On top of that, there were also falling stars, sun and moon that added more destruction to the horrifying apocalypse!
This sacrificial ritual was way too disastrous and when Zhong Yue, Tian Mo Concubine and the others stood at the edge of the altar, they felt like they were standing in the center of the world as it slowly self destructed.
And the death of the demon Qi Practitioners and the insect species was the prelude to Zhong Yue and the others’ deaths.
They too, if nothing happened, would end up being sacrificed along with the rest of the world and be turned into the purest form of energy and then absorbed by Demon Saint!

Suddenly, the sound of a bell ringing was heard from one of the court ladies as a bell on her wrist started to float and showed signs of disintegration!
The power of the ritual had finally spread to them and started to affect their soul weapons.
At the edge of the altar, Zhong Yue and the others felt their strength becoming unstable and it seemed as if their Yuan Shen was being pulled out from their body!
This was extremely dangerous since the ritual had started to affect them, not long after, they would disintegrate and turn into nutrients for Demon Saint.
“Concubine, what do we do?” asked the panicked court ladies as they looked towards the three concubines.
However, the three concubines, were also unsure of what to do and cold sweat dripped down their foreheads. Even though they were at the top of their league, their strength was nothing when compared to the apocalypse in front of them.
It was a deadlocked situation where everyone was doomed!
Tian Mo Concubine quickly looked towards Zhong Yue who seemed to be in his own world thinking about something.
Suddenly, about ten court ladies could not hold themselves back anymore and quickly rushed towards the altar to avoid being killed by the ritual but just as their feet landed on the altar, they exploded and turned into a blood mist that got absorbed into the blood pool floating in the skies.
Whoever stepped foot on the altar would become sacrifices while those under the altar would be destroyed by the apocalypse and turned into sacrifices.
Shura looked into the distance and realized that other than them, the other demons and the insect species had all died.
“Hop on my boat first!” shouted Shura as he took out his boat again.
Everyone boarded the boat while Zhong Yue sat on the bow and looked around everywhere. His actions quickly got Shura’s attention who then shouted angrily, “Mo Luo, what are you thinking about? Help us pour energy into the boat to speed it up!”
“I am thinking about why the remnant of the Creator did not resist Demon Saint” replied Zhong Yue as he look at the beheaded body of the Creator which had turned back into flesh from stone and was slowly being dissolved by the sacrificial power.
Shura asked angrily, “Have you figured it out yet!?”
“I am about to but I am not sure about some parts of it yet….” replied Zhong Yue.
“Stop thinking, we will be dead by the time you figure it out!”
“Give me a little more time.”
Meanwhile, another blood talisman was depleted and another one was pulled out by Demon Saint and the ritual continued.
Demon Saint continued to maintain his strength at the level of Demonic God, which eliminated any chances of anyone attacking him.
As the storm raged, huge tidal waves appeared all over the blood pool. Each time the lightning struck, the skies would be lit up a blood red colour and the shadow of the nine Demonic Gods and Demon Saint appeared even more scary.
At this moment, Shura was slowly giving up hope but he said, “Mister Mo Luo, let us try one last time! We will give up our body and unleash our demonic spirit, summon our people to pray to our spirits in an attempt to awaken them and help ourselves return to the Demonic God level! Then, we might have a chance to kill Demon Saint and free ourselves from this situation….”
To Shura’s dismay and fear, Zhong Yue shook his head and replied, “Can you still sense the outside so that our people can pray for us right now even after the Triad Ritual has begun?”
As the Triad Ritual began, its power had covered the entire secret realm, blocking off any links the secret realm had with the outside world, thus, what Shura suggested was unable to be executed.
It was their last hope yet, it was shattered mercilessly.
Demon Saint had planned everything so well that he left literally no chances for them to escape at all!
The Heavenly Demon Secret Realm was a independent dimension created by the Creator with unimaginable power and with the secret realm sacrificed in the ritual, the knowledge and energy contained in the totem carving pieces of the world would be absorbed by Demon Saint!
