He stamped on the ground and said, “We are standing in front of Patriarch Nature’s spirit, right in front of his mouth. Walk into the city, we will enter his mouth and he will eat us. Step back and return, we will fall into the endless loop of his Six Paths Reincarnations again. Only this place, the place we are standing on right now, is unaffected by his Six Paths Reincarnations. His Six Paths Reincarnations, the six Yuan Shen secret realms... they are like worlds he creates, it is impossible to injure him at all in there. But here, we can hurt him. Mother Da Zhen praised in her heart even though when they were enemies.
Patriarch Nature gave a cold snort while smiling, “Then what? One is a god, but just an insect, and still gravely wounded. Another one, not even a god, but a Fuxi rebel. You aren’t even a halfblood Fuxi! So I ask you, what does it matter that you’ve discovered my secrets? Do you think you can still leave alive?”
Mother Da Zhen’s face turned pale, Patriarch Nature was right. Any of the gods he can conjure up in his mini Six Paths Reincarnations could easily kill them both, let along Patriarch Nature himself.
He would probably be able to reduce them to ash with just the wave of a hand!
What use was it for Zhong Yue to uncover its mysteries? They still couldn’t escape death.
“It’s true, I can’t kill you." Zhong Yue nodded, he admitted that he was weak and powerless, “A god like you who is tens of times stronger than Bi Xie Celestial Emperor even in his peak state, let alone a mere Qi Practitioner like me.”
“Bi Xie Celestial Emperor?" Patriarch Nature jeered as he answered, “I’ve seen him before. He came once after the deaths of his subordinates, but stood far beyond my reach and left immediately after seeing me. Hehe, the Fuxi gods that died by my hands are even stronger than that little child.”
Zhong Yue nodded, “I am not a god, I am tens of times weaker than Bi Xie Celestial Emperor.”
“You overestimate yourself!" Patriarch Nature said.
“So, I am not your match." Zhong Yue said in an honest tone, “Not a single creature on the Ancestral Star can match your strength, not even the Deity Overlords. We can’t be saved, not at all. But thankfully, I still have a helper, she should be here anytime now.”
Just as he said that, a zither melody filled the surroundings. It sounded like the gentle weeping of a goddess beside a clear lake.
It was unclear where the zither sounds came from; it seemed so distance, as if it came from another dimension.
Patriarch Nature’s face changed drastically, he suddenly muffled a deep groan and shuddered violently as if he had received a colossal impact!
His skin cracked, and his muscles cut open. The zither sounds sliced across his body like swords and sabers, lacerating him bit by bit!
Patriarch Nature roared, he burst away but couldn’t leave the City of Nature formed by his own mortal body. Meanwhile, the zither sounds continued to follow him, no matter where he went!
Moments later, not single spot on his body was unwounded.
Yet the zither sounds never stopped, as if wanting to cut him down until he was reduced to particles!
Zhong Yue stood there quietly and watched. Patriarch Nature’s roars softened as they slowly turned into whimpers. Mother Da Zhen was completely terrified as she watched.
For three days straight, Patriarch Nature’s Yuan Shen was lacerated, torn, cut, and sliced until he died while Zhong Yue stood there and watched without even blinking his eyes.
After seeing Patriarch Nature’s death, Zhong Yue closed his eyes and murmured softly while bloody tears rolled down his cheeks, “My people, my ancestors, can you see it…”

As soon as the zither stopped playing, a little girl’s voice spread across the area, “Bad flame, little Fuxi, I’m not saving you two, I’m just here to avenge my people!”
Zhong Yue replied, “Thank you, Sister Zither.”
All of a sudden, a blast of sound waves ravaged their ears, and the City of Nature cracked at the middle.
“Sister Zither, the battle, why…" Zhong Yue hesitated as he asked, “...why weren’t you all there?”
The zither sounds faded away as the little girl answered, “It’s complicated, we were entangled with many things and couldn’t help in the battle at all. Even the Earthly Sovereigns’ spirits were barred from descending from the Void World. All you see now, everything you know, is just the tip of the iceberg. There are many more things in play underneath the calm sea…”
The zither sound stopped and Haoyi Zither was sent back into the imperial tomb again.
