The heads of the races were angered by the two juniors, their voices trembled throughout the sky. Shi Buyi suddenly laughed and refuted, “You think we will believe what you said? Tell anyone at all, let me know if anyone ever believes you! The Zhong Shan Clan member destroyed the insect planet? The Zhong Shan Clan member wiped away the insect race? Only idiots like you will utter such nonsense! Grand Elder Shui, let me ask you, are you Swords Gate going to hand out the Zhong Shan Clan member or not!?”
Mister Kun Da said placidly from the side, “If you hand him out, we can leave in peace. But if you don’t, I promise you the blood of humanity will dye this beautiful land red.”
The whole Swords Gate erupted with anger as countless disciples looked at Shui Zian while the grand elder had no say in it. He raised his hands and shrugged while saying awkwardly, “Senior martial brothers, it’s not that I don’t want to, but I’m not the headmaster nor am I appointed as the acting headmaster as well. Only the acting headmaster can make the decision.”
Feng Wuji smiled victoriously, he said, “Senior martial brothers, let us all calm ourselves first. As long as there is a person in charge who can make the decision. Grand Elder Shui, who is your acting headmaster?”
Shui Zian raised his finger and pointed at Zhong Yue, he said helplessly, “That will be Zhong Yue, so you will have to ask him if he is willing to give himself up.”
The heads of the races were stunned, Zhong Yue was the acting headmaster? Asking him if he is willing to hand himself out? It is truly a joke.
Shi Buyi cleared his throat, he said while smiling, “Zhong Yue, for the future of your race, for the greater good of Swords Gate, I suggest you surrender.”
Zhong Yue caressed little Xuan Yuan’s head and replied, “I have no such intention.”
The high priest of the Gui Shen Celestial Race smirked coldly and said, “That being said, Swords Gate has decided to wage war against us, against the world?”
Zhong Yue was placid as he said softly, Please that say that. My little heart can’t bear the pressures. In my panic, I might just be unable to control my mouth and order the disciples to cast the Four Beast Banners and seal the dimension around us. With over forty divine weapons striking into the sealed dimension, you will all be killed. I really don’t want that to happen because I really wouldn’t know what to do after that.”
Everyone’s faces faltered drastically, they were all piqued in anger and shocked at the same time.
Zhong Yue was threatening them, openly and blatantly threatening them!
“The humans have divine weapons, do the other races don’t?" Shi Buyi replied placidly, “The dragon race, the demon race and celestial race all have their own saint weapons. Even the monster race has a few divine weapons of our own. Zhong Yue, you threaten us with the divine weapons of Swords Gate, aren’t you afraid of mutual destruction?”
Zhong Yue, however, was even calmer than Shi Buyi, he said, “Taking you all down is more than enough. If senior martial brothers are all brave and courageous enough to test me, then I honestly don’t mind trying. Eliminating all of the strongest existence of the many races and washing our Swords Gate Mountain with your blood would be a rather satisfactory outcome.”
“You!" The heads were all shocked and shouted in anger.
“Now I ask you, so you dare to test me?" Zhong Yue raised his head, he looked at the heads and a warm, bright smile that belied the severity of the threat he just uttered.

The heads were all humiliated. But they didn’t dare criticize him anymore, after all, who was to say that he really wouldn’t do it? Who was daring enough to bet their own lives on such a risky gamble?
They were here to accuse and sentence Zhong Yue, they thought that with the influence and strength of their races, they would be able to coerce Swords Gate into handing out Zhong Yue. Thus, they had only brought some experts and ordinary divine weapons with them instead of saint weapons.
But now, they realized how huge a mistake they have made.
The human race had over 40 divine weapons and over 20 magnates on their side. With the Great Wilderness humans and Swords Gate Qi Practitioners worshipping the spirits and casting the divine weapons, it wouldn’t be too hard a job to finish them off away. There was at least a 90 percent probability of success.