They would allow Demon Saint to increase his strength and grant him a chance to achieve even more than he had in his previous life or maybe he would even become another Creator in the future!
As the situation worsened, the place where the Black Well Keep was located turned into a huge pit while the keep and the saint mountain had disappeared from sight!
Even the black well itself, twisted by some kind of unseen power, dragged everything around it as it twisted and mountains, trees, rocks and ground all got sucked in by the black well, causing a huge ruckus that attracted the attention of the demons within a few thousand miles.
They did not do anything however as they were unsure of what was happening and they too, were afraid.
Meanwhile, ten Demonic Embryos formed in the skies in the secret realm while energy, totem carving chains and power surrounded the embryos and surged into them.
On the boat of Shura, the group barely managed to keep their balance as their strength was slowly siphoned away and the boat was on the verge of flipping over!
Zhong Yue on the other hand, continued staring at the remnant of the Creator, observing how it got disintegrated by the ritual and he suddenly said, “I get it now!”
“What can it do now!” shouted Shura as he completely gave up struggling.
“More than you think!” replied Zhong Yue.
Zhong Yue then said seriously, “The remnant of the Creator turned itself into a stone as a way to protect and seal itself to avoid being eroded by time. In this form, even Demon Saint could not do anything to it and when the remnant of the Creator returned to flesh form, it would be in its weakest state and there would be a risk of being sacrificed.”
“As long as he recovers from his stone form, his flesh will be devoured bit by bit and slowly, he will be killed in his slumber! The most crucial part of the ritual requires the remnant of the Creator to not awaken!”
Zhong Yue let out a deep breath and said, “If we want to break free from this situation, we must wake the remnant of the Creator from slumber!”
“What’s the use of saying that? We can’t do it by ourselves,” said Shura coldly.
Zhong Yue laughed and replied, “Have you forgotten that I have someone covering my back?”
Immediately, Shura recalled when Zhong Yue said that there was someone that supported him back in the Black Well Keep and this someone was called “Bo Xun”. When Zhong Yue mentioned Bo Xun’s name, the entire Black Well Keep started to shake as if affected by a tremendous presence and because of that, everyone suspected that Bo Xun was a living Demonic God that protected Zhong Yue.
Hearing this, a spark of hope lit up in Shura’s heart again but he was still skeptical about it and he asked again, “But it is impossible since the link has been cut off, there’s no way we could reach the outside world now….”
“But Bo Xun can for sure!”
Zhong Yue then looked up into the skies and thought to himself, The only problem is that I’m on the blacklist of the remnant of Creator. Will the remnant kill me along with Demon Saint when he wakes up?”
Meanwhile, everything proceeded according to Demon Saint’s plan, Demon Saint continued to absorb the remnant of the Creator’s flesh steadily and shouted, “At last, I am about to finish my plan that took me an entire life to accomplish!”
Demon Saint stood there with his hands behind his back and as he looked at the gradually maturing Demonic Embryos, he said, “From now on, I am unstoppable in this world!”
At the same time on the boat that was struggling in the roaring water, Shura shouted angrily, “Mo Luo, if you don’t call in your backup now, we will all die!”
“What backup?” asked Demon Saint curiously when he heard Shura’s shout.
At his side, Demon Queen quickly whispered and Demon Saint said curiously again, “So Mister Mo Luo still has someone to protect you, you may call him out now to provide more energy to my embryos!”
Zhong Yue then laughed and said, “Are you sure you are not going to regret it, Demon Saint?”
“So your protector is called Bo Xun? Call him out as you wish for I want to see how he will die in my hands!” replied Demon Saint.
Zhong Yue then shouted calmly, “Bo Xun!”
In an instant, the now dark surroundings darkened even more and the rampaging apocalypse froze in an instant.

Silence.
It was deathly quiet after the name was mentioned!
