As Zhong Yue regained his balance, he hurled out the skin of Kui Long, shrouding the bugs with the cowhide while Qiu Jin’er and Ao Shanshan created used their soul weapons that looked like a net, trapping the bugs in it.
The other celestial race Qi Practitioners felt envious, and they could only watch as the bugs flew away. All of a sudden, the ground around the Divine Winery quaked tremendously again, and another huge wine barrel jumped out from the ground, and this caused the other Qi Practitioners to feel extremely happy. They quickly surrounded the wine barrel and out of their expectations, one of them got crushed by the wine barrel in just one swift punch!
The remaining ones had a shock, and another Qi Practitioner was grabbed by the wine barrel before the Qi Practitioner was hurled into the barrel.
Po po——-
Noises could be heard, and shockingly, a pair of legs grew from the wine barrel, and it started walking around excitingly while shouting, "Legs, I have legs now! Guy, come out, this is our chance to get our legs!"
Dong dong dong——-
Quakes even stronger than previously occurred and countless wine barrels crawled out from the ground. In almost a blink of an eye, hundreds of these barrels emerged from the ground, surrounding Zhong Yue and the others before they lunged towards them!

Meanwhile, more and more wine barrels appeared and they charged towards the remaining Qi Practitioners in high speed, catching them and killing them so that they could get their own legs!
Zhong Yue and the other three quickly retreated while these wine barrels went after them. These wine barrels were quite fast in the air, and they possessed even quicker speed underground. All of this made it even more difficult to escape from them.
If it were just one or two of these wine barrels, Zhong Yue would be able to risk getting hurt and slice the top of the barrels open to catch these wine bugs. But once it turned into hundreds upon hundreds of these barrels, he understood that he didn't stand a chance against them at all!
However, if they kept on moving while fighting, he could still be able to cut open one or two of the top of these barrels as long as the four of them worked together. Zhong Yue was responsible for cutting off the top of these barrels, and the others were responsible for catching the wine bugs that flew out from the barrels.
Soon, another barrel was sliced apart, and just when the wine bugs flew out, Qiu Jin'er, Ao Shanshan, and Zhu Jushan used the Kui Long skin and caught every wine bug in the barrel.
And at other sides, there were also many Qi Practitioners that were risking their lives doing the same thing, except they suffered heavy losses as compared to Zhong Yue and his friends.
Fortunately, because of the Lang Ya Board, these Qi Practitioners did not really die as the board would still revive them outside.
As they continued to catch the wine bugs, the sky turned dark and suddenly, from afar flew wave after wave of the propitious red lanterns. Most of them had their own faces after they devoured heads of the unlucky Qi Practitioners. They flew around happily while they continued to sing the same song over and over again.
Thousands and thousands of these propitious lanterns lit up the dark surrounding around the Divine Winery, and they started singing at a faster and faster pace, "Wine God~~~ the wine thieves are stealing your wines~."
This is… these lanterns are not singing for the sake of it. They are trying to revive the Wine God through the singing! Thought Zhong Yue.
Upon hearing this, Zhong Yue, who was dealing with the third wine barrel, quickly abandoned his opponent before shouting, "Quick! Leave this jungle at once!"
The four then quickly ran out from the jungle, and suddenly, the ground in front of the Divine Winery exploded as a gigantic insect skeleton crawled out of the resultant crater! It was a thousand-legged, centipede dragon that was about a hundred feet long. Its legs were also like bone wings!
This centipede dragon that had only his bones remaining bore a terrifyingly godly aura; it seemed to still be replete with vitality despite having been dead for millions of years! It then flew and glided in the air as it flapped its bony wings with wine barrels attached to them.
As it flapped its legs that looked like wings, these wine barrels would go up and down with its wings before the centipede dragon threw them down at the Qi Practitioners like a bombardier. While the wine barrels regained their balance and started chasing after these Qi Practitioners, the centipede dragon shot out godly rays from its mouth that evaporated everything they touched.
"The wine thieves! They're here!" shouted the lanterns in unision as they continued to followed behind Zhong Yue and company.
And in an instant, Zhong Yue sensed an incredible godly aura surging towards them; and all he saw was the centipede dragon changing its path and start chasing them as he looked backward.
Chapter 281: Drinking The Divine Wine |
The Wine God Centipede Dragon’s bony and sharp wings flapped as it charged towards Zhong Yue and the others. Its wings were so sharp that they cut the humongous trees in the Divine Jungle as they touched the trees, creating loud noises as the trees fell onto the ground.
As the Wine God Centipede Dragon chased after Zhong Yue and the others, the lanterns followed behind them happily, guiding the Wing God centipede dragon by shouting, "Here, the wine thieves are here!"
Years after its death, the Wine God Centipede Dragon's flesh had utterly decayed, leaving only its bones intact. Thus, its eyes had already decomposed to reveal two spine-tingling hollowed sockets. To compensate, it had these lanterns take the role of his eyes to guide it.
Zhu Jushan's temper was on the verge of exploding, and he growled in anger, "These lanterns are just way too annoying!"
To add salt to the wound, the lantern dangling in front of Zhong Yue's chest said, "I am not annoying…."
With the centipede dragon flying in the air, they did not dare to fly into the air, and they continued running on the ground for their lives. They always switched their position to evade the attacks of the centipede dragon, and each time they managed to pull away from the centipede dragon, it would quickly catch up with them again. The wine barrels on their tail slammed onto the mountain, wearing out the durability of the mountain before it was quickly crushed into pieces by the centipede dragon that came charging in high speed! With the time bought by Zhu Jushan, the four of them managed to pull some distance away from the centipede dragon, but it was only a matter of time before the centipede dragon caught up with them!
"Brainless scums! You will not escape!" insulted other lanterns that appeared from nowhere while they guided the centipede dragon towards Zhong Yue and the others.
“【Deluge Liquid Water】!”
Ao Shanshan shouted, casting a skill which caused dark clouds forming around the area on top of them and in an instant, drop after drop of water began to spontaneously form in the sky.

