Without a Pure Yang Yuan Shen, no one could tread past the Pure Yang lighting zone. If those insect Qi Practitioners forcibly pushed through the insect race, they would surely be killed by the Pure Yang lighting.
Furthermore, although the insect planet was said to be close to the Ancestral Star, it would still take a long time for the Qi Practitioners to travel through space. And no one other than the gods could survive so long in space without a sufficient supply of breathable air.
As for the insect gods that managed to make it to the Ancestral Star, the Ancestral Star gods would surely take care of the intruders. That would be none of Zhong Yue’s business anymore.
Even if there really were a mother queen that emerged from the insect planet, the Ancestral Star still had Lord Kun, Lord Dragon, the Xiao Mang grand ancestor and others!

Zhong Yue and the others bolted out on the ice bridge. Suddenly, there were patches and patches of golden clouds flying toward them. The buzz of insect wings could be heard as the insect Qi Practitioners swarmed at them like clouds.
These insects were just low-tier insects, but they were large in number with tens of thousands insect Qi Practitioners were coming in at a time. But what was even more scary was the unknown experts hidden amongst the insect crowds.
Looking at it from afar, these insect Qi Practitioners were like waves and waves of golden waters that billowed at them, pouncing down and crashing to them as if they were the coastline.
The crowd were shocked and terrified, they mustered all their strength and blasted out like nocked arrows let loose, avoiding interception with the insects.
The ice bridge led them straight down underground. After a long time of traveling, they finally reached the underground hole and the insect Qi Practitioners chasing behind them were getting even larger in number.
Without much hesitation, the Ancestral Star experts entered the underground hole and moved along the ice bridge formed by the frozen mother queen mouth.
The insects rushed over and reached the front of the underground cave. All of a sudden, the insect Qi Practitioners swirled like a torrent above the hole but none moved further in. It felt like the insect Qi Practitioners were feared of the hole, yet, showed great respect and awe to it as well.
Suddenly, one of the insect Qi Practitioners opened its eyes and shot out thousands of light beams, blasting at the Ancestral Star Qi Practitioners inside of the underground cave.
Right at that instant, all of the other insect Qi Practitioners opened their eyes and blasted out beams as well.
Tens of thousands of insect Qi Practitioners were flying together in circles, and tens of thousand light beams coalesced together like a drilling machine.
The over tens of thousands of insect Qi Practitioners formed themselves in an array formation. Although it was crude and simple, the array formation could output incredible power, coalescing the powers of the over tens of thousand insect Qi Practitioners into one and directed the concentrated light beam at their enemies!
Swords Gate only barely had 10,000 Qi Practitioners, even for the other races that were stronger than Swords Gate, they wouldn’t be able to form a slaughtering array formation from tens of thousands of Qi Practitioners either!
It wasn’t hard to infer how strong the array formation was!
The tens of gods that were on the back of the expedition were all shocked. As soon as the gods like Bai Yuncang were going to block the incoming attack. Monster god Yu Wenju sneered coldly and said, “Don’t! This strike is exactly done to test out our limits. If we move, the insects will know how strong we are, and they will know how many gods are here! As long as the insect gods aren’t aware of our limits, they won’t dare to come squarely at us!”
Bai Yuncang and the other gods then quickly retracted their skills.
“Then, our Qi Practitioners…," a god looked at the crowd and said reluctantly.
Yu Wenju slowly shook his head in answer, “It’s up to them to decide their own fate.”
The light beam blasted down at the crowd. Bai Yuncang and the other gods were only able to protect their own Qi Practitioners and allowed the light beam to slice through their sides!
Whereas for those Qi Practitioners that weren’t protected by the gods, they were all killed without even able to put up a fight with the light beam!
At the front of the expedition, Zhong Yue immediately flew back. He landed beside Qiu Jin’er, Zuo Xianghseng and the others while shouting at them, “The Lunar Mirror!”
The divine weapon Qiu Jin’er chose to bring into the insect planet was the Lunar Mirror. Upon hearing Zhong Yue’s instruction, she immediately took out the divine mirror and placed it above them.
Zhong Yue, Zuo Xiangsheng, Tian Yanzhong, Gu Hongzi and Fang Jiange let out a long whistle and they surged their arcane energy into the mirror.
The Lunar Mirror was Shang Qing’s divine weapon, it was forged by the Shang Zhen God and was capable of reflecting any skills. Zhong Yue acquired the divine weapon when he killed Shang Qing, he hid it in the copper lamp and thus avoided Shang Shen God’s sense when he was returned in the Kun Lun Realm.
After he returned in Swords Gate, he stored it along with the other treasures in Swords Gate vault.
As soon as the Lunar Mirror was cast out and powered by the experts, it grew bigger and covered a radius of a few miles. The light beam stuck down at the mirror and pushed them back for over ten miles far while inflicting heavy damage on them.
But the light beam was also reflected back into the sky!
Instantly, the insect Qi Practitioners took a significant hit, killed by the same light beam they shot out. Their bodies turned into ash and their Yuan Shen disintegrated into the smallest particles.
