Zhong Yue, of course, had prepared himself long before and that was the sole reason why his army managed to depart with minimum weight and maximum speed. Whereas Mo Yin’s army and the Heaven Court’s reinforcements took three whole days to prepare. And that was only assembling the army, in addition to traveling time, they would need at least half a month.
And that was all Zhong Yue needed to destroy the Diming and Wuming Clan, nothing more, nothing less!
“Tian Si is useless now, so is Mister Wuji! We can’t drag this any longer or the survivors will make contact with the reinforcements! When that happens, defeat will be inevitable!”
Mo Yin calmed himself down and started contacting the sixth prince located in the Diming Clan. Right at the front were the princes and princesses who died protecting their people amidst the chaos, ending their fate tragically. And now, it was up to the sixth prince, Ming Wenshu, to protect their people.
“Your Royal Highness, how far is King Yi’s army from you?” asked Mo Yin upon getting in touch with Ming Wenshu.
“About a star’s distance away.” replied Ming Wenshu after he turned around to check.
“A star’s distance?”
The reply troubled Mo Yin a little, A star’s distance? It takes only about two hours for King Yi to cover this distance, such a long time would suffice for the reinforcements to take in the Diming Clan’s survivors and ready themselves for the approaching army. Strange… King Yi definitely won’t make such a simple mistake so, what is he after?
Suddenly, a thought struck Mo Yin and he quickly asked again, “Then how far are the Wuming Clan’s survivors from you?”
“Half a star’s distance.” replied Ming Wenshu.
Finally knowing what Zhong Yue was after, a cold chill crept down Mo Yin’s spine and his eyes twitched; if the reinforcements came into contact with Diming Clan first, the reinforcements would have to take them in to help them settle down, but the Wuming Clan would arrive right when Diming Clan was slowly being taken in, further dividing the reinforcements’ manpower. Amidst all this, Zhong Yue’s army would come charging with unstoppable speed and crush them for good!
“Your Highness!”
Mo Yin’s eyes twitched and he bit his lips, “Once you run into the reinforcements, let them take in everyone except for the warriors, they need to stay behind to cover your back!”
Ming Wenshu was slightly puzzled by this decision but that did not stop Mo Yin from talking, “I need you to turn back and stall King Yi’s army as long as you can!”
Ming Wenshu’s heart tightened, for he understood what was about to happen if he didn’t follow suit. Moments of silence later, he bitterly mumbled, “Mister, are we to sacrifice in order to preserve our race? So that it would not go extinct?”
As much as Mo Yin hated this cruel decision, he nodded and continued still, “Bring the elites and stall King Yi’s movements, buy your people the time they need and also the time needed for the reinforcements to get ready. Only this will you be able to secure a future for your race, the reinforcements and also the Heaven Court.”
The muscles on Ming Wenshu’s cheeks shuddered, “And what if the Wuming Clan’s survivors arrived? They are right behind us, if they come squeezing in at once, we won’t be able to do much.”
Mo Yin remained silent and bitterly said, “I need you to kill them all.”
Hearing this, the prince shook as he mindlessly murmured, “So I am the one that will shoulder this sin….”
“No, what you bear is contribution, a selfless contribution that saves us from being wiped out.” replied Mo Yin.
Ming Wenshu’s eyes lit up slowly and he smiled, “Mister Mo, be honest with me, how many of us will live?”
“No one, but your child can.” replied Mo Yin after keeping quiet for some time.
“This is all I need!”
Ming Wenshu stood up, and took the totem pillar away as his tears evaporated from his eyes with his energy. His vision shifted to his exhausted brothers, sisters and child. He said hoarsely, “Anyone who is a Heavenly Deity or above and still able to fight, come with me! The rest, continue the journey and meet with the Heaven Court’s reinforcement!”
The Heavenly Deities, True Deities, Deity Overlords, Deity Emperors, Creators and Imperial Emperors silently took a step forward and a young god asked, “Father, do I have to go too?”