The disastrous effects triggered by the Triad Ritual were unstoppable, or so it seemed. Even the divine weapons couldn’t withstand it and were disintegrating, even heaven and earth could be taken down, and even the Creator’s scattered spirit couldn’t put up a notable fight!
However, the unstoppable Triad Ritual was stopped, the unworldly energies and powers in the air halted and ceased moving while the dazzling totem pattern chains didn’t emerge anymore and the ten Demon Embryos stopped growing.
Oppressed.
The surroundings turned indescribably oppressing!
They could feel themselves being squeezed as if there was an ever-increasing pressure bearing down on them, making it incredibly difficult for them to even breath.
Demon Saint’s confident face changed drastically and he scanned the surroundings for anything odd but to no avail. There wasn’t anyone coming towards them or any signs of a god. But the oppressive force that was weighing on them was clear and evident, it felt as if it was coming from right beside him.
Zhong Yue was also undulating with restlessness, the atmosphere was suffocating while beside him, Shura had a shocked face and Tian Mo Concubine said in a quivering voice, “Dear, do you really have a guardian? He feels so terrifying….”
Before Zhong Yue could answer her question, Demon Saint yelled a war cry and the five light wheels behind him revolved rapidly, all of the Demon God Blood Charms flew out and burned vigorously!
He was tense and couldn’t afford to let the situation slip out of his control, plus the air was so oppressive that even the Triad Ritual was stopped. Thus, he couldn’t hold back anymore and went all out, burning more of the Demon God Blood Charms to power the Triad Ritual!
Demon Saint growled furiously, the nine demon gods emerged again and they poured their powers into the array diagram and the altar, while he yelled, “Up!”
The stopped Triad Ritual moved once again, but this time at a much slower speed as if there was an opposing force countering it. The opposing force was so strong that it had exceeded Demon Saint’s limit and could even compete with the whole Triad Ritual!
Who is this Bo Xun?
Demon Saint grit his teeth so hard that blood spilled from his gums, he was shocked in his heart and thought, No matter who he is, I will never allow him to stop my ritual! Whoever stands in my way shall die in my hands!
“Bo Xun?” Zhong Yue looked at the remnant of the Creator’s head and called again. He was puzzled since he saw the severed head quake for a few moments but it had not awakened.
He had mentioned ‘Bo Xun’ and yet, the head did not awaken, he couldn’t help but to doubt if the Creator’s name was truly ‘Bo Xun’ or not.
Krong——
The heaven and earth distorted, there was demonic Qi rushing over as the altar quaked violently. Cracking sounds could be heard coming from the array diagram and soon, cracks appeared on the surface of the altar.
Demon Saint spit out a mouth full of blood and shouted in anger with the blood still trickling down his face while the nine demon gods flew up from the altars into the nine Demon Embryos, “What bullshit! Bo Xun? Who are you? A coward that doesn’t even dare to meet me in my Triad Ritual? Staying outside like a rat that lives in the dark!?”
There were ten Demon Embryos above the altar, the strongest and greatest one was situated in the center. The other nine were the demon god seeds whereas the Demon Embryo in the center was the Heavenly Saint Demon Embryo, the core of the【Heavenly Saint Godly Radiating Art】.
Once the Heavenly Saint Demon Embryo matured, Demon Saint’s Yuan Shen would possess it and from then onward, he would ascend to a stage he could never have reached in his last life!
While as of now, the Heavenly Saint Demon Embryo was filled with an immense aura, it felt as boundless as the heaven and as heavy as the earth, its demonic aura was unworldly as if it came from the deep abyss of hell itself. Its existence had given a suppressing air to the surroundings.
It was still an unmatured Demon Embryo, if the heaven and earth oblation ritual was completed, it would be even stronger than that Ao Clan’s dragon ancestor!
These ten Demon Embryos were all composed of pure energies, they contained profound knowledge and the totem patterns that materialized into their physical forms were the life experiences and attainments of the Creator.