Zhong Yue kept silent, Even the Earthly Sovereigns’ spirits were trapped in the Void World? What kind of existence is capable of doing such a thing?
Suddenly, he remembered something and laughed, “Mother Da Zhen, it’s time for us to settle our hatred.”
Mother Da Zhen shivered, she quickly laughed, “Zhong Yue, considering all the things we’ve been through together, I’d say we a strong bond between…”
She abruptly waved her claws at him while raising her butt high and shot out a spiderweb at him!
Meanwhile, Zhong Yue bowed and said, “Mother Da Zhen, there is no need to fight back anymore, you can’t change anything at all!”
As soon as he bowed, the Divine Wing Saber burst out from his light wheels and severed the two claws as well as broke the spiderweb!
Mother Da Zhen released a shrill whistle and reverted to her true form. Her body swirled like a hurricane and the spikes on her body clashed with the Divine Wing Saber.
In just the blink of an eye, countless bone spurs were broken by the Divine Wing Saber while the saint weapon was also constantly forced back from the collisions!
Bang, bang, bang—
The poisonous pouches on her back exploded, filling the surroundings with a noxious gas.
Meanwhile, Zhong Yue’s bow also burst out in power; gods emerged behind him and bowed together.

Right when her feet left the ground, Zhong Yue’s mortal body enlarged into a ten thousand feet giant. He reached out for the Divine Wing Saber and cleaved it down heavily to the front!
The saber ray grew longer as it slashed forward, leaving a deep mark on the ground. Right at the moment Mother Da Zhen was going to fly through the crack on the city wall, the saber ray slashed down and killed her within the City of Nature!
Her mortal body was cleaved in half as they smacked into the sides of the city wall.
Zhong Yue swung his hand and the Golden Peng Swords swarmed out like a hurricane. The golden swords rained down on her remains, crushing all of the insect eggs in her body!
Zhong Yue hurled the Divine Wing Saber up into the sky while clasping his hands together, forming the【Shaohao Bell】in front of him. The bell sounded out with its resonant tolls that pulverized Mother Da Zhen’s remains and the insect eggs into ash
“Mang-gu—" the six-eyed Star Toad emerged behind him and roared again, turning the ashes into the tiniest particles that dispersed in the winds!
Then, a pair of golden wings spread out behind him, and the Golden Crow shot out like an arrow let loose. The godly sunfire that cloaked it burned everything around it!
“Zhong Yue, you, you! I swear I will kill you!" Mother Da Zhen’s Yuan Shen shrieked within the fire as she cried while dashing out of the city. She really lived up to an insect race mother god, being incredibly hard to kill; even after so many rounds of assaults.
Clearly, it was the insect worship that she had laid in this continent that had protected her Yuan Shen from true death!
“Da Zhen, do you still remember the array formation I taught you?" Zhong Yue sneered coldly.
Mother Da Zhen startled, she couldn’t understand why was he was suddenly bringing this up so.
But of course she couldn’t forget about it. It was exactly what had brought her to where she stands now. If it weren’t for Zhong Yue pretending to be an ancient lamp god to deceive her, none of this would’ve happened!
However, the 【Heaven and Earth Sacrificial Art】 required the altars to cast. It was too late for Zhong Yue to cast it out now.
“Along the way into the city, I had already placed the altars in various spots. As soon as you leave the city, the altars I placed in the divine gold mine will be triggered and you’ll die for good." Zhong Yue said while Mother Da Zhen flew out from the City of Nature.
His words caused to be flip with shock. But right before she could make a turn away from the divine gold mine, glimmering totem pattern emerged in the divine gold mine.
“Not even the 【Heaven and Earth Sacrificial Art】 can kill me!" Mother Da Zhen shrieked as she forced her way through toward the end of the divine gold mine. But her Yuan Shen grew faint and her strength waned at an alarming rate. Her Yuan Shen started to fade, and her spirit blurred as her soul ignited.
But she wasn’t the only one; the whole divine gold mine around was also burning as it was sacrificed to the heaven and earth!
