With the Sword Qi waltzing on his fingertips, the timber was sculpted into small pieces of wood pillars about one foot long.
Eighteen wooden pillars were lifted into the air by his psyche, his Sword Qi turned small and tiny, shuttling in between the wood pillars. Soon, as the wood shavings settled, he had carved the wood pillars into totem god pillars.
Zhong Yue put away his Sword Qi and surged his psyche into the eighteen totem pillars. Instantly, the totem patterns on the pillars emanated bright and dazzling rays, abstruse totem patterns shot out from the pillars, reforming and amalgamating around the array formation into a ninety-foot tall dragon turtle!
Following on the heel of the dragon turtle’s emergence, a two hundred-foot long snake with a pair of fluttering wings was formed right on the dragon turtle’s back by the totem pillars’ totem patterns. It wound around the dragon turtle, merging the two creatures into nothing else but the legendary Xuan Wu!

Yuchi Li and the others were curious, they watched as the totem patterns were engraved on the stone pillars. However, to their surprise, none of the totem patterns were completed!
“These totem patterns, they are all incomplete! If master is really going to place an array formation, why are the totem patterns incomplete?”
The girls laughed as they were chatting, “Master’s array formation might be a failure this time, the incomplete totem patterns can’t do anything at all, they can’t contain any power in them.”
While Yuchi Li was more thoughtful than the others, she said, “Master will most probably ask us to gather more stone pillars after he fails this time. I think we should go and prepare for him first, so that everything can be in place smoothly.”
The ladies concurred, and they left for the nearby mountain ridge to gather more stone pillars.
After a few moments, Zhong Yue finally finished sculpting the stone pillars, he surged his psyche into them and refined them with it, Then, he took out the soul weapons he had and placed them on the top of the stone pillars.
When the girls finished the preparation for the second round of stone pillars, Zhong Yue was placing the Heavenly Dharma soul weapon, the forked snake spear, horizontally in the front of the palace plaque.
“Master, it doesn’t look nice, placing it there,” Yuchi Li smiled while voicing her opinion.
Zhong Yue shook his head and answered, “This soul weapon can only be placed here, to do otherwise would disrupt the array formation and make it lose its power.”
Qing He rolled her eyeballs and asked with a smile, “Is master’s array formation ready?”
“Just one more bit, it’s still lacking of a source of energy.”
From Zhong Yue’s forehead, inner cores flew out one after another, a total of six inner cores flew out in six directions. Zhong Yue sighed, “There are only two Heavenly Dharma inner cores among the six, if only all six were at the level of Heavenly Dharma, then everything would be just perfect. But even so, the array formation is now complete.”
The nine girls were chortling to the side. She then headed toward Gu Xia City and gave her master’s request to the city lord. Hearing her words, Gu Hongzi was surprised as he said, “Asking me to test his array formation? Your master is really confident!”
Yuchi Li smiled in reply, “We’ve told our master about the problem that lies in his array formation patterns, but he just doesn’t listen and kept insisting that the city lord test his array formation. Please, may the city lord control your power and save him some face. As long as we can prove to him that his array formation doesn’t work it will do, we do not wish the living in the mountain to be harmed.”
Gu Hongzi cast his gaze over and said, “What a good wife you are.”
Yuchi Li’s face blushed red, her heart thumping as if there was a little deer hopping in her heart. She thought to herself, I’m not one yet….
Slowly but steadily, Gu Hongzi rose into the air, he gazed afar at the Singing Goose Mountain from Gu Xia City and stared closely at it, not moving for a long time. Yuchi Li was puzzled and quickly, she also flew into the sky. After a few moments, Gu Hongzi sighed and said, “This is the array formation formed by your master? It is indeed impressive.”
Yuchi Li looked over at the Singing Goose Mountain too. But she didn’t see the same beauty as Gu Hongzi did, and was even more puzzled.
“How impressive, Junior Martial Brother Long Yue has really understood the arts of array formation. The array, the weapons, and the sources, all three linking and connecting one another. The array was placed down with the incomplete totem patterns, linked by the soul weapons and sourced by the inner cores... this is truly an impressive array formation with automated capability. All of a sudden, a huge hand emerged behind him, and lunged out at the far away Singing Goose Mountain from Gu Xia City!
The hand was formed by arcane energy and totem patterns, it was a hundred mu in size, showing clearly the power of a Heavenly Dharma cultivator’s Avatar!
In the blink of an eye, the hand had reached to the top of the Singing Goose Mountain, slamming down heavily!

Not only that, but the Wu Yang River that surrounded the mountain suddenly moved!. It floated into mid-air, its two ends joined together and its power was also activated, revolving around the mountain in the sky above, it would be cast out at any time now!