By making the ten Demon Embryos his, Demon Saint could not only restore himself back to his peak form in his last life, but he would stand on an even higher ground than before!
He would eventually, become the next demon Creator!
However, as of this moment, all of the ten Demon Embryos were still maturing and going into them would give him lesser achievements. But Zhong Yue had called ‘Bo Xun’ twice, the heteromorphisms and pressures that emerged were way too shocking so Demon Saint could only enter the nine Demon God Seed Demon Embryos to secure at least part of the benefits brought by the Triad Ritual so that he could have enough strength to go against the mysterious Bo Xun!
However, the Heavenly Saint Demon Embryo was left untouched because once it had matured, he could still achieve a greater level than he did in his last life, he would only require a little more time to do so.
He had extensive knowledge and was experienced, the power of Bo Xun was way too strong so he would have to act quickly and absorb the nine Demon Embryos so that he could take down Bo Xun and continue his Triad Ritual later.
As long as this mysterious Bo Xun was killed, he could see the completion of the Triad Ritual!
“Xin Huo, is this Creator really called Bo Xun?” Zhong Yue was unsure and asked.
Xin Huo laughed and said, “For sure he is! Just call him one more time, he will wake up. After all, he has sensed you, he just isn’t fully awakened yet. Call him one more time and he will wake up for sure, to kill you that is.”
Zhong Yue was speechless, he furrowed his brows and said loudly, “Bo Xun, why aren’t you coming out to awaken the Creator’s scattered spirit?”
As of now, the Creator’s scattered spirit was weakening with every second, the surface of the saint mountain had been completely disintegrated and the white skull inside was exposed to the air. The skull was densely covered with innate totem patterns, these were the totem patterns that naturally came as part of the birth of the innate demon Creator, they held abstruse knowledge in them and they were also what Demon Saint longed for the most!
Even these innate totem patterns were disintegrating in the Triad Ritual!
However, right as Zhong Yue finished his sentence mentioning Bo Xun for the third time, the innate totem patterns that densely covered Bo Xun’s skull stopped disintegrating. Two demon fireballs suddenly emerged inside of the two darker than black eye sockets as if there were two demon suns burning in Bo Xun’s eyes.
“Inheritor … I can feel you … once again … pain, this is really …. Pain….”
The altar exploded into pieces and the Triad Ritual collapsed, the immense energy in the sea of blood buzzed sonorously in their ears before the sea of blood scattered out in all directions and streamed everywhere like rivers while the whole secret realm quaked vigorously as it fell into the real world, connecting to the outside and crushing the topography around as it descended into the Eight Barren demon land!
The Creator’s scattered spirit was only left with a bare skull, his mouth moved up and down and a voice spoke even without the existence of a vocal cord, “Who? Who is doing this? How dare you try to sacrifice me!”
The voice alone created a powerful sound wave that struck Demon Saint, he spit out a mouth full of blood and was sent flying into the air. The nine demon gods suddenly moved collaboratively to withstand the sound wave while the demon concubines and court ladies with Demon Queen all died on the spot. Whereas the intelligent Demon Queen had rushed behind the nine demon gods, attempting to survive the soundwave after doing so she ran away right after.
She was an intelligent girl, she knew that Demon Saint’s plan had failed the moment Bo Xun awakened and there were no other possibilities for success anymore!
“Oh my heaven….”
Shura raised his head and looked at the enormous head, he mumbled, “Mister Mo Luo, your Bo Xun awakened the Creator’s scattered spirit, how was he actually able to do that? You must introduce me to this Bo Xun!”
“I sure will, if there is a chance!”
Zhong Yue surged his arcane energy into the wooden boat and yelled, “Guys, why aren’t we moving?”
Krong!
The nine demon gods were struck into the sky while Demon Saint could be seen lunging over to the Heavenly Saint Demon Embryo. Then, an ear-deafening roar was let out by the Creator’s scattered spirit that sent him flying again, after that the giant head then leaped into the air and ate the Heavenly Saint Demon Embryo!