Not only did he place the altars to sacrifice Mother Da Zhen, but Zhong Yue also included the whole divine gold mine as part of the 【Heaven and Earth Sacrificial Art】!
Mother Da Zhen was crying in pain but her destiny had arrived. Her Yuan Shen grew fainter, her spirit dispersed and her soul dissipated into the heaven and earth!
Zhong Yue raised his hand and recalled the Divine Wing Saber. As he swung it softly, the many Golden Peng Swords flew over and reattached themselves to the saint weapon. He kept the Divine Wing Saber while mumbling, “In truth, I was just planning to use the divine gold mine as a starter to oblate the whole City of Nature. However, I’m not sure if it would work at all, and also, my connection with the altars was severed as soon as I stepped into the city. But it is more than enough to kill you…”
“If you were not brought down, I will never be able to eat or sleep well. What if you told the world that I acquired the treasures in the City of Nature? Or tell the others that I am a Fuxi?" Zhong Yue mumbled.
“The innate Qi, innate Qi… where can it be?" Zhong Yue glanced around the city.
All of a sudden, the crack on the city wall shuddered and was slowly closed like a healing wound!
The City of Nature was Patriarch Nature’s mortal body. This ancient god must have also cultivated the Immortal Body, to a level beyond Zhong Yue’s reach!
Although dead, his mortal body still remained ‘immortal’. It could still recover the wounds created on it, even though the wound was created by terrifying weapons like the Haoyi Zither!
Zhong Yue’s heart throbbed, he shouted, “Xin Huo, where can this innate Qi be? Also, the spiritual energy Patriarch Nature siphoned all these years?”
Xin Huo quickly shouted, “Not sure about the innate Qi, but the spiritual energy will be in his Six Paths Reincarnations! He used the Six Paths Reincarnations to trap the dead souls, the spiritual energy must be in them too!”
“Six Paths Reincarnations?" Zhong Yue was dawned.
Patriarch Nature cultivated his six secret realms into a miniature Six Paths Reincarnation, that granted him with incredible powers!
Haoyi Zither killed Patriarch Nature’s spirit, but his Six Paths Reincarnations wasn’t destroyed. The six light wheels were floating around the city where Patriarch Nature died. But these six light wheels were incredibly huge, the largest one was nearly as huge as the city itself. It would be immensely difficult to keep them.
Zhong Yue dashed out while the City of Nature shuddered again, further closing the wound.
Zhong Yue cast the copper lamp and pushed all of his arcane energy into the copper lamp while he aimed the lamp at the six light wheels.
A huge force burst out from the shabby looking copper lamp, it distorted the dimension in front of it and pulled the six light wheels toward it!
Krong!
The city shuddered once again, the crack on the city wall was nearly closed.
Zhong Yue’s face changed. Meanwhile, he finally kept the Six Paths Reincarnations into the copper lamp. Immediately, he morphed into the form of the three-legged Golden Crow and shot out toward the crack on the city wall.
His body turned flat like a piece of paper and slipped through the closing crack on the city wall. Another shudder came from the city and the crack was closed. His three legs were caught in the city wall, stopping him from going further.
But Zhong Yue acted without any hesitation. He cast the Golden Peng Sword and severed his three legs away. Thus, he fell straight down onto the ground right outside of the city wall.
“Phew, I barely made it. If it was my neck that was caught in the city wall, I would’ve lost my head. I not sure if the Immortal Body would be able to keep me alive even after that." Zhong Yue heaved a breath of relief.
The divine gold mine was still burning. Zhong Yue looked at it for a few moments, concluding that it couldn’t be saved anymore, not a single piece of divine gold would be left behind after the ritual.
Pity, this divine gold mine could’ve been used to make every Swords Gate disciple a divine weapon…
He sighed as he lamented in his heart. He took out the Six Paths Reincarnations from the copper lamp and inspected them. When he looked into the Yin Yang Reincarnation, he saw the bottomless pit with countless Fuxi skeletons trapped in it.
“My people…" Zhong Yue’s eyes turned red and he laughed while tears rolled down his cheeks, “Come home with me!”