They were here impose pressuring on the humans to follow their request, but now, they were actually being threatened instead. ‘Are you afraid?’ Such words were a total humiliation to them.
However, what was even more humiliating was that they couldn’t fight back at all, or otherwise, they could really die here and now.
The heads of the races gritted their teeth, they cursed in their hearts, but deep down, they knew they were helpless.
If the Zhong Yue really does it, he would be even more of a madman than that Feng Xiaozhong!
All of a sudden, the tense atmosphere was softened by Shui Zian’s laughter. Shui Zian said, “Friends… Haha, friends! Our acting headmaster is just making a joke with you all. Please, senior martial brothers, forgive our acting headmaster for being so playful. Now, why don’t we enter the palace and have some tea first before continuing our discussions?”
He stepped out and gave the heads a platform to save their faces. After all, even if the human race were able to wipe out the heads of the races, Swords Gate wouldn’t be able to conquer the world either.
In fact, the Great Wilderness and Swords Gate would have to face the wrath of the world and also the hermit gods in the Ancestral Star. Thus, simply threatening the heads and letting them know that humans were no longer their playthings was already enough for now.
Zhong Yue smiled, he said, “Senior martial brothers, Grand Elder Shui has saved my life before. Since he said it’s a playful joke, then let it be a joke. However, such jokes should only be made once.... After all, I’m not a scholar whose hands are clean of blood. I have killed more than I can count and I don’t mind adding another few thousand to the count.”
His smile was warm and gentle, but when the heads saw it, they felt a ravenous hunger to kill lurking behind those eyes.
All of a sudden, the Ao Clan’s clan master asked, “Zhong Yue, let me ask you just this once, have you colluded with the insect race?”
“No," Zhong Yue shook his head, he said, “The insect planet has already been taken down by me. But the insect gods and mother gods might have survived. If they did, they will surely come for the Ancestral Star and when they arrive, you will know that I’m not lying at all.”
The dragon race’s clan masters exchanged a look and discussed amongst themselves. After a few moments, the Ao Clan’s clan master said politely, “If that’s the case, then we will trust Elder Zhong. Thank you for offering the tea but we still have other matters to attend to. Please do excuse us for now.”
Zhong Yue replied politely, “Forgive me for being unable to send you off as I still have guests here with me.”
“It’s alright.”

The heads of the races watched as the dragon race left. At that instant, they knew it was impossible to execute the plan anymore and they wanted to leave as well. But suddenly, a voice trembled the sky and descended down from the clouds, “Zhong Yue, your divine weapons can threaten them, but can they threaten me?”
Then, demonic clouds flew over and covered the sky, forming into a huge face.
A surge of demonic godly aura pressed down from the sky and suppressed the divine weapons. Swords Gate quaked and the Qi Practitioners struggled to stay standing upright.
Zhong Yue raised his head up and saw an imposing demon god standing in mid-air. His head was covered by the lightning zone, it was the demon race’s demon god — Yanmo He!
Yanmo He’s mortal body was so huge that his head pierced into the cloud layers. The godly aura around him had suppressed the divine weapons to the ground and although the human race could still cast the divine weapons up after worshipping them, these divine weapons couldn’t unleash too much power anymore under the suppression.
The powers of these divine weapons were greatly impaired and weren’t as strong as before anymore, they couldn’t threaten the heads anymore.
Zhong Yue and Shui Zian frowned while the heads of the races were overjoyed.
“Demon god Yanmo He! He is here personally!" The saint clan master of the Yama saint Clan laughed and said, “Now, Zhong Yue, can you still act as presumptuous as you were before?”
Shi Buyi was also smiling, he stroked his long beard and said, “Threatening others and getting threatened in return instead. You seemed to have quite a bit of fun threatening us, why don’t you threaten us again now and see?”
The demon race saint clan masters were feeling incredibly good. Yanmo He was the demon god of the Yama Saint Clan but was also a god of the demon race. One of the two gods that managed to escape back from the insect planet!