In that instant, over 10,000 of insect Qi Practitioners were killed!
The light beam was reflected back, but the insects in the array formation were swirling in circles. This created even more casualties as more insect Qi Practitioners were killed by the light beam.
In mid-air, bodies were falling from the sky like rain, and even Imminent Deity insect magnates couldn’t survive the light beam!
After all, the light beam was formed by the amalgamated power of over tens of thousands of insect Qi Practitioners. This was a strike that was meant for the gods. How could ordinary Qi Practitioners ever survive it?
However, it was never in the insect race’s expectation that there would be such a treasure that could reflect the light beam.
After Zhong Yue and the human experts cast out the Lunar Mirror, none of the Qi Practitioners after them were struck by the light beam anymore; they had indirectly saved the lives of the others.
At the moment Zhong Yue and the others cast out the Lunar Mirror, his demon incarnation Mister Bo Xun and the demon concubines gathered behind Zhong Yue as well, staying in safety.
“Hmph! Little child, how dare you!" A cold sneer came from mid-air.
The voices blasted in their ears and struck a great dizziness into Zhong Yue and the others. The image of an insect god appeared inside Zhong Yue’s psyche ocean. She was filled with demonic aura, and it was the skill in her voice that brought part of her strength that could invade into their psyche ocean. She wanted to kill them from within!
This was definitely something that was only capable by gods!
The insect race was created by the demon race, and so they walked the demonic paths just like their creators. This insect god had used a demonic skill, trying to kill them with her demonic voice!
Fang Jiange gave a cold sneer, and a ray of Sword Qi shone bright in his psyche ocean, smiting the insect god image away. Meanwhile, there were godly rays that surged out and plundered the residual energy from the insect god to further hone his divine sword.
As for Gu Hongzi, there was the monster god in his psyche ocean. Surely, he was able to easily kill the insect god image away. Meanwhile, Qiu Jin’er visualized Nuwa in her mind, instantly killing the insect god image. Zuo Xiangsheng a burning fire ocean in his psyche ocean, as soon as the insect god appeared in his psyche ocean, it was incinerated by the fire spark.
But Tian Yanzhong didn’t have any of those. Color started fading away in his psyche ocean, and things started to dry up and wither as the insect god image in his psyche ocean grew bigger.
“Senior Martial Brother Tian, look at my eyes!" Zhong Yue dashed toward Tian Yanzhong and held on his shoulders while staring right into his eyes. Tian Yanzhong gave a loud cry and there demon Qi burst out from his eyes, taking the form of insect claws.
A sun then flew out from Zhong Yue’s left eye while a moon flew out from his right. The two astronomical bodies were cloaked in Yang and Yin Qi respectively while they flew into Tian Yanzhong’s eyes.
Immediately, a blazing sun and a bright moon appeared in Tian Yanzhong’s psyche ocean. The sun and moon hovered in mid-air and shone at the insect god image, melting it away.
Tian Yanzhong’s eyes regained their normal light as he gasped for air. His clothes were soaked in his sweat.
“Little brat, you are unforgivable…”
The insect god said again. Before she even finished her words, the old cleaner of the Zhu Jian Celestial Race launched a skill up into the sky. A deep muffled groan could be heard and green blood splashed down from the sky, burning like fire on the ground.
“Old rascal! I will kill you!" The insect god taken by surprise. She was badly hit by the old cleaner of the Zhu Jian Celestial Race and her voice could be heard leaving further away from them. Clearly, she retreated from the battlefield.
“Continue, press forward!" Yanmo He said.
The underground hole was deep into the core of the planet. It was unknown to them how far they traveled, but the deeper they went, the wider the space was.
Soon, they reached an underground space. There were the statues of gods aligned on the sides of the walkway, each of the statues was over 10,000 feet tall. They were all the insect gods that held solemn and respectful expressions on their faces while they knelt with one leg on the ground.
These statues... it seemed like they were paying respects to something!
“Strange, why did they only come at us twice?”
A god mumbled in confusion, “This doesn’t feel right. Logically speaking, the insect race would continue to try and test out our limits. They wouldn’t let us reach this far so easily. Unless….”
A cold breeze blew into the underground space, and an ear-soothing voice echoed out, “Unless we are waiting for you to come. My dear guests, I welcome you to our most sacred place in the whole insect race —- the great Mother Queen Palace!”

The voice felt like it had came from a true demon god rather than an insect god.
“Oh no, this is not going to be fun…" Tian Mo Concubine whispered, she said, “Now the gods are stepping into the fights…”
The other Qi Practitioners were all stern and solemn, their faces stiffened up and weren’t as cheerful as her.
The Mother Queen Palace!
The name alone suggested that this was definitely not a comfortable place for anyone outher than one from the insect race!
The insect race crowned the mother queens as their rulers. And now, they were all at the Mother Queen Palace, this seemed like the ultimate end for all of them.
In front of them, there were the cloudy mists obstructing their visions, and suddenly, the mist were blown away, revealing row after row of insect god statues kneeling on the ground.