Ming Wenshu looked at this young god gently and lovingly, and hesitated for a second before he burst out laughing, “Yes, come with me! It’s been too long since you and I have been together, I’ve spent little time with you and every time you came to me, I would always chase you away. But deep down, I am proud of you son, for what you have achieved. It’s just that I couldn’t bring myself to show you my soft side. Today, we will fight together! Your wife is pregnant as well, isn’t she?”
The young god nodded and happily said, “Seven months!”
“Good, good!”
Ming Wenshu bit his lips and smiled later, “Good, follow behind me closely! I reckon this is the last time we will be able to spend time together….”
Gradually, the reinforcements entered their vision and Ming Wenshu had the remaining soldiers escort the people to the reinforcements before he rallied his men, “Do you fear death?”
The many gods from Diming Clan looked at each other empty-minded and a voice softly mumbled, “No….”
“But I do!”
Ming Wenshu drew the sword hanging on his waist and shouted angrily, “I do! But right behind us are our children, our wives, they fear death even more than we do! Brothers and sisters, follow me! Stay with me!”
The sword was pointed towards the front, “Fear no more! We will march fearlessly to death, so that our wives and children will live to see the day after tomorrow!”
“We are of the monarch race!”
“Our father, ancestors, is an almighty Heavenly Monarch, supreme ruler of this universe! Where are our backbones? Stand up straight and face death alongside with me! There will be no retreat for Diming Clan!”

The morale was boosted by the speech and the Diming Clan’s warriors turned around, charged towards Zhong Yue’s army, quickly approaching Wuming Clan’s survivors and Ming Wenshu shouted angrily, “Gods that are Heavenly Deity and above, listen! I need you all to follow me and stall the pursuers so that our children can live!”
Yet, his words were ineffective as the Wuming Clan was shattered already, the survivors didn’t listen to Ming Wenshu as they persistently ran towards the Heaven Court’s army. Seeing this, Ming Wenshu clenched his fist and roared, “Warriors of Diming Clan, if they even dare to disrupt the reinforcements’ formations, our wives and children will die before King Yi’s stampede! If the reinforcements won’t strike them down, we will!”
The warriors were all stunned, finding it hard to believe what their commander ordered, but Ming Wenshu was already one step ahead, charging into the ranks of the Wuming Clan’s survivors, striking them down, giving his men no choice but to follow!
Diming Clan and Wuming Clan, they were on good terms, but now, an internal conflict rose.
Accusations, questions, and scoldings entered Ming Wenshu’s ears, but he could not bother any less as he continued striking down the survivors, killing his own people!
Mercy and pity were completely casted aside, for if he held back, he risked the Diming Clan’s extinction!
Shrieks were everywhere, wails and cries inundated the ears until finally, the Wuming Clan splintered apart once more as the survivors scattered in fear.
Ming Wenshu organized his men again and was met with the phalanx of soldiers of the Heaven Breaching Fortress that marched towards them in a steady and strict formation. Compared to them, the Diming Clan’s warriors were a bunch of barbarians.
Like a mantis trying to block a rolling cart.
But they had no other choice!
Ming Wenshu lowered his head and looked at his son standing right beside him. A melancholic smile spread across his bloodied face, “Do you think it’s a boy or a girl? That child in your wife’s stomach.”
“A boy! If its a girl, she would be married to someone and I don’t like that.”
His son gave him an honest smile and continued, “I always wanted to check with my divine eyes but she wouldn’t give in, she says that there would be more surprise when she gave birth to the child later on. It might also be a pair of twins? If only I could have a look at my child when my wife gives birth…”
Ming Wenshu smiled, “Aren’t you being too greedy? Boy, King Yi’s army is here, stick close to me, I wish to take one last look at you when I die.”
His son nodded and smiled, “In my next life, I want to become your son again.”
Ming Wenshu nodded, took in a deep breath, activated the monarch weapon and shouted, “Warriors of the Diming Clan, advance!”
On the other side, on the ancient ship, Zhong Yue was moved to see the Diming Clan’s selflessness in the face of imminent death. All of them were charging towards his troops despite knowing that there would be no returning. He praised, “Diming Clan is indeed the Heavenly Monarch’s race, they have the quality of bravery, loyalty, and selflessness! No wonder Di Ming managed to become the Heavenly Monarch. His people did not fail him.”