Water rained down from the sky, flooding the Divine Jungle, creating huge waves that washed everything like a tsunami. It knocked the balance of these lanterns, and the water hindered their visions. With their sights blocked, these lanterns flew around like headless flies, ramming into trees or even flying into the water, preventing them from guiding the Wine God Centipede Dragon.
Upon seeing this, Ao Shanshan shouted, “The Water Style Skills are efficient against them! With their visions hindered, they would not be able to see us!”
“Let me help you!”
Zhong Yue reached out his hands and shouted, “ 【Unlimited Great Sun】!”
In the air, a vast burning sun appeared and evaporated the rain and the water in the Divine Jungle, and in almost an instant, water mist emerged, and it became thicker and thicker that one could even see his own hands anymore. The four of them felt relieved, and Zhong Yue identified the direction to the outside by using his divine third eye while everyone followed behind Zhong Yue out of the jungle.
"Next time, I will definitely spit on the face of whoever tells me that the Divine Jungle is not dangerous!" said Ao Shanshan in frustration as she plumped down on a rock beside the lakes that she quickly created with a skill she cast.
Zhong Yue too, sat down on the other side while he slowly calmed himself down and thought, What a dangerous jungle! Whether it be the head-eating lanterns or the leg-eating wine barrels, they all possess strength stronger than the Atman Body level Qi Practitioners, and the lanterns even know how to pray to the Wine God, allowing it to be revived temporary to fend off the intruders. All of this is just so strange!
"Fortunately, we managed to catch quite a few wine bugs and get our hands on a considerable amount of divine wine!" said Zhu Jushan as he triumphantly took out a wine bug before smiling and saying, "Who would have thought that I could drink the wines made only for the gods as well! Everyone, let us have a taste of the divine wine and see what's so special about it!"
Zhu Jushan then took out four jade cups and four wine bugs before he pressed on the stomachs of the bugs, squeezing out the divine wine from their stomachs and pouring them into the cups.
The wine was so good that as soon as they were poured into the cups, the wonderful aroma of the wine could be smelt in the air. They were on the verge of falling into inebriation just from its divine fragrance!
Then, forming on top of each jade cup were clouds that turned into phoenixes that split into two phoenixes that circled around the cup.
"So nice!" praised even Zhong Yue as just from its fragrance that greatly calmed the soul and body, he knew that the divine wines did indeed live up to their names.
Ao Shanshan took up a jade cup and said, "Our Ao Clan also have our own divine wine that was supplied only to our Clan Lord but he had little of them only. The only time he would drink the divine wine would be during each major dragon festival. Each time he drinks his divine wine, he would make us suffer by asking us to smell the aroma of the divine wine. I never thought that I would be able to drink one here…."
Zhong Yue and Qiu Jin’er also took up their jade cups before Qiu Jin’er said, “Will we get drunk?”
“We shall see.”
The four of them cheered and laughed after they looked at each other before downing all of the divine wine in their cups.
As soon as the wine entered their throat, Zhu Jushan's face changed, and he quickly shouted, "Not good!"
His body quickly enlarged as he entered the Atman Body As One state, turning into a huge giant while a horrifying spirit power surged out from the divine wine he drank into his body.
“There’s poison in the divine wine!”
Zhu Jushan rolled all over on the ground in pain, and he suddenly leaped into the sky before slamming his fist onto the ground, "Not poison, the power in the divine wine is too strong for our body right now!"
Zhong Yue, who drank the divine wine as well, also felt the divine fire burning in his stomach as the divine wine's toxin surged all over his body, pushing his body to the edge of bursting! Without any hesitation, he quickly visualized the【Sui Sovereign Flame Order Palace Visualization Art】in an attempt to turn this unbridled power into his own.

