Yue looked at the giant and he said with a smile, “Senior martial brother, it is alright for me to pray to the mountain gods but you as a demigod do not seem to deserve my prayers.”
The giant immediately stretched out his four arms and gigantic rock eyes appeared on his palms as he said, “How do you know that I do not deserve your prayers if you did not pray to me?”
“Alright then!”
As the【Celestial Demon Tai Chi Art】emerged around him, Zhong Yue bowed and prayed at him with millions of gods’ apparitions circling around the Tai Chi Art.

In an instant, Zhong Yue’s strength surged wildly and he looked even larger, scarier and stronger than the Shan Shen Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioner!
The giant’s face changed immediately, raised his hands to shield himself by unleashing all sorts of totem carvings that turned into rock solid walls in front of him.
The walls however, shattered under Zhong Yue’s attack！
Zhong Yue’s attack shaved away the rocks on the body of the mountain giant, toppling him and turning his size from a thousand metres tall into a few hundred metres in the blink of an eye!
Right away, the horrified mountain giant immediately got up and chickened away as he shouted, “Alright, alright! You can go now!”
Zhong Yue then walked away calmly and silently.
And when he got to the Gui Shen Celestial Race’s territory, bell and trumpet noise was heard. Zhong Yue looked up and all he saw were white banners floating in the air and white clothes hanging on the tree branches around the area. Far away, Zhong Yue felt cold wind blowing towards him and many white robed Gui Shen Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioners flying towards his direction in the air.
Among them, eight white robed Gui Shen Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioners carried a black coffin on a huge willow plank and the funeral music was played non stop.
White spiritual money was tossed up into the air by them as they travelled and suddenly, an ear piercing voice called, “The Ghost King is crossing, the lives shall all give path!”
They suddenly stopped and one of them shouted, “Zhong Yue, you have intruded our territory, the Ghost King wants to see you right now!”
Zhong Yue then replied politely, “By right, I should pay a visit to the lord of this place. May I know the whereabouts of the Ghost King right now so I can visit him?”
The Gui Shen Celestial Race’s member then said again eerily, “The Ghost King is in this coffin, and he invites you into the coffin. However, if you have no guts to enter the coffin, bow towards the coffin three times and you may go away!”
“Why should I be afraid?”
Zhong Yue laughed and he walked towards the coffin casually.
Creak——
Suddenly, a loud and harsh noise came from the coffin as the cover of the coffin opened up and a green and hairy hand grabbed towards Zhong Yue. A voice then could be heard saying, “Haha, I still need a person to lit up the light for me in the coffin….”
“Forgive me, Ghost King, I have no interest in that.”
Zhong Yue hurled his palm against the ghost hand, slamming the Ghost King back into the coffin before Zhong Yue threw the cover of the coffin back into its place, he then tapped onto the cover and said, “Seems like the Ghost King is shy to have me as his guest. I think it’s best for me not to bother him then.”
He then walked away while loud noises came from the coffin, as if a monster were trying to break free. But as Zhong Yue tapped onto the coffin, he planted totem carvings that sealed the coffin away.
If the coffin was not made with top graded materials, the Ghost King might still be able to escape by breaking the other parts of the coffin, but now, he couldn't break free at all and he shouted, “Bring me back! Take me to the high priest so he can lift the seals!”
Zhong Yue continued to travel forward an when he got to the Bi Fang Celestial Race’s territory, a pretty lady sat in a small booth at the mountain top with various dishes on the table in front of her and a few female servants. The lady then said, “I heard that Mr Zhong Yue will walk past here on your journey back to the Great Wilderness. Thus, I prepared some delicacies for you here, may I have the honor of inviting you to have a drink with me?”
The lady then poured the wine into the jade glass in front of her, and she saluted, “I hope you like it!”
The wine then gushed out from the jade glass immediately, turning into a fiery celestial flame that turned into the Fire God, Bi Fang before it pounced toward Zhong Yue!
With a laugh, Zhong Yue inhaled deeply, sucking the flame away and right away, the fragrant aroma and taste of the wine filled up his mouth, “Thank you for your drink, madame!”
The lady had a shock and she nodded at Zhong Yue before she ordered the girls behind her, “Since Mr Zhong Yue drank this wine of mine, he is free to get past our territory, no one shall stop him.”
After that, when Zhong Yue got past a celestial race’s temple, loud prayers could be heard suddenly and a godly spirit was awakened under the radiance of the divine rays.
The godly spirit then intercepted Zhong Yue and stood in his path, causing him to frown. He then quickly took out the copper lantern, opening the lid and unleashing godly weapons one after another, unveiling their relentless power!
With hesitation, the godly spirit immediately backed off and disappeared back into the celestial temple.
Zhong Yue bowed and saluted again before he left.
As he left, the godly spirit in the celestial temple then murmured, “Zhong Yue of the Zhong Shan Clan, if he wants to leave the West Barren, who dares to stop him?”
Chapter 482: I Never Cause Troubles |
In Zhong Yue’s secret realms, there was a land of a few dozen miles that was paved with godly soil. The godly rays were hovering above the soil, making it look like a fairyland. There were a total of 32 divine herbs planted here, and some of the naughty ones pulled themselves out and ran all over the place.