The commanders and generals nodded with mixed emotions, the fact that Heavenly Di Ming managed to sit on that throne told the world that he was outstanding, but it wouldn’t be possible if the foundation he stood on was weak.
Hardening his expression once again, Zhong Yue ordered calmly, “Then we will send them off with the dignity they deserve. Men, end their suffering! Bring out the monarch weapons!”

Before the overwhelming forces of Heaven Breaching Fortress, alongside Ming Wenshu, the Diming Clan’s warriors knew very well that they stood no chance at all, but they too, did not foresee such a swift defeat.
When the monarch weapons’ energy came rumbling at them, there was only a split second for Ming Wenshu to turn his head around, where the reinforcements were helping the survivors of Diming Clan into their ranks.
“Boy, fear not.”
He gave his son a warm smile and hugged him, “Your father is with you this time….”
Hong hong hong—
A second later, the energy wave arrived, swallowing them whole.
“Clear the path and continue marching!” shouted Fu Li as he stood at the ship’s front deck.
Right away, Creators and Imperial Emperors marched out, clearing and dispersing the remaining energy rampaging on the land as the army continued the advancement.
With a nod from Zhong Yue, Jin Hexi stood up and shouted, “Jinwu Division, march forth at the enemy camps and stomp over them!”
Yin Fanxuan stood up as well, “Yinkang Navy! Fire the cannons, open up a path for Jinwu Division!”
Imperial Emperor Duo Yin, who was hugging her lute, added, “Shield Wall Fortress! Raise the buildings and charge!”
“Star Torrent Division, lay waste to anyone who dares to stop us!”
“Heaven Riding Division, raise the Flying Fortresses!”
“Yitian Division’s Flying Gliders, join Jinwu Divison’s left flank and tear them all apart!”
“Feilong Division’s Dragon Riders, join Jinwu Divison’s right flank and rip them all apart!”

Sitting by the center of the main camp of the Heaven Court’s reinforcement were the Wu Che Army’s commander, Che Bifu, Ba Gu Army’s commander Gu Suiqiu, San Qi Army’s commander Bai Fengqi, and Si Xiang Army’s commander Xiang Zuoyu.
These were the commanders of the four army divisions, amongst them, Wu Che Army was divided into five smaller camps, equipped with only war chariots. The Ba Gu Army was actually eight mountains, mainly responsible for the formations, San Qi Army was divided into left, right and center banner, focused on banner formations. The Si Xiang Army was divided into four formations mounting the Heavenly Deity level giant creatures.
Among the four army divisions, San Qi Army had already opened up its gates, taking in the survivors gradually, but before everyone could enter, the Heaven Breaching Fortress’ armies were already on the scene!
Bai Fengqi’s Yuan Shen secret realms rumbled as she took out a totem pillar when Mo Yin contacted her, “Bannerlord Bai, my army is closing in fast and I will be reaching in no time! My only request for you is to hold off King Yi’s army! There will be no retreat, for this is the only chance we have to defeat King Yi! If you back off, we will be welcoming defeat onto ourselves!”
Bai Fengqi’s heart tightened hearing this, she quickly notified the other three and shouted, “Mister Mo wants us to stand our ground and wait for his arrival!”
Che Bifu ordered right away, “Order! Hold your ground with everything you have, no retreat!”
Gu Suiqiu shouted, “Hold! Those who dare to run will be struck down immediately!”
Xiang Zuoyu roared, “Steady! Reinforcements are on their way!”

Jinwu Division, whose speed was the quickest, crashed right into the San Qi Army, raising chaos as the powerful Jinwu Division revealed their true form of Golden Crows, dragging raging sunfire as they charged right into San Qi Army.
Fiery dragons dived in and out in the fire ocean, splattering flesh as they rampaged around and Golden Crows descended from the skies quickly, ripping flesh apart with their talons and beaks.
Then there were banners that emerged from the fire ocean, covering the land with their shadows, shrouding over the fire ocean and great sun as they enlarged. San Qi Army’s warriors lurked within the banner ocean, used the formations as a cover, striking down their foes as they emerged from the dark, hunting down Golden Crows one after another.