Zhu Jushan let out a loud roar as he was completely drunk and he charged back into the Divine Jungle. Instead of walking or running, he jumped around like a gorilla and in an instant, he disappeared from Zhong Yue’s vision.
“Brother Zhu!”
Zhong Yue tried to stop him by grabbing him but to no avail. Not long after he ran away, Zhong Yue heard a loud cry in the jungle while somewhere Zhong Yue was unable to see, a propitious lantern grew larger than the other lanterns. And Zhu Jushan's face soon appeared on it. The lantern with Zhu Jushan's face flew around, and it said in satisfaction, "I finally have my own head…."
Outside of the dimension, Zhu Jushan sat on the ground with an empty mind right after he was revived by the Lang Ya Board while he cried, “MY DIVINE WINE….”
And in the lake was a drunk Ao Shanshan. She swam wildly in the lake, stirring chaos on the water as her power lost control, creating thunder in the lake and dark clouds on top of the lake.
Zhong Yue wanted to stop this dragon lady from her rampage so that she would not run away like Zhu Jushan but he couldn't because he too, was busy resolving the wild power of the divine wine running wildly inside himself. With that, as soon as he stopped visualizing the【Sui Sovereign Flame Order Palace Visualization Art】, the power of the wine would take over, and his fate would be the same as Zhu Jushan's.
Thus, all he could do was watch the dragon lady swim further and further away before he lost sight of her altogether.

However, he did not realize that the face of the pretty girl turned even redder beside him and suddenly, she stood up and left her chair behind before she jumped into the huge lake.
“Senior martial brother, come and catch me!” said a drunk Qiu Jin’er with a laugh.
Zhong Yue rushed towards her in shock while dragging the wheelchair with his psyche before diving into the lake. And it was at this time a golden ship sailed towards them from afar.
“That’s the Divine Queen’s ship!”
The propitious lantern at the side of Zhong Yue shouted in fear, "Come back! Don't go there! We will be beheaded if we offend her even by the slightest bit!"

Luckily enough, she was staggering as she walked and her speed wasn't fast, it didn't take long for Zhong Yue to catch up to her and he carried the young girl in his arms.
Qiu Jin'er chortled happily, and she suddenly wrapped her hands around Zhong Yue's face and kissed him on the cheek.
"Junior martial sister, it's not a good time to play around." Zhong Yue was touched, but he suddenly stiffened up his muscles as his natural senses alerted him that something perilous was approaching.
The imperial consort's decorated pleasure boat sailed over. The golden boat was suffused with a godly aura. There were countless skeletons donned in golden armor standing on the sides of the boat, standing guard over the imperial consort even after their deaths.