Dark black stone shards protruded out of the top of the underground space. They were engraved with marvelous totem patterns that looked like the demon’s but were also mixed with some other unique totem patterns. These would make them the insect race’s totem patterns.
Through the totem patterns, one could see the burning reddish lava flowing inside of the shards, glimmering the totem patterns from time to time.
This told Zhong Yue that what was above the ground would most probably be some volcanoes!
While underneath, in the underground space here, there was a grand altar in the center.
The overall structure of the altar was bone-white in color as it was made from bone. Skeletons paved the ground while skulls were laid in an orderly manner that resulted in a raised platform above the ground.
They were the notable experts killed by the insect race and moved into the Mother Queen Palace, having some residual auras of the experts still lingering around them even after death. At the center of the bones, there were even a few skeletons that were suffused with divine auras — those skeletons belonged to the gods!
This was a bone altar!
A grand altar made up of the bones of myriad races!
It was so huge. Even the black stone shards and the insect god statues were part of the array formation of the altar. While that mother queen’s gigantic mouth was also extended all the way into the altar and stopped in the altar center.
Zhong Yue and the others looked over and found a skull-like palace at the top of the altar.
A huge skull that was placed there, same size as the Bo Xun’s head in the demon race!
Undoubtedly, this was the mother queen’s head!
The insect race had taken the mother queen’s skull as their godly palace, as their most sacred land!
On the altar, insect experts were all over the places. Their auras were strong and magnificent while in front of the godly palace, there were the insect gods fully unleashing their godly auras.
The insect gods’ bodies were already fully turned into the divine golds, making their mortal body the strongest line of defense to protect their Yuan Shen. And these gods shone brightly with a kaleidoscope of colors!
Moreover, Zhong Yue could see a mother insect glimmering in the moonlight. It seemed like she devoured the moon core and formed a moon core armor around her body!
Yanmo He, Yu Wenju, Bai Yuncang and the other gods were all in shock, there were over a hundred mother insect gods and insect gods in the Mother Queen Palace!
“Hm? So many insect gods here, but there is just not a single mother queen. Can I be wrong? It was not the mother queen that broke Lord Bai’s seal? But without the strength of a Deity Overlord, there is no way to break Lord Bai’s seal … Wait a minute, there is a god who isn’t an insect in the crowd…" Xin Huo said curiously, “Weird, how can the other races be among the insect gods?”

“I don’t know." Xin Huo shook his head and said, “This aura is strange, it still is of the insect race, but there seems to be a a different bloodline flowing through this god’s veins. No matter how much this god tried to suppress it, I can still sense it. This aura… it’s so strange … yet so familiar … can it be a hybrid of the insect race and some other races?”
Zhong Yue was completely bewildered, he mumbled, “Can other races even mix with the insect race?”
“Of course you can!" Xin Huo’s eyes suddenly brightened up. The tail on his back rose up high and he said, “The mother insects in the insect race have many variations as well. Some are meant to reproduce, and others are meant to lead and many others. However, the mother insects are like the Western Mother Race — they are all females. When the demon race created them, the demon ladies were used as a blueprint for their design. Look at Tian Mo Concubine, she is all cute and pretty isn’t she? There are also mother insects that are as pretty as her.
“It’s just that the mother insects have a different body structure; but they are good nevertheless. Furthermore, the mother insects can give birth to a number of babies at a time. It is much more efficient than the Western Mother Celestial Race! The Western Mother Celestial Race can only give birth to their own Western Mother Celestial Race, they are of no use at all! Let me tell you, there are a few inheritors in the past that have been together with the mother insect ladies…”
Zhong Yue listened as Xin Huo talked about the past inheritors’ past conquests. He was incredibly speechless and after a few moments, he said, “And then?”
“And then, after they all became famous, these incidents became a black spot on their bright names…" Xin Huo said diffidently, “But, it’s all natural. They were young and curious, filled with adventurous hearts and stuff like that. It’s reasonable for them to do things like that. But you are different, they were there because they were curious, you are here because you have a huge responsibility on your shoulder, you need to make more babies, you need to contribute to the rise of Fuxi…”
Zhong Yue nodded heavily, he swore to himself in the heart that he would not listen to the little flame’s nonsense anymore. He mustn’t do anything with the insect race, especially the mother insects. He must take good care of his pants and shouldn’t let his pants down at anytime at all.
“Xin Huo, which god is it that you were talking about?" Zhong Yue quickly stopped Xin Huo and asked.
Xin Huo looked glanced around through Zhong Yue’s visions and he shook his head, “Use your divine third eye, I can see clearer with that.”
Zhong Yue opened up his divine third eye and glanced around the Mother Queen Palace. Suddenly, Xin Huo shouted, “It’s her!”
Zhong Yue looked over and it was the mother insect who refined the moon core. She was indeed beautiful, in no way inferior to Qiu Jin’er, Chi Xue, and the others. However, her body features were different from the other races he seen.
She had a pair of thin and translucent dragonfly wings on her back with many marvelous golden totem patterns all over it.
Her slender and curvy figure seemed to be the epitome of beauty. And beside her toes, which were like insect toes, she was an extremely beautiful girl.