At the same time, along with the Yitian Division, Yi Tianjun came charging in, cutting right through San Qi Army’s ranks and with a screech, Yi Tianjun flanked them from the side and took over the control rights of the San Qi Army’s gates.
On the other side, Long Zhi and the Fei Long Division’s Dragon Riders pierced into the enemy ranks from the right, activating the monarch weapon and helping controlling the gates.
The six brothers and sisters of Mu Xiantian all had a monarch weapon on them, all belonging to the trophy they accumulated from the previous war of thrones, except that from aiding Di Ming in acquiring the throne, they were now trying to remove him and help Mu Xiantian instead.
The three army divisions successfully occupied the three gates of San Qi Army’s camps, from the left and right side came Wu Che Army’s army right away, war chariots rumbled the ground as they came charging, only to be met with the raging water of Heavenly River, Yin Fukang had arrived with his Yinkang Navy!
The entire Wu Che Army was stalled by Yinkang Navy and to make things worse, the Star Torrent Fortress’ army arrived with the Human Sovereign’s army and had them all surrounded.
Ba Gu Army started laying out the formations right away, attempting to help their allies ward off the Yinkang Navy. But that was when Tai Feng and Jiao Teng struck out with their own army, keeping the Ba Gu Army away.
From the other side, the Si Xiang Army stomped the ground with their ancient yet massive creature mounts, these were all monster slaves bred by the Heaven Court, descendants of powerful monsters, each bearing almighty raw strength. When they charged into the battlefield, gods were mowed down like grass, and countless lives were gone in the blink of an eye.
Imperial Emperor Duo Yin and Fu Ya followed right behind them, soldiers of the Shield Wall Fortress and Heaven Riding’s Flying Fortresses were sent flying towards these creatures, ramming them down with brute force. As these creatures lost their balance, the soldiers launched a barrage of attacks towards the creatures while their comrades marched out, using the barrage as a cover to swarm the creatures.
Weng weng weng—
The four army divisions’ formation was completed, four alluring star rivers spread out in the skies, just like a monarch with Four Paths Reincarnation. However, the star river belonging to San Qi Army was very dim for it was being invaded while the other three were in good condition.
Just as the four star rivers started running, shadows flew into them and their operation was halted by monarch weapons.
This fight was much tougher compared to the one where they wiped out the Diming and Wuming Clan; one was entirely unprepared, and the other was affected by the Wuming Clan, which made them an easy target.
But when it came to the four army divisions from the Heaven Court, Zhong Yue’s men was having some difficulty.
Jin Hexi, who remained at the back started giving out orders, shifting the divisions’ positions, and sent out Bi An, Nu Fang, Mu Suge and the others, each leading an army into the battlefield and surrounding San Qi Army.
With them dispatched into the battlefield, only 20,000,000 Xian Tian Royal Guards remained.
“Mo Yin wants to buy time by having the four army divisions stop me here so that he can cut me off from the back… How naive…”
Zhong Yue stood up and looked towards Jin Hexi, “How can he possibly know that what I am best at is assassination? Hexi, you will be in charge of the battle from now on. Chi Song, raise the Stone Sentinel Maze!”
Xian Tian Royal Guards immediately activated the Stone Sentinel Maze and through it, Zhong Yue’s strength increased rapidly, pushing him into the Imperial Emperor level, seven light wheels emerged behind his head, the Space Secret Realm opened and cut through the dimensions. With a simple step forward, Zhong Yue vanished into thin air along with the Xian Tian Royal Guards!
Meanwhile, Jin Hexi continued controlling the soldiers’ movements, signaled them to attack in the formations of the Golden Crows’ martial arts to tear the battlefield apart.
Suddenly, Bai Fengqi, who was fighting against Yi Tianjun, felt a stinging pain, as if there were a needle being stabbed right into her forehead. This startled her and she quickly backed off right after forcing Yi Tianjun away!
As she backed off, she swung the banner she yielded, which although not as strong as a monarch weapon, was still dangerously powerful after being refined and worshiped by San Qi Army. In addition to her peak Imperial Emperor strength, this swing was enough to shatter the void behind her!