Zhong Yue was just talking about killing them, but with Yanmo He on their side now, they would have no fear of Zhong Yue’s threatenings anymore!
Mister Kin Da said frigidly, “You tried to humiliate us, and are now being humiliated back. How do you feel?”
“I want to know now, what other moves does the wise Zhong Yue have now?”
Shui Zian’s face changed drastically. The arrival of the demon god Yanmo He had caught them all by surprise. The weapons and experts of Swords Gate were more than enough to target the Qi Practitioners, but they could never threaten a god!
“Zhong Yue, do you know of your sins?" Yanmo He lowered his head, shooting a burning glare of eyes burning in demonic fire at Zhong Yue.
Zhong Yue remained calm as he raised his head and stared back at the demon god, he said while laughing, “Senior god, have I committed?”
Yanmo He gave a cold snort, and he said indifferently, “We gods have been ambushed by the insect race and only two managed to survive. If even gods barely survived, how can you, a mere Qi Practitioner make it out? We are gods and you are just a Heavenly Dharma Qi Practitioner!”
Zhong Yue maintained his usual calm amidst the interrogation, “What the gods can’t do, doesn’t mean I can’t as well. Senior god, when you were running for your life, so was I. And when you ran out of the insect planet, I destroyed it and broke the dimensional tunnel that lead them to us directly. If you don’t believe us, just head over to the North Barren Ancient Frozen Capital and check it out yourself. You will know that I’m not lying.”
Yanmo He smirked, he said, “I know the tunnel is broken, but how can you prove that it was done by you?”
The heads of the races nodded while the Gui Shen high priest said, “The insect race wants you to be their spy, that’s why they intentionally broke the tunnel.”
“Idiot," Zhong Yue glared a pair of cold eyes and said, “The tunnel was formed by the mother queen’s mouth, you think the insect race will break it just so I can be here? You should really at least pretend to think before speaking.”
“You!" The Gui Shen high priest shouted back at him with anger.
Zhong Yue lowered his head and sighed, “If there weren’t so many humans here left in the Ancestral Star, I wouldn’t have destroyed the insect planet for the other brainless beasts. But we humans are really condemned to living on the same planet as you imbeciles, how unfortunate…”
“Zhong Yue, what did you say!?" The heads bellowed at him.
Even Yanmo He couldn’t help but to be taunted, he laughed and said, “Mere humans, you are just the lowest life form on the Ancestral Star, how dare you call us brainless beasts, you humans are in the truth, two-legged animals we raise to be consumed as food!”
Zhong Yue didn’t answer them and mumbled on his own still, “If I can kill them all, I would very gladly to do it. But there is a bigger enemy in front of us, I still have to work with these bastards…”
Yanmo He’s face turned gloomy, the thunder rumbled and clouds stirred. Lightning brewed in the sky and rained down beside Zhong Yue, shattering the stone and rock into pieces.
This was the power of the gods, every movement they made would call upon the rain and wind!
“Zhong Yue, say it again!" Yanmo He bellowed.
Zhong Yue sighed, he raised little Xuan Yuan up and lamented, “The heads of the races suspected how I made it back to the Ancestral Star and whether I colluded with the insect race. But none have ever suspected Yanmo He of making it back? Is it because he is a god, that’s why he can’t be suspected and I’m just a Qi Practitioner, so I can simply be accused of anything? Yanmo He, I suspect you have fraternized with the insect race, do you admit to your sins?”
Yanmo He’s face turned darker than the gloomy sky, he stared at Zhong Yue colder than the ice and all of a sudden, he laughed and said, “I was hesitating if I should wipe away you and your Swords Gate before this, but now, I have made my decision and whoever stands in my way will die along with humanity!”
He was filled with killing intent and demonic Qi filled every corner of the Great Wilderness. He was finally going to wipe out Zhong Yue and Swords Gate!
“Slash him," Zhong Yue smiled and said to little Xuan Yuan.
Then, the little child in Zhong Yue’s arms raised his finger and pointed at the demon god, he said in an incredibly cute tone, “Sword sword, slash him!”
“Sword sword?" everyone in Swords Gate were puzzled, they thought, What sword sword?

The divine sword hovering behind little Xuan Yuan suddenly enlarged into a 70 mile long sword, it was filled with godly aura and it slashed down at Yanmo He!
Yanmo He’s face changed drastically. The divine sword was an emperor-level divine weapon forged by the Human Sovereign. And with the Human Sovereign still living, his power would continuously enhance the divine sword so as to help little Xuan Yuan in controlling the sword.
With the divine sword locking down Yanmo He’s Yuan Shen, there was simply nowhere for the demon god to run or hide!
It was simply an unstoppable force that no gods in the Ancestral Star could fight against!
“Zhong Yue, stop!" A god’s voice came from the west.
In the West Barren, rays of light flashed across the sky as the West Barren gods rushed over. From afar, they tried to stop Zhong Yue and they said, “If you kill him, you will really be going against the world!”
In that instant when the sword was just an inch away from Yanmo He’s head, the demon god’s head was cleaved open and a tiny insect god bolted away at great speed.
Inside of Yanmo He’s brain, there wasn’t anything left in it. The tiny insect god had completely devoured it and was stayed in the demon god’s brain to control the Yanmo He’s body!
The West Barren gods that rushed over were stunned as they watched the insect god flying away. The insect god fluttered his wings hard and disappeared beyond the horizon.

“Yanmo He was really infected by the insect race?" Zhong Yue was also shocked as he watched the insect god flying away. He only attacked Yanmo He because he didn’t like the demon god, wanting to teach him a lesson.
But to his surprise as well as everyone else’s, there really was an insect parasite that was spooked by Zhong Yue’s actions!
If this insect god had been able to calm himself and remain inside of Yanmo He’s brain to withstand the sword strike. The gods of the West Barren would be able to stop Zhong Yue and he would be safe. However, the insect god was too paranoid and left Yanmo He’s brain at the first sign of trouble.
In fact, Zhong Yue was even more surprised to find out that two gods had survived the insect gods. After all, there were many insect gods and mother gods that ambushed the Ancestral Star gods, the whole expedition was simply a death trap set up by the insect race.
He found it extremely suspicious that Yanmo He and the other god were able to escape back to the Ancestral Star.
But still, not even Zhong Yue was brave enough to openly question the gods. He only asked little Xuan Yuan to slash at Yanmo He because he felt cornered. It was out of everyone’s expectation that an insect god would really fly out from Yanmo He’s body!
The other gods that were rushing over quickly changed their direction to give chase after the insect god.
In Swords Gate, the heads of the races were stunned, their hearts shuddered. One, they were terrified by the incredible power of little Xuan Yuan’s divine sword; two, they were shocked by the true face of the demon god Yanmo He.
Such a drastic change caught everyone by surprise, no one was able to remain calm anymore. An insect god was just standing among them, and if this insect god decided to act, to wipe them away…
“You … Senior martial brothers, I would never thought that you all would collude with the insect god to harm Swords Gate!" Zhong Yue’s face turned gloomy, he glanced coldly at the heads of the races and the divine weapons all around the Great Wilderness started vibrating, reading to erupt.
Now, there was enough reason for him to slaughter the heads of the races already!
When given such a good opportunity, a voice shouted out in Zhong Yue’s heart and killing intent percolated in his heart. The heads of the races fraternized with the insect god and pressured Swords gate, this was not an event that one could let slide.
If the heads of the races were killed in Swords Gate, there would no longer be anything standing in the way of humanity’s rise!
Furthermore, he had a legitimate reason to do so!
All of a sudden, Shui Zian conducted his sound to Zhong Yue, he said, “Elder Zhong, calm yourself! We have no gods on our side, it’s still not the time yet!”
